Harry Reid: $1.7 Million Sale of My

National Review, by Andrew Johnson

Original Article

Harry Reid isn’t just moving to Las Vegas from his hometown of Searchlight, Nev., to be closer to his grandchildren — he’s also looking to give the economy a boost. Reid and his wife Landra sold their home in Searchlight for $1.7 million to Nevada Milling and Mining, a mining company, over the weekend. Reid said, according to KSNV, that the the expansion of the mine allowed by the sale will create about 60 jobs. He also cited his upcoming reelection campaign in 2016 and the constant travel required to Sin City as another reason for the relocation. Reid further

Apparently Reid´s extracurricular activities are common knowledge. David Burge (Iowahawk) just tweeted:

You know, they are nasty, and they pollute our pristine environment. Oh he horrors.

But I guess that only applies to the peasant rabid lie-berals. The ruling elite can do anything they want as long as they make lots of money doing it...

The ENTIRE tiny burg of Searchlight isn´t worth $1.7m, let alone one rotten, diseased filled house. This is a backdoor bribe by Nevada M&M either for previous "services rendered" or to keep Reid from introducing damaging legislation in the Senate!

The only 60 jobs that will be created is when they bulldoze the filth-covered, uninhabitable house and return the site to it´s natural desert environment.

OK Boys & Girls, time for some factoids:

Some research indicates the Reid Compound address is located at 900 State Highway 164 and isolated on the northwest side of town. Zillow says it´s a 2 bed/2 bath 2,937 sf home on 4.7 acres. Zillow lists it at $458k which seems vastly overpriced for the Nevada market. The high was $644k in Jan 2007 and the low was $325 in Jan 2012.

Nobody in their right mind would pay $1.7m unless there was something crooked going on.

No one from True The Vote, the highest profile organization targeted by the IRS in the scandal involving improper scrutiny of conservative-leaning non-profits, has been interviewed by the FBI or investigators from the Department of Justice, according to the group’s President, Catherine Engelbrecht. This stunning revelation comes just days after Attorney General Eric Holder rebuffed the suggestion that an independent investigation is needed into the growing scandal. Holder told ABC News this weekend that a special investigation was unnecessary because “career people” and FBI agents were “doing a good, professional job” investigating the matter. The Times praised the Obama administration´s request for $3.7 billion in aid to deal with a crisis they think is a "myth." "The besieged border is a myth, and the arrival of a few thousand weary refugee children on buses does not make the myth true," the Times wrote.
