Graham: Next 9/11 attack

Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., warned that the next 9/11 attack could emanate from Iraq and Syria if the U.S. does not take steps to immediately halt the advance of the Islamic militants sweeping toward the Iraqi capital of Baghdad. "We need air power immediately to stop the advance toward Baghdad," Graham said on CBS´ "Face the Nation" Sunday, warning that the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) - the jihadists who are an offshoot of al Qaeda - could control the entire northern half of the country and use it to march on Jordan and Lebanon while Iran moves

The only thing we can do at this point (because this has been criminally mishandled by the administration) is try to contain the threat. The best way to contain is the promise of MASSIVE AND INDISCRIMINATE retaliation if we are hit again. NUKE AND PAVE

On CNN, Graham stated we need to draw a "red line" with Iran as it concerns "aiding" Iraq. Given the oft repeated use of the red line I take it to mean the view of the yellow stripe to which we offer as our parting gift.

But Obama has not ruled out helping Iraq, they just have to wait until his vacation is over, and then there is the little matter of raising their moral purity up to the level demanded by Obama.

I am sure that if they can show absolute proof of raising their relations with the other factions in Iraq to love-in status Obama may just get those MREs, condoms and other non-military goodies on the way. No doubt he may throw in some Queer´s Guides to Islam and autographed pictures of himself as freebies.

President Barack Obama doesn’t believe comments made by his former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton about how she and former President Bill Clinton were “not only dead broke but in debt” when they exited the White House will matter too much if she chooses to run for president. “As soon as you jump back into the spotlight in a more explicitly political way, you’re going to be fly-spec like this,” Obama told ABC News’ chief anchor George Stephanopoulos in an exclusive interview. “She’s accustomed to it. Anybody who gets involved in public life is accustomed to it. Over time I don’t think it’s going to make a big

SAN DIEGO— The computer screens are in San Diego but they show downcast faces 1,500 miles (2,400 kilometers) away at a Border Patrol station in McAllen, Texas: a 20-year old Honduran woman arrested rafting across the Rio Grande and a 23-year-old man caught under similar circumstances. Four agents wearing headsets reel through a list of personal questions, spending up to an hour on each adult and even longer on children. On an average day, hundreds of migrants are questioned on camera by agents in San Diego and other stations on the U.S.-Mexico border. The long-distance interviews — introduced last year

Well America, the Common Core-aligned standardized tests that Common Core supporters have zealously trumpeted as college-related and so dramatically superior to all previous standardized tests are finally starting to trickle out for public consumption. New York is one state that has released some Common Core tests. The tests for elementary school kids remain strictly guarded. However, other tests including the Common Core Algebra Regents test which eighth- and ninth-grade students took in early June – and must pass at some point to get high school degrees – are now available online. The algebra test is shockingly awful.

President Obama has sent a special unit of CIA officers to the UK to investigate British Muslim extremists amid growing fears in Washington that we are becoming a ‘breeding ground’ for terrorism. In a pointed snub to MI5, the agents arrived on a ‘lone wolf’ mission to interrogate senior security experts about the radicalisation of UK Muslims. The mission has been revealed as our security services have been forced to admit they are struggling to keep track of the estimated 500 Britons who have travelled to the Middle East to fight alongside the Islamic Isis forces in Syria and Iraq.

Mark your calendars for July 10. That is the day IRS officials get to explain to a federal judge why the tax agency didn’t inform the court that Lois Lerner’s emails had been lost even though the agency had knowledge of the missing emails and of other IRS officials´ missing emails. Things are definitely heating up for the IRS. On Friday, attorneys for Judicial Watch sought a courtroom status conference “as soon as possible to discuss the IRS’s failure to fulfill its duties to this court under the law, as well as other ramifications of this lawsuit.” Emmet G. Sullivan, United States District Judge for the District of Columbia, quickly granted the hearing.

Frustration and legal challenges over the network of doctors and hospitals for Obamacare patients have marred an otherwise successful rollout of the federal healthcare law in California. Limiting the number of medical providers was part of an effort by insurers to hold down premiums. But confusion over the new plans has led to unforeseen medical bills for some patients and prompted a state investigation. More complaints are surfacing as patients start to use their new coverage bought through Covered California, the state´s health insurance exchange. I am rapidly coming to the preliminary conclusion that Elizabeth Warren will be the Democrats’ 2016 standard bearer. Hillary Clinton is just too unlikable (remember that Barack Obama called her “likable enough” in one of the most memorable back handed compliments of recent political memory), and too transparently greedy, self-serving, and out of touch. Not to mention the appalling foreign affairs crises the United States faces in the wake of her term as Secretary of State. Her brand is tarnished. During a visit to the U.S.-Mexico border on Saturday, Nancy Pelosi said she held little hope that Congress will pass comprehensive immigration reform this year. The House Minority leader made her remarks during a visit to a Brownsville border patrol facility that cares for unaccompanied children. Saying that she wished she could ´take home´ the tens of thousands of children being cared for by such centers, Pelosi called for politics to be set aside to address what Barack Obama has called an ´urgent humanitarian situation´. More than 52,000 unaccompanied children, most from Central America, have been apprehended entering the U.S.

Edward Klein’s book about the animosity between the Clintons and Obamas, “Blood Feud” (Regnery Publishing), rocketed up the best-seller charts since it was featured in The Post last Sunday. Here, in another exclusive excerpt, Klein describes how Bill’s health is a preoccupation of the Clintons. A pair of black, armor-plated SUVs swung into a suburban cul-de-sac and crunched to a stop in the driveway of the Clintons’ home in Chappaqua, New York. A wall of burly Secret Service agents jumped out and surrounded the man who emerged from the lead vehicle. It was mid-summer 2013, and Bill Clinton looked shrunken and weary.

What transpired in the Mississippi Senate run-off is a red line for many conservatives across the country, because the Republican Party establishment essentially took a civil war and escalated it to a war for independence. It’s one thing to oppose your base in a primary. It’s entirely another to despicably play the race card against your base, and bolster the legitimacy of the propaganda of our race-baiting opponents on the Left. But that’s exactly what the Kamikaze pilots running the GOP did. As a result, Chris McDaniel won Republican voters handily on Tuesday, but still lost the run-off statewide thanks
