Taliban prisoner swap was ILLEGAL claims
GOP as former federal prosecutor says
it could lead to Obama´s impeachment

Daily Mail [UK], by David Martosko

Barack Obama broke a federal law that he signed just six months ago when he authorized the release of five high-ranking Taliban terror targets from the Guantanamo Bay detention center in exchange for the return of U.S. Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, senior congressional Republicans claimed today. And the president may also have written a new chapter in the case for his own impeachment, according to a former federal prosecutor who helped bring the 1993 World Trade Center bombers to justice. ´The return of senior terrorists to the Taliban [is] ... a "high crime and misdemeanor",´ author Andrew C. McCarthy told MailOnline. His book

Comments:
It may be a "high crime and misdemeanor" for any other president, but Barack Hussein Obama is protected by the Praetorian Guard in the media. If anyone deserves to be impeached Obama does. Our Founding Fathers must have spun completely out of their graves.

I forgot to add that this article is shocking in that a White House "official" said they were "caught flatfooted by the intensity of the public outrage." These delusional, incompetent morons actually thought it would be compared to the 1981 release of the Iran hostages. It is truly stunning to behold their ignorance and willful blindness to reality. Between the lawlessness of Obama and the incompetence of his staff we are in horrific state of affairs.

Yes, it was illegal. It was also arrogant and disrespectful to Congress. What else is new? Impeachment hearings would merely drive the Democrats to the polls, especially African Americans. We need to keep focused on the game on the field and forget the fight in the stands. The object now is to win the Senate. Without the Senate, impeachment would be meaningless anyway, as proved by the guy who held private Oval Office meetings under his desk.

The problem with the GOP and any mousy dRATS that understand and could do something about this, is like most cowards, waiting for someone to lead their pack (and take the blame should they switch back to gutless). 0bama has lived on this strategy for six years now, so unless the bloodletting and killing begins soon on American soil, the midterms will pass with PIAPS consolidating her power grab for the White House in 2016.

NOTHING will lead to the One´s impeachment. He is protected by his color. Although he is not black (African father, white mother, no slaves in his ancestry), he is universally recognized as black. As such, he is an Affirmative Action hire, and thus cannot be fired.
Just because we traded five high-value Taliban leaders for one deserter/traitor, this is no problem.
Just because this was done to take the heat off the VA crisis, this is no problem.
The Marxist media still love Zero.
He has the backing of the Senate. He has the backing of Bonior. He cannot be removed for office for any offense.

The surge of illegal aliens–and in particular unaccompanied minors from Central America–across the border in Texas has started a debate in which more than immigration reform seems to be stake. While most conservatives are decrying the situation as the result of President Obama’s mistakes, some liberals are focusing on what they believe is the lack of compassion for the children that is being forgotten amid the politics. But as the plight of these desperate kids becomes publicized, Americans are being asked to make a choice between their charitable instincts and the rule of law. That’s the conceit of a good deal

"Every political cause has a narrative. And every narrative has a plot." Over lunch in Georgetown last month, a top Democratic spokesman, somebody who works intimately with both the White House and Hillary Rodham Clinton´s team, wanted me to understand his frustration with President Obama. He said every plot has a hero. And every hero leaps overwhelming obstacles to accomplish a goal. "Who´s the hero in the White House narrative?" the Democrat asked. I shrugged; "Barack Obama." The First Lady of these United States has declared war on Chick-fil-A. It seems the home of plump juicy breasts and hot buttered buns has run afoul of the new Smart Snacks in School program. The program is a component of Mrs. Obama’s Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010. The new government regulations require snack items served in public schools to have less than two hundred calories. That includes vending machines, lunch rooms and other campus food venues. And that’s really bad news for kids at South Carolina’s Socastee High School. They’ve just learned they will no longer be allowed to buy Chick-fil-A

On October, 2011, amid a lethargic economic recovery, President Barack Obama – a man who prided himself on ending wars, not starting them – touted his foreign policy successes. Beyond the successful raid that resulted in the death of Osama bin Laden, Obama noted that he had successfully solved two thorny international puzzles; ending the war in Iraq and successfully prosecuting a brief campaign to stem the violence in Libya. In a speech in the White House, the president made the case for his own competency within an announcement regarding the beginning of the full withdrawal of American troops from the
