Border Patrol changing diapers, heating
baby formula for surge of children

Washington Times, by Stephen Dinan

Original Article

Posted By:ElSid, 6/13/2014 8:24:38 PM

Gil Kerlikowske, commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Protection, said Friday that many of the illegal immigrant children his agents are encountering trying to slip across the U.S.-Mexico border have never even seen a doctor before. He described scenes of Border Patrol agents changing diapers and heating baby formula in order to care for some of the youngest children, and said agents are being asked to do things way beyond their skill set — particularly for so many of the agents who are young, single men. “I’ve been down there, a lot, and spent a lot of time and I’ve seen these agents doing incredible things,” he said.

Talk about a morale breaker. ...Although they may already be totally expert in such assignments due to experience within their own families, this is not in the Border Patrol job description.

This is what happens when leading liberal Democrat politicians propose a law, the "Dream Act", undermining the current immigration laws allowing all illegal alien children found in the USA, now and in the future, to be able to stay, go on welfare, and be awarded with US citizenship when they graduate from high school. It is a case of build it and they will come. Under that political philosophy a couple of billion poor children living in third world countries could come here illegally and get to stay destroying the US standard of living.

This massive migration of illegal alien children did not happen because of violence in their home countries because it has always been violent in Central America. There is no way that tens of thousands of illegal Central American children could transit through Mexico without the Mexican authorities stopping them, unless the Mexicans have received assurances that those children would we welcomed into the USA by the Obama crew.

A semi-chaotic description of chaos. But we know what he means.

Why would agents be changing diapers? There are plenty of adults and teens migrants in camp who could do that?

Same for heating formula and feeding the babies although the heating would require a stove, so you might not want the migrants dealing with that.

Birthday Cake?

I joke a little, I think one must. Overall the BP agents are probably working hard and sensibly. This isn´t their fault.

The Obama crew invited this situation with their so-called "Dream Act" amnesty that is being highly publicized throughout the third world. That amnesty would grant all illegal alien children found in the USA in unlimited numbers, now and in the future, a right to stay in the USA, to be deemed eligible for welfare benefits, and be awarded with US citizenship when they graduate from high school. It is a case of build it and they will come. This is highly political as just about all are poor and generally uneducated people who the Democrats know will eventually become Democrat voters in percentages of about 85%. There is no way that tens of thousands of illegal Central American children could transit through Mexico to the US border without the Mexican authorities stopping them, that is unless the Mexicans received assurances from the Obama crew that all those children would be welcomed into the USA.

I´ve been searching for videos of those diaper clad toddlers crawling over the border fence then waddling for miles across that barren land on this side all the while looking for someone to change their diapers and heat their formula.

Hmmmmm!

Not so many small children, but plenty of pregnant women and husky looking teenagers. Forget the compassion and empathy stuff, someone paid off Mexico to look the other way ?Chamber of Commerce ?Wall Street ?obama- This is orchestrated to divert the Border Patrol from their proper job of policing the border. I smell something much more sinister afoot. Who is now finding easy infiltration without the oversight of the border guards? Expect further nastiness and violence against American citizens to happen in our once blessed United States. Close the border. It should have been done decades ago.

Buenos Aires, Argentina - President Cristina Fernandez said Argentina can´t comply with U.S. court orders to pay $1.5 billion to winners of a decade-long legal battle over defaulted debt, the position her country was left in Monday when the U.S. Supreme Court refused to hear her government´s final appeal. Delivering a nationally broadcast address Monday night, Fernandez expressed willingness to negotiate with the winners, but said there is simply no way that Argentina can pay in cash, in full, starting just two weeks from now, which is what the U.S. courts have ordered. Russia threatened to cut off Ukraine´s gas later on Monday after the two sides failed to strike a deal that would have saved Europe from supply disruptions, stoking the worst East-West crisis since the Cold War. Ukraine hosted the last-gasp talks hoping to avoid an energy crisis compounding the new pro-Western leaders´ problems as they confront a two-month separatist insurgency threatening the very survival of their ex-Soviet state. But a top official from Russia´s state gas firm Gazprom said that the EU-brokered talks that stretched through the night had failed to bridge the two sides´ acrimonious disagreement over price and how much
