Iraqi militants try to
install vast Islamic state

CBS News, by Elizabeth Palmer

Original Article

Posted By:StormCnter, 6/13/2014 4:25:55 AM

The crisis in Iraq is largely a war between the two main branches of Islam-- the Sunnis and the Shia -- which split nearly hundreds of years ago, roughly similar to how Catholics and Protestants divided Christianity. The governments of Syria and Iraq are largely Shia. The attacking force is Sunni. That force calls itself the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria or ISIS. Along with territory, the ISIS fighters took prisoners as they swept through northern Iraq this week. The group has an especially brutal reputation.

You can´t reason with barbarians. There is no justification for the behavior of ISIS. None. Civilized people do not commit these kinds of atrocities. The reason the Middle East has been dominated by brutal dictators is because force is the only authority they recognize. The evil that is ingrained in these cultures must be eradicated and they will not willingly put down their weapons and live peacefully. Whether or not we want to believe this is immaterial. It is fact. All cultures are not equal, and until the West comes to the realization that the scourge that is consuming the world must be defeated, the brutality will escalate. This is not our problem. It is the world´s problem. Islamists are consolidating power to enable them to conquer the West and Obama and the weak dealers in the West are enabling them. They may look like crazed seventh century barbarians but they are as real a threat as was the Nazi´s. The world will be consumed by their violence. Unfortunately, Western leaders understand that Obama has made a mess in the Middle East and they are not inclined to step in at this point. There is no coalition to be built. Brutality, death, and destruction is on the rise. Thank you, Barack Hussein Obama. You have set the world on fire.

Obama did it again. Snatched Defeat from the jaws of Victory, and all done to appease the political base. I´m looking for the Muslim Brotherhood, they have to be lurking somewhere.

Stellar research, not to say scholarship, on display here from Ms. Palmer.

She might have mentioned that worldwide, Sunni Muslims outnumber the Shia by approximately 9 to 1. And that their theological differences bear only the most superficial imaginable resemblance to the Reformation.

As for ”… split nearly hundreds of years ago …” -- Sophomoric writing aside, the two sects have been squabbling since the death of Mohammed in A.D. 632 … which could qualify as “nearly hundreds of years ago,” if “nearly hundreds” is synonymous with “1400.”

As for the lurking Brotherhood, look no farther than the West Wing. And Hillary’s Georgetown bed.

The Muslim Brotherhood is behind the Sunni aggression and guess who has been stage managing the MusBros ascendency from the getgo only slowed down by Vlad the Putin and General al Sisi. In the MusBros book Baghdad is the seat of the Caliphate. This last little bit of managing only required we get out of the way . . . well that and set up the leader:

By then [2011] ISIS had a new name, and a new leader - Abu Bakr al Baghdadi.

in 2005, he was captured by American forces and spent the next four years a prisoner in the Bucca Camp in southern Iraq. He was released in 2009, the first year of guess who´s first term in office.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/morning-mix/wp/2014/06/11/how-isis-leader-abu-bakr-al-baghdadi-became-the-worlds-most-powerful-jihadi-leader/

We´re turning over the Middle East to the Muslim Brotherhood one piece at a time and nobody seems to notice or care. We better care because theses guys intend to conquer the world.

for those who did not know, there is also some representation of the Muslim Brotherhood in the USA as well. I met one, he´s working in Montgomery, Alabama. That being the case, there are certainly more. Not just in Dearborn either.
And they call themselves the Ikhwan. Even have a web site at ikhwanweb.com, just FYI, in English. Other ones in Arabic of course.

I would not be surprised to see Iran step into this in a big way. They will not want to see the Shia portions of the country under Sunni rule.

They´ve gone too far......... that´s an understatement certainly. Once they come out of the caves and scattered tents, and take over the palaces and public buildings (if they actually do) they become much more vulnerable to attack. And they become much more exposed to the wrath of their neighboring, equally immoral countries.

It´s like a criminal mafia moving into the White House, from dark, hidden back rooms, suddenly becoming more open to observation and attack.

Wait a minute, gangsters HAVE moved into the White House, and they ARE more weakened to investigation
than when they were neighborhood organizing criminals.

DALLAS – State Rep. Debbie Riddle (R-Tomball) says that the surge of illegal immigrants along the Rio Grande Valley has passed crisis levels, with over 100,000 expected to be captured this year. “I visited with Colonel Steve McCraw who’s over all of the DPS and our border security here in Texas. He assures me that securing the border is a possibility. We can do it — it’s gonna take $1.3 million per week,” says Riddle. “We need a surge capacity to do that; he would pull in the Texas National Guard, the Texas Guard, all of the DPS.” Riddle says a special

LAREDO, Texas — A dispute between the Army and the National Guard is jeopardizing the security role the Guard has played along the U.S.-Mexico border since 2006, a newspaper reported Sunday. The problems arise as the National Guard becomes more proficient at pinpointing illegal crossings along the border and as agents struggle with an influx of immigrants — especially unaccompanied minors — fleeing poverty and gang violence in Central America. The National Guard began operating along the border in 2006 when then-President George W. Bush ordered 6,000 troops to the area. Since then, the troops´ mission has evolved, and today about 300

Forty-one years ago, during a small and largely ignored government scandal, a great mystery occurred. A group of determined congressional investigators, who had learned the president of the United States was running a voice-activated taping system in the Oval Office, pressed to get their hands on the tapes. The courts ruled in their favor. The White House had to hand over a number of tapes. But it turned out one of them, which was understood by the timeline to potentially be the key one, the one that might reveal exactly how the scandal began, turned out to have an 18½-minute

The day after Islamic militants swept into Mosul, Iraq’s second-largest city, and several other enclaves along the Tigris River, the conquering army, called the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham, posted a photograph on Twitter. It showed one of its fighters—a Chechen volunteer, the group said—opening the door of an American-made Humvee that it had seized from the Iraqi Army. The Humvee and the militant, the group said, had just arrived at an isis base in Syria, where, presumably, they were ready to be dispatched in the war there. The border between Iraq and Syria may have effectively disappeared, but the

Sometime around 1212, mystics in Europe cooked up the idea that kids could part the seas, reach the Holy Land, reclaim Jerusalem, and convert the infidel Muslims. Thousands of children in Northern Europe flocked to the Mediterranean in response to such rumors, but when they reached the shore, the seas would not part, and many of them died as they scattered home in hunger. We are witnessing a sort of children’s crusade on our own southern border. Thousands of young, poor would-be immigrants — 90,000 this year alone — have swarmed across the border, the logical fruition of the entire cynical

As a lawyer in the 1970s, Hillary Clinton defended a child rapist. Is it disturbing that in a taped interview recorded years later she is heard laughing over how she succeeded in securing a more lenient sentence for him? It’s hardly unusual for a criminal trial lawyer to gossip about a courtroom triumph on behalf of a less than admirable client, often with gallows humor and over drinks after a hard day’s work. But it’s highly unusual for a lawyer to boast and laugh about such a circumstance in an on-the-record interview with a journalist—and pretty much jaw-dropping when the lawyer is

So now Bowe Bergdahl is back in the U.S. And the five Al-Qaeda terrorists we released for him are in Qatar—doubtless on their way to Iraq or Afghanistan. The prospect of an American defeat in both countries makes the exchange look more than usually stupid, and we’re entitled to ask just what’s going on in the Obama administration. We remember the Fall of Saigon and nervously await the possible evacuation of the Embassy in Baghdad, as Obama plays golf. We’ve seen crazy rulers before. There was a time, during the Napoleonic Wars, when most of Europe’s crowned heads were barking mad.

The group’s stunning, barbaric march prompted the President on Friday to offer to review a range of options because America has “a stake in making sure that these jihadists are not getting a permanent foothold in either Iraq or Syria.” Returned now to the White House from a long-weekend family vacation in California, the President must face the awful reality that he dodged

As seems the rule in the Obama era, America has few good choices for handling the Iraqi mess, but subcontracting the solution to Iran, as the Obama administration is evidently contemplating, is probably the worst. President Obama & Co. know the situation calls for some US action, but, typically, are taking their time weighing all options. By the time they finally decide, it may be too late. Last week swarming jihadi fighters captured large swaths of Iraq in a well-planned offensive, making mincemeat of Iraq’s army and ransacking its US-supplied arms in the process (not to mention more than $1 billion in

Hardly anyone accepts the IRS’ claim to have lost two years of Lois Lerner’s emails. Those most familiar with government record retention requirements, and the technology used, probably are the most skeptical. The supposedly lost emails cover January 2009 to April 2011, the period when Lerner is suspected of targeting conservative groups with heightened and invasive scrutiny. Those emails also pertain to communications Lerner may have had with agencies other than the Internal Revenue Service. That’s key, because many suspect that the Obama White House knew about, and may have coordinated, the targeting.
