The New Children’s Crusade
National Review Online, by Victor Davis Hanson

Original Article

Sometime around 1212, mystics in Europe cooked up the idea that kids could part the seas, reach the Holy Land, reclaim Jerusalem, and convert the infidel Muslims. Thousands of children in Northern Europe flocked to the Mediterranean in response to such rumors, but when they reached the shore, the seas would not part, and many of them died as they scattered home in hunger. We are witnessing a sort of children’s crusade on our own southern border. Thousands of young, poor would-be immigrants — 90,000 this year alone — have swarmed across the border, the logical fruition of the entire cynical

The Children´s Crusade is a poor analogy to use since all of these ´Border Kids´ (what a quaint, cutesy term they have now) are more analogous to invading Muslim hoards than they are to the misguided children of Europe. They will, however, become slaves, for rich Democrats, which is what happened to many of the child crusaders who lived.

What about AMERICAN children? What have politicians done for them but burdened them with debt, increased the cost of higher education (all the while indoctrinating them with the vile philosophies of the radical left), and pulled the rug out from under when they graduate by offering them little hope to get a good paying job. This is some future they have provided for our children.

We all know those children did not walk the thousands of miles to get to our southern border. Politicians with the help of foreign governments were instrumental in bringing them here. This is a blatant act against the sovereignty of the United States and its citizens. Is there no curiosity from the media or political class in Washington DC as to how these children arrived on our doorstep? Our country is in extreme distress and we should all fly our flags upside down in protest.

But they are "our future hope", Obama said.

Under his breath and behind his hand he was giggling insanely about all the new Democrat voters that he meant were the hope of his Party.

Victor Davis Hanson is always on the money. So much that´s quotable in his essay, e.g., the phrase:

"...apartheid existence..."

I think that Mr. Google, Mr. Facebook (does he own a suit?), Mr. Romney, Mr. Ryan, Mr. Kudlow, Mr. Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Boehner, Mr. Cantor, and the other members of the amnesty for illegals club never cross paths with illegals unless they happen to walk out their front door when the landscapers arrive to do the yard work. Then maybe they´ll give them a nod - or not.

Where is our Patrick Henry, John Adams, George Washington???? We desperately need their today equals to get us started.

#7, when Obama said "they are our future hope" he was speaking at a Democrat event. He was speaking specifically to Democrat voters about potentially new Democrat voters. The media portrays it differently.

There is no doubt that the Obama crew, the liberal Democrats, and the ethnic and immigrant advocacy groups that are Mexican and Central American oriented caused this illegal mass migration of Central American illegal aliens, with collusion from the governments of those banana republics and Mexico who want to get rid of their poor and uneducated population groups by pushing them into the USA. When you put La Raza in charge of the formulation of the administration´s immigration policies you have to expect them to support mass illegal immigration like this.

There is no way that all those people would hit the road to the US border without assurances that they would be allowed to stay in the US once they walked across the US border. There is also no way that tens of thousands of Central American children and adults could travel across Mexico en mass without the Mexican authorities turning a blind eye to their passage, as the Mexicans who have been strictly enforcing the Mexican immigration laws as regards Central Americans, would not do that unless the Mexican government received assurances from the Obama crew that all those illegal aliens from Central America would not end up stuck at the Mexican side of the borderline, but would be allowed into the USA.

This is all highly political tactic as the liberal Democrats are attempting to cow the wimpy Congressional Republicans into caving and facilitating a huge liberal Democrat amnesty that is sure, in the long-term, to generate tens of millions of foreign born voters for the liberal Democrats and make it impossible for the Republicans to win future presidential elections.

There really seems to be only one way to stop the madness. Put the National Guard on the banks of the Rio Grande stationed every 20 or so feet. Lots of light at night so the river crossers can see their weapons. No need to shoot unless challenged, just be there. A few nasty looking dogs would add to the fear. We need to close the border now.

Father Joe Biden, America´s most powerful Catholic Jesuit
politician, is down in Central America right now, on orders from the Pope of Rome, betraying America, recruiting (is he financing too?) child invaders to our borders. Getting them right up north, bribed through Mexico, where they can now cross the American border, and go right TO the Border Patrol. Go ruth TO the Border Patrol, now on orders to take them IN!

Now, here´s the NEXT BIG WHISTLEBLOWING STORY, learning of the stifling, the shutting up, of all border agents not to reveal this unprecedented invasion move.

We have hundreds of wounded vets and families whiztleblowing.
We now have the six STIFLED, MUFFLED battalion buddies
of Bergdahl coming forward, DESPITE MILITARY ATTEMPTS
OF INTIMIDATION AND CENSORSHIP OF BERGDAHL´S DESERTION.
The next big one is those many intimidated to silence
border Patrol men and women, coming out being forced to break the law and remain silent.

Now that dictator Obama has made it unconstitutionally ILLEGAL, remember !!!! they can now all hire lawyers !!!!!

So, in reality, with lawyers, the invaders will all make themselves MORE vulnerable for reversals, than they ever imagined, once it is discovered and found that all of Obama´s executive orders were criminally illegal and unconstitutional.

Americans have no idea what lies ahead. After WWII the children of returning soldiers swamped our towns, schools, housing. My mother was a teacher. Her class sizes went from 25 kids in a room to nearly 50. Some systems had split school times from 7 in the morning til 7 at night. And our kids all spoke English. On top of this, we will be swamped with unskilled workers who will work cheaply. There goes the employment future of many legal minorities.

The question I am asked more than any other these days is: How on earth are we going to make it to 2017? It’s black humor, really, ironic hyperbole; no one really believes the United States will suffer an existential catastrophe between now and the day Barack Obama leaves office. Certainly we’ve seen nothing to compare with the cascading horrors of 1979, for example—a year that began with gas rationing, proceeded to a nuclear-plant meltdown, saw 52 American diplomats taken hostage in Iran, and ended with the Soviets invading Afghanistan. The people I’ve talked to lived through 1979; they know this.

Recent events have not been kind to Hillary Clinton, but she is far from an innocent victim in what surely is one of the worst revival tours in memory. Hillary Clinton, still unwilling to acknowledge her and her boss’s failure to accurately assess the threats from al-Qaeda and the spread of jihaists into Libya, stubbornly insists we really don’t know why the jihadists attacked and killed our people. Oh, puhleez. While not a supporter of civilian trials for enemy combatants, I must admit there is something satisfying about the prosecution’s version of events laid out for all to see. The New

It’s hard to imagine a more apt summation of the lunatic state of the nation’s immigration debate than this week’s split screen. In Washington, most respectable opinion lined up, yet again, to condemn Republicans for not passing an amnesty under the guise of defunct-for-now “comprehensive immigration reform.” Meanwhile, the crisis on the Southern border continued. A massive influx of people — largely driven by Central Americans, many of them children — drawn here in the expectation of lax immigration enforcement is overwhelming border officials and facilities. A Wall Street Journal story about the White House reaction to the crisis was headlined, “Obama Plans

This Fourth of July the federal government is issuing dire warnings to protect children from the menace of sparklers. The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has released intense stick figure videos and posters warning that children should never be allowed to hold a sparkler, due to fire hazards. “Yes, we do not recommend children use sparklers, as they burn at about 2,000 degrees, which is hotter than a blow torch,” Nychelle Fleming, a spokesperson for the CPSC told the Washington Free Beacon. A 2012 video entitled “Un-Sparktacular Celebration” features a stick figure family who let their children use sparklers unsupervised.

Shortly before Ronald Reagan was sworn in as president, I wrote a column suggesting we call off the inauguration — because the president-elect’s brother, Neil, had just disclosed that their Irish grandfather, Michael, had snuck into America. “He was probably one of the early wetbacks, except that he came in from Canada instead of Mexico,” Neil told The Los Angeles Times. Seinfeld premiered 25 years ago this week — but even the most dedicated viewers of its era probably missed its inaugural episode. Dumped in a graveyard slot as a mid-summer replacement, the series (which was then titled The Seinfeld Chronicles) was given just four episodes to justify its existence when it hit the airwaves in 1989. From those inauspicious origins came Seinfeld, the sitcom juggernaut that served as appointment viewing for more than 76 million Americans at its peak. Even in syndication, Seinfeld remains master of its domain; though it hasn´t produced a new episode since 1998, the series has earned
