An Orchestrated Immigration Wave At The
Texas Border? Not So Paranoid To Think So

IBD, by Editorial

Immigration: As an unprecedented wave of undocumented children from Central America spills over our Texas border, a veteran lawmen´s organization has declared it an "orchestrated" event. If so, who benefits? To date, there hasn´t been a word from the White House or its agencies urging families in Honduras, Guatemala or El Salvador not to send their children alone through Mexico´s merciless badlands infested with cartel criminals to reach the U.S. There´s some Twitter activity and little else. But the newspapers and television stations throughout Central America are falsely reporting that amnesty will be theirs if they can just make it

Obama and Holder are violating their oaths daily.
FTA That conflict of interest between U.S. immigration law and La Raza — a group that strongly opposes U.S. immigration law— didn´t concern Obama. Indeed, it seemed that was why Aponte appealed to him. And he appointed her despite her anti-American past, including a relationship with an agent of Cuba´s secret intelligence service, the DGI. That scuppered her nomination as ambassador to the Dominican Republic in 1998."

I´d think the Editorial board of IBD had been lurking here on L.com.

The overload will affect schools, hospitals, doctors, housing, and police departments.

Just what Cloward-Pivin-Obama ordered.

I don´t understand why everyone is willing to overlook Mexico´s responsibility in all this. They had to ADMIT these kids into Mexico. On what basis did they do this?
That alone proves collusion between Central American governments and the Mexican government.
If that happened, Obama SHOULD naturally be furious that these governments conspired behind his back. Yet, he seems complacent. To me, that indicates that he either was complicit in the delivery of illegal children or he knew about it in advance and did nothing.

Poll after poll shows President Obama’s approval rating dipping recently, and one new Quinnipiac University Poll finds that voters say Mitt Romney would have been a better choice in 2012.With Mr. Obama deploying military troops to Iraq, failing to find compromise with Congress and seeing major defeats in the Supreme Court, voters continue to sour on him.Quinnipiac found 45 percent of voters say the country would have been better off if Mr. Romney, the 2012 GOP nominee, had been election, while just 38 percent say Mr. Obama remains a better choice. As it was when the U.S. pulled out of Iraq, President Obama’s vow to bring the war in Afghanistan to a responsible close at year’s end depends on reaching an agreement with the Afghan government to maintain a troop presence in the country. Obama has plans to keep a residual force there for a period of time in order to maintain stability and contain the Taliban, both in Afghanistan and across the border in lawless regions of Pakistan, where jihadis are active. But President Hamid Karzai has refused to sign a deal, and now the election to replace him is

The special House committee probing the fatal Benghazi attacks has yet to announce whether former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will be subpoenaed to testify, but the investigation nevertheless looms like a storm cloud over her potential 2016 presidential candidacy. Those running the committee are taking their time hiring investigators and staff. A source familiar with the committee told Fox News that public meetings and witness depositions are not expected to start until September. The schedule, it seems, threatens to leak into the unofficial -- and increasingly early -- start of the presidential campaign season. And it could undermine the launch of

Chris Matthews got confrontational with Senator Elizabeth Warren Thursday night over why the Democratic-controlled Senate and President Obama aren’t doing more to create more construction jobs all over the country. Warren said Democrats are fighting for things like that, but Matthews said, “I don’t hear you getting it done.” Warren talked about what the United States should invest more in, like education and scientific research, but all Matthews wanted to know is “what are the Democrats gonna do then?” He wondered why unions aren’t “bitching and moaning” more about getting more construction jobs and said, “The Democrats control the U.S. Senate.

Yes, it is true that there was no al-Qaeda in Iraq when George W. Bush took office. But it is equally true that there was essentially no al-Qaeda in Iraq remaining when Barack Obama took office. Which makes Bush responsible for the terrible costs incurred to defeat the 2003–09 jihadist war engendered by his invasion. We can debate forever whether those costs were worth it, but what is not debatable is Obama’s responsibility for the return of the Islamist insurgency that had been routed by the time he became president.By 2009, al-Qaeda in Iraq had been not just decimated but

What would an effective quick response to the catastrophic civil wars in Iraq and Syria look like? Sometimes in foreign policy, as in sports, it can be useful to visualize the right technique — and then hit the ball.Good policy here begins by understanding that the United States should not take the side of Iraq’s Nouri al-Maliki in his sectarian war against the Sunni insurgents. Sending U.S. fighters or drones to bomb the new extremist strongholds in Mosul and Tikrit would, as retired Gen. David Petraeus argued Wednesday, turn the United States into Maliki’s air force and deepen the Sunni-Shiite chasm.

The White House said the DACA recipients being honored are “success stories.” A spokesman for the
