Obama is driving the country to ruin
New York Post, by Michael Goodwin

If you think of the United States of America as a store, its recent decisions and scandals resemble a sale, perhaps a fire sale. Or maybe even a “Going Out of Business” sale. The list of dramatic markdowns is breathtaking. They include trading away five murderous terrorists for a likely Army deserter, an open invitation to tens of thousands of illegal immigrants to cross the Mexican border, and a decision to recognize the terrorist group Hamas as part of the Palestinian government. On the home front, environmental regulations will cost thousands of coal miners their jobs and drive up the cost of

As a practical matter, Zippy´s skin color and the RINO´s instinct for self-preservation and general moral cowardliness will combine to make impeachment extremely unlikely. I´m not sure our Republicans in Congress would do anything even with a super-majority in the Senate.

Sigh.

I have come to the conclusion that we need to end party loyalty. If these RINO´s are going to continue down this path - and they will. We need to throw them out too.

#3 is right even with a super majority the Republicans will not impeach obama. McConnell already said the first thing he would do is reinstate the filibuster turning control of the Senate back to the Democrats. Better to let obama continue his destruction of the country than to be called racists by the msm!

Agree #4. All incumbents should be voted out. Every incumbent should have a challenger in the primaries and we should support the challenger with money, even if the challenger is not perfect. Take a look at Mississippi. The 92 year old fossil still thinks he has something to offer after he screwed us all up with 30 + years in the senate? Are you kidding me?

In re #2, what can we do about it? Great question. A few ideas.

One thing we could try doing is for all of us to vote in our primary elections this summer and again this November. Something else we could try is voting in the next general election in 2016. A third thing we could try doing is voting for president in 2016.....regardless of who is our candidate. A fourth thing we could try is to get involved in our local politics and help our young people rise to the top as our future leaders. After all, they are the ones who will have to fix this mess.

What we need is the mother of all ground games in these elections.

The hell with public opinion.
The public wasn´t paying attention when they elected him. We have laws, mechanisms and congressional leaders who are sworn to carry out the law. Impeach his ass. Clinton should have been impeached and removed for several crimes that were not "just about sex" but he was given a pass and now 0bama is pushing that envelope even further. Although it chills the blood to think of it, 0bama will pave the way for something even worst if this garbage is allowed to continue.

Agree with this quote from the article, "The country simply cannot continue to remain the beacon of the free world if we are consumed by our own dysfunction and distrust".

If you have read any of the opinions from the Leftist/Liberal/Progressives you know that it is an incredibly dark battle. They bitterly cling to their media fed points that anyone who opposes Obama is out to destroy the country.

Liberalism is a mental disorder and we do not seem to have enough support to fight a winning battle against this pervasive disease.

I, for one, intend to start contacting my Dem Senators. I have never done so in the past because I felt like it would fall on deaf ears. (Mine are Menendez and Booker)

However, In light of what has transpired in the last few weeks, it is time that all of us start swamping our Dem Senators with emails and calls, demanding his impeachment. If enough of us scream loudly enough, it just might work.

For those who have been doing this, I apologize that I am late to the game.

Leaving aside occasional grumbling from party elders, he gets almost unanimous support from every Dem in Congress for every piece of his radical agenda.

Because they truly believe it´s good for America? Or because he is a black liberal?

Evidence shows that one of his most pernicious practices, using the IRS to punish conservative groups, grew out of congressional demands from liberals.

I don´t believe that. Obama already had it in mind. He didn´t needs "demands from liberals."

While that doesn’t excuse Obama’s role, it does demonstrate that his party has enabled and encouraged his improper conduct.

And they will be held to blame for America´s demise. I truly do not believe they understand that everyone gets hurt by what Obama is doing, not just Republicans.

The result is that the constitutional system of checks and balances has been gutted as Democrats act as an amen chorus for the executive branch.

Democrats are solely to blame for what is happening because they are more enamoured of Obama than they are of America. They view his actions as some sort of retribution for the bitter clingers who dare to vote Republicans into office.

Still, something has to give. And unless Democrats begin to put duty to country over loyalty to Obama, America as we know it is headed to a point of no return.

How to you roll back utter destruction? Do Democrats really want to see America as just another tyranny? Or do they want her to remain the beacon of freedom where people want to come to escape tyranny?

It´s up to them. They will be judged accordingly when terrorists roam our streets knocking on doors asking for our papers and demanding our private property.

In some form or other, we will no longer be a free nation if Obama is permitted to keep on doing what he is doing, against the laws of our land.

If he is actually impeached, which is unlikely, and removed from office entirely, which is more unlikely, we get Biden. And if we get Biden, the same people manipulating/controlling Obama will control Biden. Nothing fixed and blacks rioting in the streets. Our only hope Obi-Wan is to have a good turnout this November.

Movements do not occur from big events and get smaller.

They start with small events and grow bigger.

It will take active, determined, principled opposition. It must happen the same way, I´m afraid to say, that certain cities and states have declared themselves sanctuary cities, gay marriage zones, etc. In almost all cases they not only ignore the law but actively oppose it.

Well, kids, that´s what it will take from our side. Resistance must be exactly that. No grumbling about Obamacare while still implementing it. Stop. Now. Down tools. Walk away. Refuse to comply. Drilling permit held up for no good reason by EPA bureaucratic commies? Drill anyway.

Their hand must be forced. It might take secession - or brinksmanship related to secession. Obama and the DC press corps will either tut-tut or villify. So what? They will still have to explain how they caused such a showdown to arise.

Impeachment for what? Trying to achieve peace for our time? At worst the Dem party line for any/all scandal is "What difference does it make." From the American people the answer is clear, none.

The "Coexist Club" has won the political wars. Laws are meaningless, unless enforced as a hammer. The loyal opposition Republicans increasingly feckless. "Truth" is whatever is spun our way. People today are indeed "sheeple". Those who are not will either join the flock or go to heaven eventually. They didn´t replace themselves anyways.

We should start by realizing that today´s Dim party in NOT the part of the past. There was a time when at least some dims actually concerned about the country and it´s citizens. Those days are gone. In today´s world the only things that dims concern themselves with is becoming the only political party that controls the entire government and thus the country and it´s people. And if you look at what they do, the bills they pass, and the strategy they use, you will see that all they do is what ever they can do to buy votes from any and all. Impeachment? I don´t think that they really understand the word and what it means. The dims party, and Oozo, have become just like the old Communist party of Joe Stalin. And that´s just what they have been working so hard to achieve over that past decades.

It´s time for us remaining Americans that truly love our country and what is was supposed to be to lock and load. We still have a 2nd Amendment. It´s time to use it. I don´t think that anything else is going to work.

This ends badly no matter how it ends.

1. Obama and the democrats continue on this path, unabated, and drives the country into ruin.
2. Obama does something so egregious that even the democrats can no longer cover for him.
3. We continue on this trajectory until several states decided to call it quits, ask for a divorce and cede the Union.

It is my opinion that unless and until the electorate gets educated and or fed up and changes its ways, reversing course is impossible. The war is coming. And the only way to stop it if for the GOP to make its case, educate the people and win elections.

I see part of the problem. Mr. Goodwin called Senator Graham "respected"! If Lacy Lindsey Graham is a respected Senator the meaning of the Modern American Politician has sunk to a new low much less one who claims to be Republican. How can we expect Democrats to come to the rescue when the Republicans are part of the women and children first to the boats?

Obama´s second term is as disasterous as many of us knew it would be. We worried before 2012 that should this traitor be given another 4 years the United States of America would cease to be the country that it once was. If you think about what this country was in 2008 it is absolutely breathtaking how it has changed. The speed with which Obama and his minons are destroying this country is startling. So, what can we do about it? Not much except absolutely every person MUST vote in the 2014 elections for the most conservative candidates they can find. And EVERYONE must vote. None of this garbage that people didn´t like Romney because he wasn´t conservative enough and therefore didn´t show up at the polls. I am a Ted Cruz, Sarah Palin loving conservative but I knew that Romney would not destroy this country the way Zero is. And I voted for Romney and prayed that he would win.

In the very least we must get the Senate and keep the House and we should strive for a veto proof Congress. Strive. But vote, vote, vote. Perhaps then we can stem the tide of the destruction of our country.

Dittos, #1 et al.

#3: Pres. Bill Clinton was impeached by the House in 1988. He was not convicted, however, by the Senate.

#7: In our hearts, we knew AuH2O was right in MCMLXIV - we worked our tails off, but he was crushed in the general election. Some of the successes of the Reagan revolution started to be taken apart as soon as he left office, and most of the effects have pretty much dissipated. The Tea Parties (plural) shook things up in 2010 and handed the House gavel back to the Republicans. What has been the result? They are now being "trashed" by the people they put into power. Unfortunately, it will take much more than simply participating in the existing political process to turn things around. What is needed is a political "earthquake" to shake things up like the UKIP just did in GB. What is needed is a new political party to replace the Establishment "bulls" in both existing parties. Nothing short of that will stop what emits from these bulls.

#12: Remember that the House impeaches, and the Senate convicts. Contact your Representative first. Remember also that impeachment is a political action to be dealt with by Congress and not a legal action to be dealt with by the Judiciary. The Framers intended it to be so.

#20: Let´s exhaust the other remedies provided in the Constitution before we assert the 2nd Amendment. Remember all the bloodshed in the first Civil War. The whole purpose of the Constitution is to avoid that if at all possible.

#23: At least Biden is white, and can be criticized without the "racism" charge.

Land of the Free? Home of the Brave? No longer. Just look around. I’m gut-wrenchingly afraid the conflict that lies ahead of us may not end well.

“Obama is driving the country to ruin.” The simple, straightforward title of this article says it all. All one must do is look around and see how rapidly our freedoms are being taken from us. Remember those words of long ago? “We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America?” That was then. This is now. Obama? Reid? Pelosi? Kerry? Holder? Power-obsessed Communists such as these have been foisted upon us as our leaders. Our leaders? Not my leaders! What about you?

As a defender of the nation’s borders, President Obama is a hell of a pool player. The president enjoyed a game at a bar in Denver with Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper the other day, without the noir atmosphere of his furtive visits to pool halls with his grandfather as a kid, when he felt “the enticement of darkness and the click of the cue ball, and the jukebox flashing its red and green lights.” Obama’s game the other day was bright and cheery, as one would expect of a president who didn’t have any depressing visits to frightened ranchers, overwhelmed border agents or desperate migrants on his future itinerary.

Lives at the eatery are infamously long, and have been known to stretch as long as three hours wait. But Mr Obama did no waiting today, as he showed up at the restaurant, shook a few hands and made his way straight to the register to order more than $300 worth of meat. ´I know this is a long line. I feel real bad, but – I’m gonna

Bears, beer and horse heads: What exactly is going on with the leader of the free world? On a single day this week in Denver, President Obama scarfed down pizza and drinks with strangers, shot pool with Colorado’s governor and shook hands with a guy on the street wearing a horse mask. His top staffers are promoting these stops on Twitter with the hashtag #TheBearIsLoose — a term one of Obama’s aides coined in 2008 when the candidate would defy his schedule. More than five years into his presidency, Obama is trying to free himself from the constraints of office,

It’s true what they say about Michelle Obama. She has amazing arms. I saw this up close when she unfurled her bare right limb in front of me Thursday night, while the two of us were doing tapas at the jumping Barcelona on 14th Street NW. Clearly the first lady works out, clearly she moisturizes and clearly L’Oréal should hire her as its pitchwoman after she leaves 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. “Ma’am, you rock,” I wanted to tell her, even though I was seated a table away from her party of eight, which included White House chef Sam Kass, and was

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) yesterday described herself as a “lioness” when it comes to protecting children. She also called not only for the U.S. government to process minors arriving illegally from Central America on a “case-by-case basis" but for the government to “treat the Mexican kids the way they treat the non-contiguous country kids.” “Quite frankly, I would rather they treat the Mexican kids the way they treat the non-contiguous country kids,” Pelosi said at a Capitol Hill press conference on Thursday, claiming that sending these children back to their home countries would be like “sending them back into a

SAN DIEGO - The family that drew national attention when they were rescued at sea off their sailboat, Rebel Heart, in April is finally setting the record straight. Charlotte and Eric Kaufman and their two daughters were about 1,000 miles west of Cabo San Lucas in the Sea of Cortez when 1-year old Lyra became sick. That was when their adventure of a lifetime turned into a nightmare. It began with a fever, then a rash and then Lyra became lethargic. That was when the couple used their satellite cell phone to call a doctor. He advised them to begin treating Lyra

Angry Democrats in Nebraska said the Obama Outhouse float in the 4th of July parade may have been racist. So now Eric Holder is looking into it. Omaha.com reported: The U.S. Department of Justice has joined the discussions over a controversial float in the Norfolk Independence Day parade. The department sent a member of its Community Relations Service team, which gets involved in discrimination disputes, to a Thursday meeting about the issue. Also at the meeting were the NAACP, the Norfolk mayor and The Independent Order of Odd Fellows. The Odd Fellows organized the parade. One of the floats included a zombie-like mannequin standing near

Glenn Beck has set up Mercury One Children and Family Border Relief Fund to help illegals coming into the United States. He’s already raised $600,000. Beck stated that Obama would not have to step in and ask for $3.7 billion if private charities would pick up the slack and give to the swarm of illegals crossing the border. Is he kidding? Do we really need more churches and non-profits enabling this blatant attack on America? Rich people and liberal elite billionaires have no skin in the game when it comes to the consequences of illegal immigration so what do they care? It’s the working class and middle class who will take the hit.

BOSTON — Comedian Bill Cosby and his wife Camille are supporting protesters marching across Massachusetts in opposition to Kinder Morgan’s proposed natural gas pipeline. The couple, who own hundreds of acres of protected land in Shelburne Falls, about 100 miles west of Boston, have been opposed to the pipeline since the company notified them last winter of plans to survey their land. Through a spokesman, the couple said it was “astounding” that New England’s six governors support the proposal, which they said shows “disrespect for humans, flora and fauna.” Supporters of the $3.75 billion Northeast Pipeline Extension Project say it will provide

The facts are simple. The IRS systematically targeted conservative and Tea Party groups after their activism proved decisive in the 2010 midterm elections—Obama’s famous “shellacking.” The effects of this targeting were widespread. Some Tea Party groups were neutered in the months before the 2012 presidential election. Few of the explanations or justifications of this targeting provided by IRS leaders and Obama administration officials have held up. IRS officials at first denied that any targeting had taken place. That was false. They later claimed that the targeting had involved only low-level employees in the Cincinnati office. That was false. They argued
