Immigrant children left sickened by food
at U.S. border facility as fears grow over
spread of disease in cramped conditions

Daily Mail [UK], by Alex Greig, David Martosko

The flood of children entering the U.S. illegally from Mexico has overloaded federal housing and processing facilities, creating conditions that border control agents fear could result in the spread of disease. [Snip] Tony Banegas, consul of Honduras to Arizona, told KPHO-TV that children had complained about the food at the shelter. ´This morning they switched to burritos, but they complained the eggs were cold,´ Banegas said. ´They couldn’t eat them and even made them sick. They complained they had a burrito but had to throw it in the trash.´ The children are sleeping in plastic cots but about 2,000 mattresses have reportedly

Comments:
If these children are accustomed to eating hot eggs for breakfast, how come they´re so deprived they´re forced to make the long and dangerous journey to the US?

Has anyone infiltrated La Raza lately to find out how their goal of reclaiming the border states is going?

Is it me or has this country and it´s citizens become so weak there is NOTHING that ANY "group" can do that can be stopped? It looks like we are going to have to allow thousands and thousands of "immigrants" into this country, feed, clothe, house, and finally provide LAWYERS to fight OUR laws! WHAT is going on?? WE HAVE to take our country back! We need leaders with backbone but they seem to be keeping very low profiles with a "whoever wins, I´m your friend" attitude. Seems like a lot of these "immigrant children" are disgraceful ingrates much like our OWN ingrates. We have enough of them already.

This mass flood of illegal alien children has to be a contrived act by the very liberal ethnic and immigrant advocacy groups in the USA that are politically allied to the Obama Administration and the Mexican Government, or there would be no way that all those children could illegally travel all the way from Central America through Mexico to the US border without being detected by the Mexicans and turned back. The only way that the Mexicans would go along with such a mass movement of Central American children through Mexico is if they received assurances that all those children would be allowed into the USA and would not be stuck in Mexico. This is a big conspiracy to undermine the US immigration laws in an effort to cow the wimpy Republicans to go along with a massive liberal Democrat amnesty program that will in the years ahead generate tens of millions of new foreign born voters for the Democrats and make it impossible because of such a huge change in voter demographics for the Republicans to ever win future Presidential elections. You are seeing the new socialist USA being erected before your eyes.

For those unfamiliar with La Raza and the Chicano Student Movement of Aztlan (MEChA), here are snips from a 2006 Human Events article, entitled, "The Trutth About ‘La Raza’."

. . . [T]he National Council of La Raza succeeded in raking in over $15.2 million in federal grants [in 2005] alone, of which $7.9 million was in U.S. Department of Education grants for Charter Schools, and undisclosed amounts were for get-out-the-vote efforts supporting La Raza political positions. (More on this taxpayer funding aspect at site linked at end.)

Key among the secondary organizations is the radical racist group Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan, or Chicano Student Movement of Aztlan (MEChA), one of the most anti-American groups in the country. . . .

“In the spirit of a new people that is conscious not only of its proud historical heritage but also of the brutal gringo invasion of our territories, we, the Chicano inhabitants and civilizers of the northern land of Aztlan from whence came our forefathers, reclaiming the land of their birth and consecrating the determination of our people of the sun, declare that the call of our blood is our power, our responsibility, and our inevitable destiny."

… [The] closing two-sentence motto is chilling to everyone who values equal rights for all. It says: “´For The Race everything. Outside The Race, nothing.´”

The article also quotes MEChA stating that after they reclaim the border states they will use ethnic cleansing to make it their own.

I have tremendous compassion for the children who are being used as pawns. With 80% of the earths population living on $10 or less per day we can be brought down by unbridled wealth redistribution and open borders.

What would the impact have been on the children of the world throughout the 20th century had there been no USA? We do not serve the greater global good from a pure altruistic perspective by killing the system that advanced the state of humankind more than any government entity since fish sprouted legs and slithered out of the primordial ooze.

Rather than spreading the spoils I´d rather we spread the keys to that success; individual liberty and responsibility, capitalism, limited government with the guts to protect itself, adherence to the rule of law, our very constitution and the representative republic defined therein.

I’m old enough and fortunate enough to still remember the many years of my lifetime when The United States of America was a sovereign nation, The Statue of Liberty stood literally and symbolically for our uniqueness, exceptionalism and opportunity and our Founders had shrewdly placed We the People in charge of our destiny.

Today, what We the People are experiencing is an unprecedented effort to annihilate from within what has been the finest country on Earth. Succumb to that effort? Without a fight? Hardly!

What is truly disturbing, along with the posts above, is these "kids" will be released to their parent(s) in the US regardless of whether or not they too are here illegally.

How about a few barges in Galveston loaded up & sent down to Central America & off-loaded - it´s not like there isn´t a precedent for it.

"Back during the great depression, Herbert Hoover ordered the deportation of ALL illegal aliens in order to make jobs available to American citizens that desperately needed work.

Harry Truman deported over two million illegal aliens after WWII to create jobs for returning veterans.

In 1954 Dwight Eisenhower deported 13 million illegal Mexicans. The program was called Operation Wetback. It was done so WWII and Korean War veterans would have a better chance at jobs. It took two years, but they deported them!

Now, if they could deport the illegal aliens back then, they could surely do it today. If you have doubts about the veracity of this information, enter Operation Wetback into your favorite search engine and confirm it for yourself.

Why, you might ask, can´t they do this today? Actually the answer is quite simple. Hoover , Truman, and Eisenhower were men of honor, not untrustworthy politicians looking for votes!"

The left is ginning up Immigration reform in time for 2014 and 2016. The left and big business are lined up to push it through already.

The left see a growth in the dependent class, and more votes.

Big business sees cheap labor especially since out sourcing has become problematic because their products get pirated overseas. They are willing to move manufacturing and labor back to the USA as long as they can get cheap labor at close to third world wages.

All those immigrants are in for a rude surprise. Things won´t be better for them.

Meanwhile, I am suppose to sacrifice myself? For whom? Some corrupt politician or corporate executive? Not going to happen.

I am tired of all the identity and class politics. The ´U´ is USA stands for ´United´.

On April 1, the U.S. economy dropped a whopping 2.9 percent for the first three months of the year (no fooling). The American workforce participation rate fell to a 40-year low. One-third of people aged 18-29 have moved back in with their parents. Millions of Americans this summer will enjoy yet another “staycation”: They just can’t afford to go to the beach or the mountains, even for a week — again. (Snip) Forget that the United States is deep into what Mr. Obama dramatically declares a “humanitarian crisis,” that the Middle East is a powder keg about to blow, that Iraq has all but fallen to Islamist terrorists. (Why not forget; the president has.)

A Fox News exclusive reported this morning by Jana Winter inexplicably buried the lede. Winter reports that several dead children have been discovered “washed up along the riverbank” of the Rio Grande, but fails to note that there have been no reports by the Obama administration on this. This indicates a pattern of covering up dead illegal alien kids by the Obama administration. It was two weeks before news was reported on the sole child death acknowledged by the Obama administration, Gilberto Ramos, a 15 year-old boy from Guatemala whose body was found in the Texas brush dead from the

In his weekly radio/YouTube address, President Obama derided House Republicans’ planned lawsuit against him, warning that GOP lawmakers will spend taxpayer dollars on a frivolous legal challenge. “It’s a political stunt that’s going to waste months of America’s time. And by the way, they’re going to pay for it using your hard-earned tax dollars,” Obama said. (Video) House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, has orchestrated the beginnings of a lawsuit against the president over his use of executive authority. As the White House and the GOP-controlled House have failed to compromise on a slew of issues during Obama’s tenure, the president has

President Obama is “absolutely” the most transparent president in history, White House press secretary Josh Earnest said Sunday after the White House received a letter from signed by a dozen top journalists’ groups complaining about the administration’s policies toward the media. “There are a number of steps that we´ve taken to give people greater insight into what´s happening at the White House,” Earnest said in an interview with CNN’s “Reliable Sources.” The letter, signed by the Society of Professional Journalists and the Poynter Institute, among others, accuses the White House of "politically driven suppression of news and information about federal agencies." It

First lady Michelle Obama grabbed the political reins during a speech to the League of United Latin American Citizens in New York City, telling the crowd of admirers not to worry — that her husband wouldn’t wait on Congress to take action on immigration reform. “So make no mistake about it — we have to keep on fighting as hard as we can on immigration,” Mrs. Obama said, to a cheering crowd, Breitbart reported. “And as my husband has said, he’s going to do whatever administrative action it takes to fix this broken system.” Mrs. Obama then vowed that Congress wouldn’t get

Friday on "Democracy Now," Rep. Luis Gutiérrez (D-IL) attacked his "shameful" Republican colleagues for wanting to change the 2008 child trafficking law so that the children from from Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador current streaming across the border in hopes of evading deportation will be treated the same as those from Mexico before approving the $3.7 billion in emergency funding the president has requested. The Illinois Democrat said, "I think it is shameful that in the Congress of the U.S. we see members of Congress engendering and creating fear of children. We should be protecting children, not creating fear of them." Yesterday,

The “ugly American” has gotten a lot uglier over the past few weeks, from the streets of California to the halls of Congress and state houses around the country. A growing number of our fellow Americans have taken on grotesque features, in looks and sounds, in reaction to the thousands of children from Central America who have crossed our borders as they flee poverty and violence in hope for something better. Sadly, the arrival of these youngsters has been greeted by flag-waving, sign-carrying, Bible-thumping and Constitution-quoting citizens demanding that they not be received here and that they be returned immediately to their

In remarks framed as a message to the American public, actor Jon Voight emotionally aired his political grievances for several minutes in a televised statement on Saturday. Those grievances range from (but are not limited to) Benghazi, the IRS scandal, the "targeting" of conservative filmmaker Dinesh D´Souza, illegal immigration, the Hobby Lobby Supreme Court case, the treatment of war veterans, the chaos in Iraq and deep reservations about President Obama. "Five years ago, I stated that Obama would take the country apart piece-by-piece, that he would cause a civil war in this country," Voight read on Saturday in a statement on
