The IDF is conducting a massive manhunt for three Israeli teens kidnapped Thursday night. The three students Eyal Yifrah, 19, from Elad, Gil-Ad Shaer, 16, from Talmon and Naftali Frenkel, 16, from Nof Ayalon went missing as they were heading home from the Yeshiva where they were studying is Gush Etzion. According to Avi Issacharoff of the Times of Israel, Israeli forces are focusing on two members of Hamas who live in the Hebron

Also. We cannot forget him. Or any number of other Americans held captive around the world who don´t have whatever it was that a President would release 5 dangerous terrorists for him. However, we probably don´t have to worry about Mexico murdering him in the near future. This is a 16 year-old kid snatched on his way home from school and his captors will indeed murder him.

Wendy Davis slaps Supreme Court

Texas Sen. Wendy Davis, the Democratic nominee for governor in 2014, issued a statement condemning the court’s decision in the Hobby Lobby case. “Today’s disappointing decision to restrict access to birth control puts employers between women and their doctors. We need to trust women to make their own health care decisions — not corporations, the Supreme Court, or Greg Abbott,” she said. Abbott, the attorney general and her opponent in this fall election, issued a statement praising the ruling, which is below. Former U.S. Solicitor General Kenneth Starr, the current president of Baylor University, told the News in an interview

Barack Obama learns a little jujitsu. Over the past several weeks, President Obama has threatened to go around and without Congress to impose some form of immigration reform. He has threatened Congress. He has had his surrogates like Dick Durbin come out and say “It’s not a bluff! He’ll do it! Really! He will!. Not. A. Bluff.” Well, today the president had little TV moment to lays his cards on the table. (Snip)Those are executive branch actions. The Supreme Court this morning issued its ruling in the Hobby Lobby case. At issue was whether closely held companies like Hobby Lobby could be forced by the government to provide abortifacient coverage to its employees, in defiance of its owners’ deeply held religious beliefs. In a 5-4 ruling written by Justice Samuel Alito, the Supreme Court ruled that Hobby Lobby and other closely held companies do not have to provide contraceptive coverage that conflicts with the religious beliefs of the companies’ owners. Here are 5 major takeaways from the Supreme Court’s decision. 1) The government must provide religious accommodations to for-profit

Japan´s prime minister, Shinzo Abe, is to defy public opinion and announce a dramatic shift in the country´s defence policy that would make it easier for its troops to fight in overseas conflicts. Abe´s cabinet is expected to adopt a resolution on Tuesday that would end Japan´s long-standing ban on exercising collective self-defence, or coming to the aid of an ally under attack even if Japan itself is not threatened. Japan´s postwar constitution prohibits the use of force to settle international disputes – a restriction Abe and his supporters say inhibits the country´s ability to protect itself and its allies, despite growing

I imagine the horrified shrieks that rose from the streets outside the Supreme Court on Monday as the decision in the Hobby Lobby case began to filter out into the crowd of liberal observers was reminiscent of those poor souls who watched helplessly as the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire claimed the lives of 146 young, female garment workers. In fact, the similarities are eerie. It seems that liberal commentators have convinced themselves that, just as was the case in 1911, the courts and the country have deemed women to be of lesser value than their male counterparts. Every generation has its defining technology, and every decade, it seems, needs a label. The sixties were the Space Age, the nineties the Internet Age. The seventies and eighties saw the computer revolution. The decade just passed may come to be known as the Facebook Decade or the Smartphone Era. Without the benefit of hindsight, it’s not always apparent what a new technology will mean or how it will change the way we live. That’s especially true for the period we’ve just entered, which may one day be known as the Age of Big Data, the Dawn of the Cloud,

For a guy who was shot down in Vietnam—and endured five years of hell as a POW in a lost war—John McCain sure is enthusiastic about the use of American air power. The Arizona senator and former Navy aviator always seems to be calling in air strikes. First it was against Moammar Qaddafi’s Libya, then Bashar Assad’s Syria. Now, having harangued both Presidents Bush and Obama over the past decade to send more American manpower into Iraq, McCain is passionately pushing for American air strikes to deal with the violent spillover from Syria. Specifically, McCain wants to obliterate the Islamic State

The Keystone Pipeline project was expected to create tens of thousands of high paying jobs in the oil industry. The project itself would create 20,000 construction jobs. And the pipeline would bring oil from Canada and North Dakota to refineries in the United States. The proposed project would have extended from Alberta, Canada to Illinois, transporting approximately 400,000 barrels of crude oil per day. Estimated cost is $1.7 billion. But Obama rejected the plan in 2011 and 2014. Democrats are beholden to the radical green movement – the poor and middle class be damned. Now this… Canada pulled the plug on Keystone and will

House Speaker John Boehner has been quietly preparing to sue President Obama for months. The Ohio Republican announced just last week that he would spearhead a House lawsuit against the president to challenge, in his view, the Obama administration´s unconstitutional overreach of its executive authority and abrogation of laws passed by Congress. Obama and congressional Democrats are calling the move a political stunt because of the timing of the announcement, which came less than five months before the midterm elections. But Boehner actually started putting the lawsuit together in January.

Obama’s amnesty strategy isn’t a partial shambles: A few months ago, I punditized that (contrary to reports in the press and threats by his allies) President Obama would not take executive actions that amounted to any kind of sweeping de facto amnesty,** at least not before the November election — even if Congress refused to give him the “comprehensive” immigration legislation he wants. I figured Obama would simply keep his base happy with an incremental cutback in deportations, along the lines suggested by former acting Immigration and Customs Enforcement director John Sandweg. Meanwhile he’d hold out hope for a bill. I

The Obama administration is seriously considering a ramp-up of airport security measures over fears Islamic militants are developing a new generation of hard-to-detect bombs in war-torn Syria. The United States may also ask its foreign partners to enhance security at airports overseas, and the issue was discussed at the White House last week during a meeting of top intelligence officials, ABC News reported Sunday. The Department of Homeland Security, FBI and other agencies have for months been weighing action, including a potential public announcement, according to the ABC News report. The concern stems from intelligence about militants in Syria teaming up with Al

That’s right, the president — the president of the United States, mind you — says Americans are better off, they just don’t know it. That is the height to which the president has raised his level of mendacity. He has the sheer audacity to tell Americans that he has successfully turned the economy around, that things are all good, but that there are no real quantifiable indicators by which they could ever know that. Facebook’s News Feed—the main list of status updates, messages, and photos you see when you open Facebook on your computer or phone—is not a perfect mirror of the world. But few users expect that Facebook would change their News Feed in order to manipulate their emotional state. We now know that’s exactly what happened two years ago. For one week in January 2012, data scientists skewed what almost 700,000 Facebook users saw when they logged into its service. Some people were shown content with a preponderance of happy and positive words; some were shown content analyzed as sadder than average.

Edward Klein’s book about the animosity between the Clintons and Obamas, “Blood Feud” (Regnery Publishing), rocketed up the best-seller charts since it was featured in The Post last Sunday. Here, in another exclusive excerpt, Klein describes how Bill’s health is a preoccupation of the Clintons. A pair of black, armor-plated SUVs swung into a suburban cul-de-sac and crunched to a stop in the driveway of the Clintons’ home in Chappaqua, New York. A wall of burly Secret Service agents jumped out and surrounded the man who emerged from the lead vehicle. It was mid-summer 2013, and Bill Clinton looked shrunken and weary.

Mr. Obama will send a letter on Monday to alert Congress that he will seek an emergency appropriation for rapidly expanding border enforcement actions and humanitarian assistance programs to cope with the influx, which includes record numbers of unaccompanied minors and adults bringing children. As thousands of disease-riddled criminals storm across our borders, is it really time to mince words? President Obama appears to have an Agenda for America that stinks worse than a Border Patrol bus depot crammed with urine-drenched illegals. Is the man trying to protect and defend us, or does he want us to kick the bucket, run down the curtain, and join the choir invisible? On January 29, 2014, the Department of Homeland Security advertised for a vendor to escort 65,000 “unaccompanied alien children,” indicating that they not only knew the alien invasion was coming, they planned it.

One week after traveling to Mississippi to do his utmost to help Senator Thad Cochran (R) beat Tea Party rival Chris McDaniel, Senator John McCain (R-AZ) talked about the strengths he saw in Cochran´s approach to campaigning. According to AZ Central, McCain dismissed criticism over the tactics the Republican Establishment used to get black Democrats to cross over and vote for Cochran. Said McCain, "There are some people complaining that African-American voters voted. [But] I thought one of the major priorities of the Republican Party was to get all minority and ethnic voters out to vote for Republicans." He described Cochran´s "get-out-the-vote campaign"

Today, the Supreme Court ruled in the nationally followed Hobby Lobby case. The for-profit corporations that brought these cases to the Supreme Court—a craft store and a cabinet manufacturer—argued that the corporations’ religious convictions should excuse them from compensating their employees through the comprehensive health insurance required by law. Specifically, these private employers sought to exclude insurance coverage of several forms of birth control because, contrary to medical and scientific evidence, the corporations’ owners believe some birth control causes abortions. The Affordable Care Act already includes special arrangements for houses of worship and religious non-profits, like schools and hospitals. Houses

I am rapidly coming to the preliminary conclusion that Elizabeth Warren will be the Democrats’ 2016 standard bearer. Hillary Clinton is just too unlikable (remember that Barack Obama called her “likable enough” in one of the most memorable back handed compliments of recent political memory), and too transparently greedy, self-serving, and out of touch. Not to mention the appalling foreign affairs crises the United States faces in the wake of her term as Secretary of State. Her brand is tarnished.
