Iraq crisis:
army deserter speaks out

Telegraph [UK], by Ruth Sherlock

Original Article

A group of military deserters have painted a devastating picture of the ability of the Iraqi army to stand and fight, telling The Telegraph how entire divisions surrendered Mosul, Iraq´s second city, without firing a single shot. [Snip] With Sunni insurgents now threatening the capital Baghdad the eye-witness accounts from the deserters´ reveal how sectarian enmity have, in the space of mere weeks, destroyed the Iraqi national army, which the US government spent billions of dollars to build. Corporal Muammer Naser, 35, told The Telegraph that his superiors had sympathised with remnants of the regime of Saddam Hussein, and that the generals

I always thought that a scorched earth policy was the best strategy for W, as far as, Islam was concerned. It´s even more so, now.

Sorry, but I don´t think there´s ANY peaceful, peace loving sect in Islam. Call me what you will, but I think the only solution is to totally eradicate the cult of Islam in toto. They´re all a danger to humanity and the survival of civilization.

Amen, #1. With the exceptions of Crimea and North Korea, every other place on the planet where there is upheaval, it is at the hands of Muslims. There will be no peace anywhere until Islam is eliminated.

Obama says this is a political problem that needs to be solved. If Sunni will never fight against Sunni who attack their homeland how do you find a political Solution?
I am aware how Sunni were removed from government positions after the US left Iraq. The Sunni of Iraq do have a grievance, but to just let the enemy overrun your country. . .
How does one solve this politically as the genius in the WH asserts?

This is not a political problem, it is a problem of human pride and values, which Iraqis appear not to possess. If a trained and well-armed defense force chooses to throw down their weapons and subject themselves to beheadings and murder of their wives and children without firing a shot, there isn´t much that anybody can do for them. We have just spent American lives, over ten years of our time and billions of dollars only to see our help go straight to the terrorists. W allowed this to happen by waging a politically correct war. Barry put the icing on the cake by surrendering in a war that was won.

We won´t be seeing any more purple fingers in Iraq for a long time.

I wanted to believe that GWB was right in his doctrine of believing that all people are born yearning for freedom. They may be "born" that way, but Islam beats that yearning down and replaces it with a "religion" of hatred. Now I believe that people in Islamist countries are only cable of being ruled by dictators.

A central tenet of Islam is that of submission. The true believer is conditioned to accept that he must relinquish all personal thoughts and completely submit to the will of Allah as related in the teachings of their prophet.

Thus, one doesn´t have a free will. There is no country. There is no family. There is only Allah. And if Allah says in the Quran that you must kill your own daughter for certain transgressions such as getting raped, you kill your daughter. If Allah says to behead infidels, you behead them. Etc.

Lack of will to defend your country, your family...lack of will to fight back to keep from being beheaded? Not so shocking to those taught from infancy that total submission is a necessity.

And our President has said that these are some of the sweetest sounds he has ever heard. Explains a lot about both his actions and his inactions. Submission. Bowing.

In order to win a war against primitive people who are instilled in Islam you have to use a military strategy tougher then they are using on the battlefield. Western countries are run by liberals who are unwilling to do that. The tactics of community organizers and college professors to forward what amounts to a socialist political agenda in the UK or the US will never work on the battlefield in places like Iraq and Afghanistan. Just yesterday Obama put out a line that if the Islamic sects who have been fighting each other for centuries essentially start singing Kumbya that he may bomb the terrorists, that is not going to end good. The USA had its shot in Iraq, now it is time for the Iraqi sects to fight it out without Western involvement, may the best sect win.

After hearing Obama tell the Iraqis to work out there problems politically, I doubt he will do anything meaningful to help them. Obama´s speech was code telling the Iraqi government to surrender. Obama always sides with the groups that are anti-American. Suspect Maliki sees all of this. He knows he has been left hanging, and will be lucky to escape with his life. Someone should interview him and get his thoughts on the Obama gang.

Everyone wonders what having a time machine would be like.

Well, here´s a glimpse of the 7th Century, where education was in short supply and replaced by superstition and barbarism.

Calling them cowards is compliment: at least a coward is aware of what bravery is. These people are like livestock, following the herd and panicking as a group.

In this, Islam and Marxism are indistinguishable - cultivate a mass of ignorance and manipulate it.

One more comment about Obama´s inaction here. It´s not laziness or incompetence, it´s strategy. As he has shown in other similar situations (Egypt, Syria, etc.), when he chooses to not act, it´s because the side he supports is not yet winning or has not yet achieved a sufficient foothold. He purposely wants to given them more time to gain further advantage and to stake a claim in the future government.

In this case (and in Afghanistan with the Taliban), Obama has overtly stated that the rebels must be negotiated with, legitimized, and brought into the eventual government. This is all part of the plan. He is helping to build the worldwide caliphate one collapsing American ally at a time.

There is one more American deserter that needs to be dealt with...Obama.

Wow, weapons for ISIS brokered by Obama via Chris Stevens, supported by McQueeg and Graham; Stevens and more importantly the three former SEALs murdered by al Qaeda so that the truth of it all could not be revealed prior to November 2012; the weapons then given to ISIS by the United States and now the same folks overtaking Iraq. And conservative media is bragging about Obama´s falling poll numbers like he cares one whit about it and like it will make him stop his Cloward Piven purposeful and now done in broad daylight strategy. In the mean time, the Federal Government is, in broad daylight bringing illegal aliens into the United States, criminalizing any and all questioning of it by US citizens to openly and willfully collapse the welfare system. All the while the GOP is blaming everything on a mostly corrupted tea party and doing absolutely nothing except aiding and abetting Obama, not to mention the deception, corruption and evil running our economy with a drunken debt party. So now, what part of this country do you want to take back?

Many of those in Congress who opposed W´s surge in Iraq claimed it wouldn´t work and advocated splitting Iraq into 3 parts ruled by Kurds, Shia, and Sunni. If I remember correctly, Biden was one of those advocating a split. Well, the surge worked, Iraq was largely pacified, American guidance and protection was moving it toward being a modern multi-ethnic country, an anchor of relative stability. However, not liking to be wrong, the Obama crew figured out all they had to do was to cut and run before Iraq was fully baked, and it would all fall apart and they could claim they were right after all. Our passive/aggressive foreign policy at work. Deny air cover, indeed. Throwing it all away to support an ego.

So, according to the article, in the space of mere weeks, the American-trained Iraqi national army, which the US government spent untold billions to build, was "destroyed". Yes, let´s rush to do something to restore the disaster that is the corrupt Iraqi government and its run-away military. Like, what? Ship over more pallets of US currency? This is the denouement of over a decade of applied stupidity all around.

I think we all have to constantly remind ourselves that this is tribal - it´s Sunni vs Shiite - and because of this the people don´t really have allegiance to a country (like we know). Many of these ME borders were created by the Brits and the residents don´t really recognize borders.

As in all things tribal, the leader is a strong and often ruthless man. Hussein, Gaddafi, Assad are all prime examples. We try and try to overlay democracy on these tribal cultures and they literally have no understanding of "democratic"; there´s a strong man and all others underneath him.

What we really need to do is control our borders to prevent the expected spillover. Yeah - I know. Laughter...

Communist ideologue religious fanatics here in the world of Washington, the media, all of academe, including New York and Hollywood sho biz, are helplessly blinded to see their identical twin, ghost-like parallel, religious ideological fanatics in the vast other world of terrorist Islamic supremacists.

The blind cannot, will not, see the blind. Ldotters are slowly beginning to see it. It´s not pleasant stuff. Two individuals that see it, report it DAILY, perhaps more clearly than anyone else, are Robert Spencer and his
Jihad Watch (with backing from ex commie David

The whole thing has been stage managed by Obama. He backed the Muslim Brotherhood through Libya, Egypt and Syria. He released the new leader of ISSA (an offshoot of al Qaeda backed by the Muslim Brotherhood) who had been in a US prison in Iraq. He withdrew all of out forces from Iraq (not even leaving a token force to serve as a tripwire) which cleared the way for them to complete the Islamic conquest of Iraq. Now he dawdles and agonizes over providing airstrikes against the insurgents (what do you want to bet he decides it´s too late or too risky or too intervening or too something). The crescent is going to be re-Islamized and the Caliphate re-established and one day as a direct result Islam and the western world are going to engage in WWIII . . . probably when the first nukes fly.

Obama´s father was a Sunni, he went to a Sunni school. His actions have all been politically and religiously biased towards the Sunni. Look at Lybia, Syria, and Egypt, and installing the Egyptian Brotherhood into top levels of US government.

Obama released the leader of ISIS from a US prison. He knew in February what was going to happen in Iraq, as they were breifed. The administration lied again, when they claimed no knowledge. It was fully documented and available online.

Obama knew what was coming, and is refusing to act, because he supports the ISIS rebellion. Anyone who cannot see this is willfully blind. He not only wants a civil war in Iraq, he wants the Sunni to win, and will do whatever he can to foment it. He planned this years ago.

Perhaps now this puts the Gitmo release into a light the previously confused may now comprehend. It was never about the US soldier, it was about the Iraq insurgency, and hence why it happened urgently. They sent word they were moving in, and Obama had to act.

Get your heads out of the sand, the seat of the presidency was usurped by a Sunni Muslim with no love nor faith for this country, only a desire to destroy it from within, which he is accomplishing due to political correctness gone awry.

We are now living the Constitutional Crisis you were repeatedly warned about, yet refused to believe could actually happen.

Do you hear me now?!

When I think of the thousands of lives of young Americans that have been lost, the even more who have serious wounds, and the billions of dollars I just want to puke. Saddam Hussein and his regime may be gone but the replacements appear to be even worse. We´ve paid a horrible price to replace Thug A with Thug B. Amidst the cacophony of bad news from Iraq there are some favorable straws in the wind.

First, the Kurdish Peshmerga, which outnumber the ISIS by five to one and are far better trained and armed, have taken Kirkuk. ISIS won´t mess with the Kurds, because if they do, they´ll be routed. Iraqi Kurdistan has always been the friendliest place for outsiders to visit.

Second, ISIS represents true Dark Age Islam, and the majority of Iraqi Sunnis--not to mention the Kurds and the heavy majority Shiites who will fight to win--want no part of that. There will be a lot of blood spilled, but ultimately most of it will be the ISIS invaders´. In the short run, I truly pity any ISIS preceived enemies who fall intpo their hands, especially trapped American contractors, whose heads will be slowly sawed off by the savages. Obama, busy golfing and fundraising, won´t life a finger, a phone, or a pen to preempt it.

Third, Shiite PM Nuiri al-Maliki had a hand in "encouraging" the ISIS attack, which would give him a reason to call in his puppetmasters in Iran to try to save his life and his PMship. He stole the 2010 election from Allawi by forging a coalition that mustered a bare majority in Parliament. And he has tried to screw the Kurds out of their oil money.

Fourth, Sunni Turkish leader Erdogan has sealed his border, wanting nothing to do with ISIS. He´s justifiably afraid that eastern Turkey´s large Kurdish population might unify with Kurds in Iraq and Iran, forming an independent Kurdistan. That would be a good thing.

There´s much more that isn´t being reported. Maybe you´ll hear about it.

A huge problem is the in-breeding of these people. We aren´t talking about the sharpest pencils in the pouch to begin with (allah and the mullahs frown on schools that teach anything other than suicide bombing). In-bred genetics, no education and a central belief that preaches no independent thinking. We are dealing with people who have an average IQ of 70. The best prescription is extermination. These people are the cockroaches and the fire ants of the world.

How many billions more is it going to take to finally understand that Muslims hate our guts? They want to live in the sixth century and take everyone with them under their heel. Israel has accepted an Egyptian truce proposal for the conflict with Gaza. Hamas, which controls Gaza, has not formally responded. But its armed wing has rejected the plan as a "surrender". Under the terms, the ceasefire should begin immediately, followed by a series of meetings in Cairo with high-level delegations from both sides. Palestinian officials say at least 192 people have been killed by Israeli air strikes launched eight days ago to stop militants firing rockets into Israel. There have been no Israeli air strikes into Gaza since the 09:00 ( 06:00 GMT) truce, but at least one rocket has

The U.S. deported Honduran children as young as 1-1/2 years old on Monday in the first flight since President Obama pledged to speed up the process of sending back illegal immigrant minors from Central America. Fleeing violence and poverty, record numbers of children from Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala have crossed into the United States over the past year, sparking intense debate about how to solve the problem. Monday´s flight from New Mexico to San Pedro Sula, the city with the highest murder rate in the world, returned 17 Honduran women, as well as 12 girls and nine boys, aged

The Obama administration quietly announced on Tuesday that it intends to change the way Americans learn about natural disasters and other major emergencies during radio and TV broadcasts, giving the president the ability to flip a switch and address the entire nation at once. The Emergency Alert System, the latest version of a program first established in 1951, blasts out emergency messages in the event of local weather emergencies, but can also be used to warn Americans about terror attacks and major natural disasters. [Snip] It can take up to 10 minutes for every radio, TV, cable and satellite provider to

The First Lady of these United States has declared war on Chick-fil-A. It seems the home of plump juicy breasts and hot buttered buns has run afoul of the new Smart Snacks in School program. The program is a component of Mrs. Obama’s Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010. The new government regulations require snack items served in public schools to have less than two hundred calories. That includes vending machines, lunch rooms and other campus food venues. And that’s really bad news for kids at South Carolina’s Socastee High School. They’ve just learned they will no longer be allowed to buy Chick-fil-A

“Trust” is for Con Men: The reaction to the border chaos in Texas has accomplished one thing: It has exploded the lie at the heart of current “comprehensive” immigration reform plans. The basic structure of those plans is a swap of a) near-immediate legalization for b) increased border security in the future. The appealing idea is to let current illegals stay while taking the steps necessary to prevent further waves. The lie is the assumption that, once current illegals get their legalization, pro-immigrant activists in both parties will continue to support the second half of the bargain, the increased security. Contrary to what those who defend the right to own high-powered assault rifles believe, not all guns are created equal. Due to a combination of availability, portability and criminal usage the following five types of guns are the country's most dangerous. School Shootings: Widely Reported Tragedies Since 2000 - Using firearm trace data from the ATF, as well as FBI homicide records, we determined the types of guns most often recovered from crime scenes and/or used in murders. The numbers are stark: According to the FBI's 2012 Crime in the US data, nearly 70 percent of homicides for which the FBI received weapons data involved the use

It had to come sometime, and it came in one very bad week for the Democrats: that the many big problems with Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama finally grew too great for the press to ignore. Obama in his own different way is heading towards Nixon-like levels of weirdness, as, beaten down by the failures regarding his ventures, he appears to have quit his own job. A.B. Stoddard of the Hill says in effect he has stopped being president and chooses to live in a world of his own, shutting out the problems that have become overwhelming, giving dinners where he talks

Senate Budget Committee ranking member Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) has warned all of his colleagues in Congress that President Barack Obama’s new immigration strategy—his plans to legalize millions of illegal alien adults through executive power—could destroy America as we know it. “I write to inform you of a development that threatens the foundation of our constitutional Republic,” Sessions, Congress’s top immigration hawk, wrote in a letter that was hand-delivered to all 535 members of Congress on Monday and provided exclusively to Breitbart News. Sessions cites a recent report from the National Journal, in which reporter Major Garrett detailed how, despite the ongoing

Attorney General Eric Holder encouraged Americans not to forget race while working for justice and equality in their country. “As it stands, our society is not yet color blind -- nor should it be -- given the disparities that still afflict and divide us.” Holder explained, “We must be color brave, and we must never forget that all are made better and more prosperous if all are given equal opportunities.” Holder made his remarks during a speech at Howard University on Tuesday for the 50th Anniversary Celebration of the Civil Rights Act. “We must take into account not only the

WASHINGTON — It was an enduring image of his presidency: a chastened Bill Clinton walking his dog while wife Hillary keeps her distance as the family leaves town at the height of the Monica Lewinsky scandal — but it was all part of a contrived public-repentance campaign, according to a new book. With Bill on the skids and his wife’s future prospects on the line, it was necessary for the pubic to see the president being punished, said Weekly Standard online editor Daniel Halper in his new book, “Clinton, Inc.: The Audacious Rebuilding of a Political Machine.” “They understood that

President Obama is known for being competitive on the basketball court, but he´s also apparently a cutthroat pool player. Gov. John Hickenlooper, D-Colo., told reporters at the National Governors Association meeting on Sunday that the president surprised him by beat him in two consecutive games. To add insult to injury, the two were playing at the Wynkoop Brewing Company, a bar that Hickenlooper co-founded. "You know I´ll tell ya -- the man is a shark," Hickenlooper told reporters, Time reports. "I was up a few balls. I felt pretty good. I was actually wondering whether how hard should I --

“So far this year, Republicans in Congress have blocked every serious idea to strengthen the middle class.” –President Obama, weekly address, July 12, 2014 ~This has become a standard line in the president’s oratory, as part of making his case that he’s “acted this year to help working Americans on my own– when Congress won’t act.” The president started on this path on June 27, during a speech in Minnesota: “You know, sometimes I’m forcibly, you know, politic about how I say things, but I’m finding lately that I just want to say what’s on my mind.
