CBS Presses Marco Rubio on
Immigration Reforms; Hillary´s
Latest Remarks on Benghazi

Charlie Rose and Norah O´Donnell questioned Republican Senator Marco Rubio on Tuesday´s CBS This Morning over the increase in the number of children illegally entering the U.S., and whether immigration reform is going to be revived in Congress. Rose spotlighted that Rubio received "some political pushback" on the immigration issue, and wondered, "When will we see thorough immigration reform?" The PBS veteran also noted that the Florida politician is a "leading critic of the V.A. health system," but oddly didn´t ask a question about the ongoing scandal. Instead, he ran to Hillary Clinton´s defense on the extent of her responsibility

In the town of Pocatello, Idaho, last Tuesday, Jason Carey stood waving a yellow sign that read: “BOWE IS NOT AS HERO. He Deserted America.” It struck a chord. “People were honking their horns, giving me the thumbs-up,” Carey said. “I only had one guy giving me the middle finger.” Until last weekend Carey, a burly, goateed veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan, had been a staunch supporter of Bowe Bergdahl. He gave money to the “Bring Bowe home” campaign. “He was included in my prayers every night.” His first reaction to Bergdahl’s release after nearly five years in captivity was

Much attention has been given to the claim made by the former platoonmates of Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl that he is partly to blame for the deaths of six soldiers who were killed in the months after Bergdahl disappeared. Some soldiers have gone so far as to say the six died while searching for Bergdahl. Others say he is indirectly to blame -- after Bergdahl vanished, essentially every operation became a mission to find their lost colleague in one way or another, they say. "I can´t really say I blame Bergdahl to the fullest extent," former Staff Sgt. Justin

Hillary Clinton, who recently raked in $5 million dollars in speaking fees in 15 months, recounted to Diane Sawyer the sad tale of her former destitution, telling her, “We came out of the White House not only dead broke but in debt.” According to Clinton, she and her husband, who has made over $100 million since leaving the White House, “struggled to, you know, piece together the resources for mortgages for houses, for Chelsea’s education, you know, it was not easy.” But, as Clinton’s story goes, the two hard-working, middle-class millionaires somehow managed to put food on the table in

It’s no secret that the administration of President Barack Obama has encouraged cities and states not to pick up illegal aliens. They even took the state of Arizona to court to prevent them from doing what the federal government refuses to do. If it’s no secret to us, it’s entirely reasonable to assume it’s no secret to the millions in Mexico and Central America who would like nothing better than to come north and illegally cross the border in order to pay a visit to the folks — also illegal. As I write this, there is a humanitarian crisis on

Texas State Sen. Wendy Davis suggested that the Republican stance on immigration is a racist one, and that conservatives simply don’t like “people who don’t look like them.” “You need look no further than what happened in Arizona with their anti-immigration bill and the withdrawal of tourism and the impact to their economy as a consequence of what ideological thinkers did to that state,” the Democrat said at a Human Rights Campaign PAC fundraiser in Austin, The Daily Caller reported. Miss Davis is running for governor against Republican Attorney General Greg Abbott, who is leading by double digits in most polls.

Accusations of threats and intimidation against whistleblowers are a feature not bug of the scandal factory known as the Obama administration, and according to a columnist from Huffington Post, SwapGate is no different. Huffpo columnist Bill Robinson joined Fox and Friends Monday morning with some exclusive info from a Pentagon official. Robinson said the official wanted the American people to know that there´s a bigger story about the Bergdahl swap that isn´t being told - including the claim that servicemen received threats and intimidation from the White House to keep quiet. Robinson, who has written a series of columns called,

College professor David Brat knocked off House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R., Va.) Tuesday in the biggest congressional upset in years. Mr. Brat ran an underfunded campaign based in part on Mr. Cantor’s supposed support for comprehensive immigration reform, when Mr. Cantor has for months been seen by immigration reform advocates as the key roadblock to House legislation. Mr. Brat was so unknown that his Wikipedia entry was only two sentences before Tuesday night. Mr. Brat, an economics professor at Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Va., had support from radio host Laura Ingraham, who hosted a rally with him in a

Retailers are starting to push a new trend in menswear: the short suit. The ensemble looks like a regular suit from the waist up, with a sport coat over a button-down shirt and sometimes a tie or bowtie. Instead of trousers, however, the suit´s bottoms are cropped at the knee. J. Crew, Topman, Asos, and Barneys are among the retailers selling the short suit this season. They may be taking cues from fashion icon Pharrell Williams, who donned tuxedo shorts to the Academy Awards earlier this year. "It’s definitely having a moment, particularly with younger guys," Jon Patrick, the creative director at menswear

Since its first introduction into our lexicon, the definition of the word metrosexual has changed several times. At first it was used to describe young, urban males who were more interested in fashion, grooming and appearance than the traditional masculine male. Sexuality ran the gamut from officially gay, straight or bisexual. Then an article in Salon.com by Mark Simpson narrowed it down to the following: "He might be officially gay, straight or bisexual, but this is utterly immaterial because he has clearly taken himself as his own love object and pleasure as his sexual preference." In his book Male Impersonators,

WASHINGTON — Last year, the husband of Iowa Republican state Sen. Joni Ernst, her party’s nominee for Senate made his opinion known about Hillary Clinton on Facebook. “Truly more of a hag now than when she was 1st Lady!” Gail Ernst wrote, sharing a Benghazi-related image. Gail Ernst mostly uses his Facebook page — which is public — to rally supporters to his wife’s Senate bid. Gail Ernst is a prominent surrogate for his wife, making official campaign appearances touted on Joni Ernst’s official campaign Facebook page. He often comments on posts on his wife’s campaign Facebook page from his own.

The last question asked at Monday night´s closed-door briefing of members of the House of Representatives was a simple one: Who made the decision to transfer five top Taliban officials held at Guantanamo Bay to Qatar in exchange for the return of the Taliban´s lone American POW, Army sergeant Bowe Bergdahl? According to Buck McKeon, the chairman of the House Armed Services committee, the Obama administration´s briefers told he gathered House members that the person responsible for the decision to make the deal was not President Obama but Chuck Hagel, the secretary of defense. The normally blustery California Chrome co-owner Steve Coburn showed a sensitive side on Good Morning America on Monday as he tearfully apologized to his wife and rival owners for his fiery rant after his horse´s loss in Saturday´s Belmont Stakes. ´I´m very ashamed of myself,´ the 61-year-old told Robin Roberts with his wife at his side. ´I need to apologize to a lot of people.´ Those people included the team behind Tonalist, the winner that Coburn´s Triple Crown Dreams, as well as his co-owner wife Carolyn who he was seen lashing out at as she attempted to calm him during

Ron Fournier reveals that yet another highly placed Democrat has quit on the president. (Snip) That doesn’t mean the Left can’t change. It only signifies that the shift, when it comes, will be no ordinary change of mind. It will be more akin to a Pauline conversion than a matter of fact acknowledgment of a mistake. To non-ideologues being proved wrong is nothing important. You just admit to error and correct yourself. By contrast, because ideology defines the self-importance of ideologues, to confess you’ve been took is a humiliation beyond description. The only thing likely to precipitate such a change
