Nancy Pelosi: Iraq Is
Not Our Responsibility

Breitbart´s Big Peace, by Charlie Spiering

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 6/12/2014 8:30:49 PM

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi spoke about the wave of violence hitting Iraq from Islamic militants, asserting that the United States does not have a responsibility to assist the country with military action. “I don’t think this is our responsibility, but I do think we were irresponsible for going into Iraq for a variety of other reasons,” she told reporters on Capitol Hill on Thursday. Pelosi called the violence “troubling” but asserted that there was no American appetite for further military action in the country. “It is a fact; the American people have been exhausted with wars,” she said. Pelosi reminded reporters that the

Spoken like a typical insane leftist. And Obama is not responsible for the security of this nation. s/o Mark Levine has been ranting about this tonight. He said we should target bomb the you know what out of those cockroaches and be done with it. I can´t say that I disagree. You don´t need any American soldiers on the ground for that!

Again the contortionist amazes us all.

Benghazi, IRS, VA, ACA: not a smidgen of concern.
Mexican Border: no problem.
Crimea: no problem.
Assad: big problem, we had to back the rebels.
Gaddafi: big problem, we had to bomb.
Egypt: we want the Muslim Brotherhood back.
Israel: not our friend.
Palestinians: mistreated innocents.
Iraq: not our problem.
etc. etc. etc.

"Is a puzzlement" says Nancy.
"Koch brothers" says Harry.

I wasn´t able to catch Levin live tonight, OP will be hearing the delayed broadcast in a few minutes.

I would agree with Mark, OP, and remember that the late Lee Rodgers proposed the very same - in 2001 after 9/11 and especially March 2003 when the first invasion started. He had a travel agency and spent much time in the ME, and knew well of which he spoke. Like Andrew Breitbart, his was a voice that is very much missed - especially at a time like this.

Pelosi and her band of idiots should read American history: in 1941, "the United States does [did] not have a responsibility to assist the country [China, the Phillippines, et al plus Western Europe] with military action." Then came December 7, 1941.

The same could have been said regarding ben Laden on September 10, 2001; the came September 11.

Nancy and her ilk are a danger to America.

One of the many negative downstream consequences of illegal aliens flooding across the border is the increased possibility of voter fraud. Obama and his leftist allies are committed to thwarting any effort by states to protect the integrity of the voting process that would prevent illegal aliens and other ineligible individuals from voting. Judicial Watch has launched a nationwide effort to support election integrity. That effort continued this week, as we once again joined forces with the Allied Educational Foundation (AEF) to file an amicus curiae brief with the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit in support of

Nearly six in 10 people around the world express confidence in President Obama even as his approval rating in the United States is near an all-time low, according to a poll released Monday. A Pew survey of nearly 50,000 people from 44 countries found 56 percent worldwide have confidence in Obama to do the right thing regarding world affairs. Though that number has held steady from last year, it was 16 points higher when he first took office in 2009. While strong overall, in Germany and Brazil confidence in Obama has plummeted 17 points after reports last year that the

Here’s what I predicted on Friday: I haven’t seen any polls on impeachment lately, but I’d guess that impeachment supporters would start with something like 55-60 percent of the public opposed (all Democrats and a majority of indies) and 40 percent or so in favor (most Republicans). Via Gary Jackson, how’d I do? In other words, 68 percent think Obama shouldn’t be impeached. Of that number, 56 percent — a clear majority — think he hasn’t done anything to deserve impeachment and another 12 percent think he has but that we should decline to do it anyway, presumably for the good of

In the early 1970s, the press obsessed about President Nixon´s alleged "isolation," especially as the Watergate scandal, which in an objective lookback has to be seen as relative child´s play compared to what we´re seeing now, unfolded. Proof that Nixon´s "isolation" had been a constant media theme in previous months is found in an NBC Nightly News report on May 10, 1973, when a White House staff reorganization was characterized by reporter Richard Valeriani as "Nixon moving to end President(´s) isolation." Where is the red line of impeachment? In theory, a red line might be located somewhere on a list of impeachable offenses – perhaps at the point where a certain number of transgressions is exceeded, or next to a specific instance because of its significance or impact. In reality, though, that red line exists along a spectrum of “political will.” As Andrew McCarthy explained: “You can have a thousand provable impeachable offenses, but before Congress may remove the president from power, there must be strong popular support – a public will that cuts across partisan and ideological lines.”
