Dem rep compares Taliban to

Fox News, by Mike Emanuel

A Democratic congressman offered a curious analogy on Monday to explain why the U.S. is dealing with the Taliban -- apparently comparing them to soldiers in the American Revolution. According to sources, Rep. Jerrold Nadler, D-N.Y., made the comparison during a House briefing late Monday with administration officials on the trade of Taliban members for American Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl. Nadler apparently made the point that the Taliban, as non-state actors, have a status similar to that of American soldiers who fought the British during the Revolutionary War. This comparison, Fox News is told, was met with a lot of groaning by other lawmakers. Several

The Taliban were terrorizing and destroying large areas of Afghanistan.
They should have been tried for war crimes -genocide of those who were opposed to them and not given the life of luxury at Gitmo and Qatar.
Before 9/11 three fourths of ALL refugees were from Afghanistan.
The Libs only became concerned when they destroyed some statutes.
They still should be tried for war crimes and never returned to Afghanistan.
No wonder Karzai refused to meet with Fauxbama.

Whoops, my post @#5 was intended for the thread about 0bama drawing thousands of illegal third world invaders into our country to force the GOP into accepting amnesty.

But since I´m here, this fat Nadler slob´s comments just illustrate that the DemocRAT party has no concept of who we are dealing with regarding radical Islam or what the American Revolution was all about.

I must have missed class the day the discussion was about American Patriots chasing school girls into burning buildings. On a completely unrelated note, has anyone heard any rumors about congressman Nadler and senator Boxer? Statements like Jarrold´s latest sound sort of California-ish. How about Nadler and Wasserman-Schultz? Any gossip about them?

President Obama on Tuesday reiterated a commitment to ensuring that the perpetrators of the 2012 attack on the U.S. diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya, are brought to justice. With the backsliding economy, the collapse of Iraq, the record rise in disability, the slow-motion invasion along our southern borders — actively assisted by the current administration — and the fixation on imaginary threats over real-world problems, we have now arrived at a an inflection point in the development of the American political system. For if war is too important to be left to the generals, can we not now also say, definitively, that politics is too important to be left to the politicians? Consider the increasingly strange case of Barack Hussein Obama, aka Barry Soetero, a man apparently born

Even before Eric Cantor’s seismic loss to a political novice backed by the tea party last week, many Republican elders had concluded that Jeb Bush, who really wants to become the third President Bush, won’t run in 2016. The emerging consensus explains why some of these party mandarins have launched a new political boomlet touting the ex-Florida governor: Jeb for Veep. At first the notion seems a little weird. While a reliable ideological conservative, Bush is a dreaded mainstream Republican. Worse yet for many on the Right, he’s a fervent booster of comprehensive immigration reform. That provokes apoplexy among many

IRS Knew Lerner Emails Were Missing

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) knew for months that Lois Lerner’s emails had been destroyed, even before the current IRS commissioner testified that his agency would produce all of them. The IRS knew as early as February 2014 that Lerner’s emails were missing, top lawmakers on the House Committee on Ways and Means confirmed Tuesday. The IRS had this knowledge nearly three months before IRS commissioner John Koskinen agreed at a hearing to turn over all of Lerner’s emails to the committee. Additionally, the IRS failed to deliver emails from six other IRS employees at the heart of the IRS

Hardly anyone accepts the IRS’ claim to have lost two years of Lois Lerner’s emails. Those most familiar with government record retention requirements, and the technology used, probably are the most skeptical. The supposedly lost emails cover January 2009 to April 2011, the period when Lerner is suspected of targeting conservative groups with heightened and invasive scrutiny. Those emails also pertain to communications Lerner may have had with agencies other than the Internal Revenue Service. That’s key, because many suspect that the Obama White House knew about, and may have coordinated, the targeting.
