Stunned GOP Establishment

From Tea Party In 2014

One day before Majority Leader Eric Cantor´s historic primary loss, the Wall Street Journal reported: “Immigration´s Primary Effect Muted.” One day after, the newspaper is reporting nothing like the shocking upset will happen again. “Those senators have been preparing for months and months for whatever might come their way and they won’t be caught off guard,” Brian Walsh, a paid consultant of the National Republican Senatorial Committee told the Journal for a piece headlined “GOP Establishment: No More Surprises Coming.” “I don’t believe the circumstances we saw in Virginia are going to be replicated in any other Senate races,” Walsh told the

Comments:
At a time when has never been more important to take back the Senate these selfish political hacks are only concerned about themselves. It´s absolutely infuriating! If only they had as much disdain for the corrupt Obama and the Democrats.

Tuesday was a bolt out of the blue for the Country Club Republicans. They are scared.

Interesting how vicious they are when it comes to Grassroots Republicans. These are the same guys the Rovettes tell us are just really good conservatives and we must vote for them to re-take the Senate. You know, the guys who send letters and invite them for coffee?

Just remember, John Cornyn is part of the group helping the slimy Thad Cochran.

The GOP Establishment´s reaction to Cantor´s loss tells us all we need to know about who they are and why they do what they do.

A teachable moment. I hope America is watching.

But.. but.. a few weeks ago these same GOP "leaders" were proclaiming that they have embraced the policies of the Tea Parties and there was no further need for them.

Baloney.

After Cantor´s defeat, the gloves are off. The Establishment has been "outed". The Establishment continues its war with the Tea Party movement. It´s them or us.

I say, it should be us.

The NRCC and NRSC have a lot of influence in primary races, with all that CofC money they can throw around. Their influence diminishes, however, in the general elections. If the GOP Establishment wants to dig in for the remaining primaries, then we can dig them out in NOvember.

We can vote to defeat Mitch McConnell, Lindsey Graham, Lamar(!) Alexander, John Boehner, Paul Ryan, and others in the general election.

Time to replace this corrupt and feckless party with a new one.

The country is sinking fast into dictatorship, and we need an effective opposition party to stop the Democrat juggernaut.

The GOP "ain´t" it.

Rather stomps on the phrase "power to the people". Truly, the elite permanent political ruling class did not see this coming after the 9% approval rating, and the recently published book, Throw Them All Out by Schweitzer? Not sure of the spelling of his name, but it was a very informative book.

Why blame/credit the tea party who had very little to nothing with this election? Heres a flash for the dolts in the media and the elite pubbies. Rumor has it the vote was about immigration- illegal immigration. The tea party stands for "taxed enough already". Why is this so hard for you to understand.?

They still treat red-blooded Americans with contempt.

My prediction is that the GOP will actually assist the Dems in driving the USA right into the cesspool of socialism. I´m losing hope much more rapidly these days. To the GOP, it´s not about America any more, it´s about their own personal enrichment and holding onto power.

Our country is doomed, and trust me when I tell you that I am very saddened that I´ve even found it necessary to say that.

We can´t win every battle, but we can win enough of them such that they begin to realize we´re watching how they vote, what they say at home vs. what they do in DC and we are prepared to remind them that nobody is indispensable. We are also learning as we go. For example, Lindsey Graham ran against too many opponents. The Tea Party needs to settle on one, and the grassroots can focus. Meanwhile the first stage of grief is denial….

It won´t be a “Surprise” when McDaniel slaughters Cochran on the 24th!

Donate to McDaniel now.

Also, donate to the Democrap opponents of The Bonner, McCarthy and McConnell in September/October and if possible, vote for those same opponents in November.

Consider the same for Ryan and a few others.

Axing several establishment RINOs from the House and replacing them with Donkeys would not change control of the house but sure as hell would send a message.

I´d also love to see Alexander and Graham get the rug pulled out from under them but that would probably nix taking control of the Senate in this election cycle.

Do they not understand that we are not good little solders that will just blindly pull the leaver for whom ever they say we should. We are not liberals after all we know how to reason and think.

It seems to me that they are trying very had to emulate the left in how they treat us the people that put them into office. I am starting to think that they are to stupid to understand that the Tea Party people hold them in the same contempt as we do the left and will do all they can to remove them.

How much of this is just a media-driven kerfuffle? Too many voters pay too much attention to the few elites in Washington and their opinions. It´s time for voters to expend a little energy and look into the candidates views and voting records and then make up their own minds. The screeching and arguing on so-called TV panels is just to get attention, avoid the real issues and sound as if they will do something. It´s just entertainment. Maybe Washington GOP is stunned but those of us outside the beltway will just go on as before and do the best we can to survive this stupidity.

Virtually every key House Republican, from Speaker John Boehner on down, has vowed to oppose a conference committee with the Senate´s immigration bill passed last year. And lawmakers working to craft legislation to address the tens of thousands of children streaming across the southern U.S. border say it won´t touch citizenship for illegal aliens, increased visas, or any other topics than border security. But a key veteran of the immigration wars on Capitol Hill is warning that legislation to amend a 2008 law being cited for cumbersome, years-long deportations would theoretically open the door to a conference committee on the controversial

President Obama’s defiant emphasis on executive action reveals a larger failure looming for his legacy: His inability to work with Republicans means that he’s unlikely to score even one significant legislative achievement over the final years of his presidency. Unless Democrats win back the House and hold onto the Senate in November, a scenario dismissed by most political analysts, Mr. Obama has said goodbye long ago to his biggest accomplishments in Congress. They occurred back in 2010, when Democrats controlled the House and Senate, and Mr. Obama signed into law Obamacare, the Dodd-Frank Wall Street reform act and a two-year extension

On July 16, comic character Archie Andrews, of Life With Archie, will die after being shot while protecting gay friend Kevin Keller. Keller is "Archie Comics´ first openly gay character." According to the Associated Press, Keller is "a married military veteran and newly elected senator who´s pushing for more gun control in Riverdale after his husband was involved in a shooting." WASHINGTON — It was an enduring image of his presidency: a chastened Bill Clinton walking his dog while wife Hillary keeps her distance as the family leaves town at the height of the Monica Lewinsky scandal — but it was all part of a contrived public-repentance campaign, according to a new book. With Bill on the skids and his wife’s future prospects on the line, it was necessary for the pubic to see the president being punished, said Weekly Standard online editor Daniel Halper in his new book, “Clinton, Inc.: The Audacious Rebuilding of a Political Machine.” “They understood that

To add insult to injury, the two were playing at the Wynkoop Brewing Company, a bar that Hickenlooper co-founded. "You know I´ll tell ya -- the man is a shark," Hickenlooper told reporters, Time reports. "I was up a few balls. I felt pretty good. I was actually wondering whether how hard should I --

It had to come sometime, and it came in one very bad week for the Democrats: that the many big problems with Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama finally grew too great for the press to ignore. Obama in his own different way is heading towards Nixon-like levels of weirdness, as, beaten down by the failures regarding his ventures, he appears to have quit his own job. A.B. Stoddard of the Hill says in effect he has stopped being president and chooses to live in a world of his own, shutting out the problems that have become overwhelming, giving dinners where he talks

“So far this year, Republicans in Congress have blocked every serious idea to strengthen the middle class.” –President Obama, weekly address, July 12, 2014 ~This has become a standard line in the president’s oratory, as part of making his case that he’s “acted this year to help working Americans on my own– when Congress won’t act.” The president started on this path on June 27, during a speech in Minnesota: “You know, sometimes I’m forcibly, you know, politic about how I say things, but I’m finding lately that I just want to say what’s on my mind. So, let me
