´I´ve Had Enough:´ When
Democrats Quit on Obama

National Journal, by Ron Fournier

Original Article

Posted By:Drive, 6/9/2014 10:10:29 AM

The email hit my inbox at 9:41 p.m. last Wednesday. From one of the most powerful Democrats in Washington, a close adviser to the White House, the missive amounted to an electronic eye roll. "Even I have had enough." Another Democrat had quit on President Obama. The tipping point for this person was the Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl case – not the soldier-for-Taliban swap itself as much as how the White House mishandled its obligation to communicate effectively and honestly to Congress and the public. More than that, Obama´s team had failed once again to acknowledge its mistakes, preferring to cast blame and

FTA: The same mistakes get made again and again, provoking a familiar chorus of friendly fire, which leads me to conclude that either Democrats aren´t being honest with the president, or he isn´t listening.

Hey Ron, how about the man is an idiot and a narcissist.

The headline is nonsense. Dems never quit on their own. As long as they have Harry Reid -(D-NV)and John Boehner -(Sissy-OH) on the payroll, they are in good shape.

So I repeat my question, when are they going to "man up" and do something about it?

This country will not survive another 2 1/2 years of his criminality. He is actively encouraging Central Americans to send their children here and they are complying. Our borders are a sieve and no one is doing anything to stop it.

He is releasing terrorists for a deserter. He is arming our police department with paramilitary equipment.

Wake up Dems! If you think you are safe from his overreaches, you´re not. You will go under the bus with the rest of us.

Whether in his columns or in his appearances on Bret Baier´s discussion panel, Fournier twists himself into an inedible pretzel trying to find a needle of right in a haystack of Democrat/Obama wrong. The strain is beginning to show.

He writes: "To this senior Democrat, the Politico story showed the White House to be both tone-deaf and arrogant, two vices that are undermining what could have been a great presidency." Those last seven words are almost enough to cause sensible citizens to start boxing themselves on the ears to end the steady hum of deliberate media misdirection. Greatness is as far removed from Obama as up is from down; they´re polar opposites.

I congratulate the Democrats who have finally had enough of Obama, but these politicized, corrupted people are unaware that the same moral virus that is eating him alive has infected rest of his Party. Like the Picture of Dorian Grey, the public face of the Democrats has turned disgusting and will soon horrify. Even the Democrats´ chief water carriers like Fournier, unconvincingly feigning neutrality, have been infected, so in love as they are with the Narrative. May the eventual knowledge that they´ve been worshipping an unsustainable inhuman idol with a human face torment them forever.

The Dem´s are blaming a failure, once again, of the socialist ideology on Obama´s poor leadership.

The reason he fails, is that the policies he implements are fundamentally flawed. The fact that he is incompetent and lazy doesn´t help the Dem´s, but they need to look beyond that to their delusional world view and ideology to find the real culprit.

This administration as yet has not accepted ´responsibility´ for anything. It continues to blame some ephemeral being with all it´s blunders. Even if it accepted responsibility what would they do? How is that done? Maybe they all need to go to the pillory on Main Street until they are too weak to do any more damage. There must be a way to stop the insanity.

They haven´t really ´quit´ when they wholeheartedly support the policies but just abhor his inability to communicate and his political skill.

I was going to argue that its the policies themselves that create the problems for him to explain and defend them -- and I think that´s true but he has still been able to do so much damage/ be so successful that I would have to question what these people are suddenly so exasperated with, if they agree wholeheartedly with him. So I just can´t believe the premise of the article.

Is the wimpy little boy in the WH who is now so "Tired and bored with being President" such a scary tyrant over the party? Will anyone who speaks against the "Won" be sent immediately to the flame thrower firing squad? Or (gasp- worse!) be ignored at the next White House gala celebrating Cinco De Mayo or Gay Rights Day?

There´s a bunch of cowardly lions for ya! But, they are Democrats! What else do we expect of them? They would rather watch this nation crushed to death than open their yaps in contradiction of their Beautiful Leader.

Ron Fournier, who are you trying to fool? Anyone who reads your article critically can perceive that you really did NOT report a stealth exodus by Democrats.

You did, though . . . after cleverly sucking in readers with your Lorelei-genre headline . . . present Obama as a respected and admirable, well-meaning but unapologetic, neophyte.

You began with:

The tipping point for this person was the Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl case—not the soldier-for-Taliban swap itself . . . Obama´s team had failed once again to acknowledge its mistakes . . . .

And you said:

. . . They respect and admire Obama but believe that his presidency has been damaged by his shortcomings as a leader; his inattention to details of governing; his disengagement from the political process and from the public . . . .

You also ‘reported’:

A Democratic House member . . . told me in January, "He´s bored and tired of being president, and our party is paying the price."

Ad nauseam.

Ad nauseam.

Ad nauseam.

WHY did none of your anonymous Democrat confidants express the slightest twinge of dismay at Obama’s Fast and Furious, Benghazi, IRS, or pro-Palestinian anti-Israel EVILS?  (Let’s call a spade a spade. The word ‘scandal’ . . . popular in gossip columns . . . hardly fits the evil Obama has inflicted on Americans and around the globe.)

Did none of your Democrat confidants regret the EVIL of Obama’s purposeful lying “If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor. If you like your health care plan, you can keep your health care plan.”?

Did no Democrat remark to you that flooding this country with illegals robbed Americans of jobs, robbed children of ample attention from their overloaded teachers, et cetera?

Sorry, Fournier. In my opinion, your pastel canvas of ROT would be more at home in the Museum of Red Herrings than in a professional journal.

The rumors that Rupert Murdoch was interested in purchasing Time Warner gained some shape and form Wednesday morning, as the New York Times reported that sources said Murdoch made an $80 billion offer for the TV-cable-film-magazine conglomerate, only to be rebuffed. Fox approached Time Warner in June and offered to pay $85 a share on Time Warner stock; the combined company would be worth about $65 billion in revenue. Per the Times, Murdoch is especially interested in Time Warner’s broadcast rights to sport events like basketball and baseball games, to help grow Fox’s sports footprint. Politicians in Germany have devised an ingenious solution to combat the threat of eavesdropping by American spies: playing classical music during their meetings. MPs who sit on the spying committee had become so concerned that US agents might listen in to their discussions that they had ordered classical music to be played, to drown out the discussions. On arrival at the meeting, The Suddetusche Zeitung reported that for "security reasons" MPs had to put their mobile phones and computers into a large metal box to ensure that they were not subjected to outside surveillance.
