IRS Gave FBI 1.1 Million Pages

Prosecution Of Conservatives

Power Line, by John Hinderaker

It is just about impossible to keep up with all of the Obama administration scandals, but the corruption of the Internal Revenue Service ranks near the top. Unfortunately, it has gone hand in hand with Barack Obama and Eric Holder’s corruption of the Department of Justice. The perversion of law enforcement agencies for political ends is starkly revealed by the fact that in 2010, as part of its effort to stem the Tea Party movement, the IRS gave the FBI disks containing more than 1.1 million pages of documents on Section 501 non-profits, so that the FBI could selectively prosecute

The letter is a Must Read.

The corrupt Obama administration is corrupt because 1. they are Leftists and 2. the GOP, knowingly and willingly, allows them to be corrupt with total impunity.

Of 1. and 2. it´s hard to say which is worse.

This is basically just depressing. The most corrupt administration in the history of the country, revealing how liberals-left work like never before, and THERE ISN´T ONE DAMN THING WE CAN DO. When you have the media in your pocket , federal judges on your payroll and a neutered, ineffective, cowardly Capitol Hill, this is what you get, a fascist government complete with secret police and goon squads in the form of federal agencies and militarized police.

Government by goonery is here, and growing. It appears our elected representatives are acquiescent. Privacy is the "issue" of today and the future. Time for some sunshine to hit the government information processing and storage and security industry. And it´s time to hold people who enabled this accountable - and that is a bi-partisan roster of those who would surrender liberty for "security".

The tall forest of scandal obscures the vision of any single standing scandal.

So Mr. President with all due respect for your office, does this rise to the level of a smidgen?

Are we ready for the grown ups to get back in power and to face the time honored truths known since man´s first attempts at civilization?

The Executive Branch is now the enforcement wing of the DNC. The IRS, the DOJ, the FBI and the EPA all flout the law.

Even electing a GOP president will not be enough to change this new status quo. Only large numbers of people going to jail and losing their pensions will reverse this process.

The extent of the violation of Title 26, United States Code, Section 6103(i) is breathtaking. I´m a retired Federal prosecutor and I tried tax cases during my career. I cannot find the words to explain how serious this is. The concept that Lerner or other IRS employees would send any taxpayer and return information (let alone millions of bits of data) to DOJ without an "exparte order" from a district court (after complying with the vigorous requirements to obtain such an order in 6103(i)) is mind boggling in its lawlessness. The act defies the culture of confidentiality that is beaten and inculcated into every IRS employee who has access to return data. Everyone who willingly participated in such a scheme is a felon. No wonder Lerner took the fifth. No wonder IRS, DOJ, the White House whores who speak for the President and POTUS have all played rope a dope with Congress. Congress passed Section 6103 to preclude this exact scenario. The perps committed these crimes intentionally and with malice aforethought. Those executive branch employees who participated in this vile conspiracy are not just criminals, they are in active insurrection against the Constitution. They believe that their ends justify any illegal means and the Constitution, Congress, the separation of powers, and individual liberty be damned.

Since no one will have charges pressed against them by Eric Holder, POTUS will be hard-pressed to grant any pardons before he slithers away in January 2017. But, on the day after, let the prosecutions begin in earnest.

Hmmm. Let´s see now... the FBI... they´re under the "leadership" (sic) of the Department of Justice, which is headed up by the guy named Eric Holder.

Given this, I have just one question: why has he been prosecuted?

Consider this:

In February 1975, John Mitchell, the former Attorney General, was found guilty of conspiracy, obstruction of justice, and perjury and sentenced to two and a half to eight years in prison for his role in the Watergate break-in and cover-up.

And we´re supposed to believe that Mitchell´s law breaking was so much more serious than what Holder has been up to?

Hello? Congress? Hello? Anybody home?

The First Lady of these United States has declared war on Chick-fil-A. It seems the home of plump juicy breasts and hot buttered buns has run afoul of the new Smart Snacks in School program. The program is a component of Mrs. Obama’s Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010. The new government regulations require snack items served in public schools to have less than two hundred calories. That includes vending machines, lunch rooms and other campus food venues. And that’s really bad news for kids at South Carolina’s Socastee High School. They’ve just learned they will no longer be allowed to buy Chick-fil-A

Senate Budget Committee ranking member Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) has warned all of his colleagues in Congress that President Barack Obama’s new immigration strategy—his plans to legalize millions of illegal alien adults through executive power—could destroy America as we know it. “I write to inform you of a development that threatens the foundation of our constitutional Republic,” Sessions, Congress’s top immigration hawk, wrote in a letter that was hand-delivered to all 535 members of Congress on Monday and provided exclusively to Breitbart News. Sessions cites a recent report from the National Journal, in which reporter Major Garrett detailed how, despite the ongoing

Attorney General Eric Holder encouraged Americans not to forget race while working for justice and equality in their country. “As it stands, our society is not yet color blind -- nor should it be -- given the disparities that still afflict and divide us.” Holder explained, “We must be color brave, and we must never forget that all are made better and more prosperous if all are given equal opportunities.” Holder made his remarks during a speech at Howard University on Tuesday for the 50th Anniversary Celebration of the Civil Rights Act. “We must take into account not only the

President Obama is known for being competitive on the basketball court, but he´s also apparently a cutthroat pool player. Gov. John Hickenlooper, D-Colo., told reporters at the National Governors Association meeting on Sunday that the president surprised him by beat him in two consecutive games. To add insult to injury, the two were playing at the Wynkoop Brewing Company, a bar that Hickenlooper co-founded. "You know I´ll tell ya -- the man is a shark," Hickenlooper told reporters, Time reports. "I was up a few balls. I felt pretty good. I was actually wondering whether how hard should I --

WASHINGTON — It was an enduring image of his presidency: a chastened Bill Clinton walking his dog while wife Hillary keeps her distance as the family leaves town at the height of the Monica Lewinsky scandal — but it was all part of a contrived public-repentance campaign, according to a new book. With Bill on the skids and his wife’s future prospects on the line, it was necessary for the pubic to see the president being punished, said Weekly Standard online editor Daniel Halper in his new book, “Clinton, Inc.: The Audacious Rebuilding of a Political Machine.” “They understood that
