White House Claim Bergdahl´s Life was
in Danger Receives Bipartisan Rejection

Breitbart´s InstaBlog, by John Sexton

Original Article

Posted By:LittleHoodedMonk, 6/6/2014 5:21:44 PM

Both Democrats and Republicans have rejected an excuse offered by the White House for why they were unable to inform Congress of the Bergdahl prisoner swap. The White House has offered several excuses for why it failed to notify Congress 30 days in advance as required by law. In a briefing for Senators Wednesday, the White House claimed Bergdahl´s life was in danger if word of the swap leaked to the media. The AP was first to publish word of the threat to Bergdahl´s life on Thursday. Their initial story was only a few paragraphs and attributed the claim to three unnamed "congressional officials."

Comments:
In 0bama´s defense, these may be dRATS trying to get off his sinking Titanic. We know how well that went. However, this is all wasteless speculation unless 0bama is dragged (off golf course during special session) to bring him up on impeachment & removal charges.

BTW, as an aside, I just heard (for the second time in Dallas) an advertisement for Qatar Airways, you know, the country that did deal with 0bama & terrorist. What´s that "suddenly" all about?

As others have asked, why does this administration have the need to lie at the beginning of every new issue. It´s so easy to tell the truth especially when the people will accept that truth. It´s always a cover up and they continue to show themselves as fools and liars. Only the hard left believes anything the white house says any more. It´s time to take action and start impeachment procedures. There are so many lies and so little time.

Obama says the he intends to unilaterally stop the Afghan war on a date certain, the Taliban apparently has no intention of going along with Obama´s plan and intends to keep fighting Americans as long as they are in that Islamic land. Every American soldier´s life is in danger from the moment they arrive in Afghanistan.

Obama is on a mission to close the detention facility at Guantanamo Bay, to do that he has to get rid of the detainees. Clearly Obama used the Bergdahl situation as a pretext to release five of the highest ranking Taliban in Guantanamo. There is a big risk in doing that for Obama, what if the Taliban now goes out and captures a couple of Americans and then makes demands? If that happens it is going to make Obama look really bad.

Echoes of a Strongman in Baghdad Today

Baghdad - The ghost of Saddam Hussein still hangs over Iraq like a cloud stalking a sunny day; it doesn’t always cover the sun, but it never quite goes away. Prime Minister Nuri Kamal al-Maliki’s slide into strongman territory in the years since American troops left has been well documented. His government and security forces have harassed Sunni Arabs with baseless arrests, or by keeping them in jail beyond their mandated terms. And for Sunni militants caught by the security forces, summary execution has become increasingly common. Even as his Shiite-dominated government has been condemned for abusing Sunnis, however,

A conservative group is welcoming New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie to Iowa this week by accusing him of supporting “liberal” judges in the Garden State — as it looks to raise questions about whether conservatives can trust the Republican to ahead of a possible 2016 presidential run. The Judicial Crisis Network (JCN) said it was spending $75,000 on two online ads — one 15 seconds long and another 90 seconds — that say Mr. Christie has missed a number of chances to change the “liberal” makeup of the New Jersey Supreme Court and has worked with Democrats. “Over and over, Chris Christie said he would fix it, remake the court

Sen. California is embarking on a first-of-its-kind attempt to improve the academic lives of foster youth by giving schools more money to meet their special learning and emotional needs and holding educators and administrators accountable. But first, officials have to figure out how many school-age foster children they have and where they are enrolled in a state that´s home to nearly one-fifth of the nation´s foster children. Until now, no state has attempted to identify every foster child in its public schools or to systematically track their progress, much less funnel funds toward those students or require school districts to show they are spending

Westminster, MD - As news spread this weekend that undocumented immigrant children might soon live in a former military facility in this town, graffiti appeared on the one-story brick building: “No illeagles here. No undocumented Democrats.” Aside from the misspelling — which prompted some snickering about sick birds of prey as a photo circulated on Facebook on Sunday — the scrawled message was a manifestation of the bitter national debate over how the government should treat these undocumented children. Tens of thousands of unaccompanied Central American children have arrived on the southwest border

Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin first made her case for the impeachment of President Barack Obama here. She next explained her argument at FoxNews.com. Last week I explained in a Think Tank post why I thought Ms. Palin’s idea is a very bad one. I want to return to Ms. Palin’s recommendation in order to make a broader point about conservatism. Ms. Palin is not only championing the impeachment of President Obama; she also was a cheerleader for the tactic that led to the government shutdown last October. That turned out to be a disaster for the GOP and conservatism, and it achieved nothing useful.
