The Media Finally Gets The
Mass Shooter It Always Wanted

Daily Caller, by J. Arthur Bloom

The problem with mass murderers is it’s so hard to make them fit a narrative. Remember the retractions from people like The Nation’s Eric Alterman and HuffPo’s Elise Foley after a DHS report tying Jared Loughner to a white advocacy website turned out to be just “brainstorming”? Then when even the Anti-Defamation League had trouble claiming Loughner was an anti-Semite, we blamed Sarah Palin, because what kind of adult wouldn’t fly into a homicidal rage at the sight of bullseyes on a map? Then when even that strained credulity, the culprit became “anti-government, pro-gun, xenophobic populism.” You know, the stuff all those hayseeds

It doesn´t really matter, talk to any liberal and they will insist that the last 10 out of 10 shooting incidents were instigated by radical tea party racists. Truth and facts mean nothing because they are not reported in mainstream and leftist media.

Swastikas and nazi paraphernalia scream lefty/libtard loud and clear, as does their shouted phrase about revolution. The flag and face-book page were no doubt their idea of misdirection.

If they really were the crazy, extremist, hate filled, right wing, white supremacist, mass murderers the left has been waiting for why aren´t we seeing all their affiliations with the Klan, the Neo Nazis and the Skin Heads, not to mention their demented rants from their FaceBook and other internet accounts splashed across all the headlines? Why haven´t we seen at least excerpts from their manifesto? I mean, times a wasting, they need to get the news out before the sell by date passes. Besides it´s a perfect diversion from the Bergdahl problem. The media usually aren´t this reticent in using such incidents to indict every right of center person in the country. Could there be a problem with the info? Didn´t they kill enough people? What´s up?

Democrats entered the fall of 2013 looking like a slight favorite to retain the Senate. They left the winter of 2014 looking like an undisputed underdog. What happened? The botched rollout of the Affordable Care Act hurt Democrats badly. But the damage from that debacle would have been a lot less potent if not for the efforts of one conservative group in particular. Since October, Americans for Prosperity has spent the kind of money on TV that nobody has ever seen before in the early months of a midterm election—more than $40 million. Just about all of it has targeted

Let’s face it — there was never going to be a good time for a gaffe of this scale, but it’s hard to think of a worse time for it. In Iraq, where Hillary Clinton signed off on the zero option rather than push for Barack Obama to reach an agreement for residual forces, an al-Qaeda spinoff marches on Baghdad in its effort to establish a new Islamist caliphate. In Afghanistan, fifty people died in what is largely considered a successful election campaign. In Burma, which Hillary claims as one of her crowning achievements, the winner of an election from

In 1985, New Yorker Leon Klinghoffer, 69, and his wife Marilyn took a cruise to celebrate their 36th wedding anniversary. Leon never came back: Four members of the Palestine Liberation Front hijacked the Achille Lauro, shot him in the head and threw him overboard in his wheelchair. Starting in October, The Metropolitan Opera in Lincoln Center plans to show a mockery of this brutal murder — the long-dormant “The Death of Klinghoffer.” The title gives away the show’s agenda: Klinghoffer didn’t “die”: This World War II vet was murdered by terrorists. The show has widely been denounced as anti-Semitic and sympathetic to

John Edwards´ old campaign manager, Josh Stein, is the current North Carolina Senator in District 16. He´s also among the most extreme and dangerous politicians in the state. Among the reasons he is dangerous are a) his assertion that killing unborn children is a fundamental constitutional right and b) his suggestion that Senate Republicans are more dangerous than Islamic extremists. It is bad enough that this former disciple of John Edwards is serving in our state senate. To make matters worse, he also wants to be the next attorney general of the Tar Heel State. Is President Obama done with Washington? The 44th president has never been the capital’s biggest fan, but his frustration with life in D.C. is bubbling to the surface in ways both casual and substantive. The president twice went for unscheduled walkabouts last week, taking a trip to a Starbucks near the White House with his chief of staff Denis McDonough on Monday and, the next day, turning up at a burger joint in Alexandria, Va. “The bear is loose!” is the president’s favorite phrase at such moments, and he deployed it again last week. On Sept. 29, 1973, President Nixon’s secretary, Rose Mary Woods, made “a terrible mistake.” She was reviewing a tape recording from the previous year when she took a break to take a phone call. She meant to hit the pause button, she said, but hit the record button by accident — and poof, an 18½-minute gap. No one will ever know what was in that infamous gap. But the unbelievable story helped propel the impeachment against Nixon, and he would fly off into ignominy with that sad double peace salute and a jowly head shake. The case against Nixon was airtight.

Members of Congress called on President Obama Sunday to link up with Arab allies and quell a quick-moving crisis in Iraq, where Islamic militants swept toward Baghdad and left a bloody trail in their wake. Republican lawmakers said the administration has sat on the sidelines for too long as sectarian violence threatens to undo what U.S. troops accomplished during the war in Iraq. The bloodshed spurred by militants from an al Qaeda splinter group could topple the country’s fragile government while civil war rages in neighboring Syria, they said, offering a magnet for extremists from Iran and even western nations.
