Bowe Bergdahl:
a darker story behind the release
of America´s last prisoner of war

Telegraph [UK], by Raf Sanchez

Original Article

Posted By:Attercliffe, 6/1/2014 5:02:25 PM

The little mountain town of Hailey in the rural state of Idaho is readying a hero´s welcome. Its single shopping street is lined with bright yellow balloons and signs to greet Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl when he finally returns home after five long years as America´s only prisoner of war in Afghanistan. [Snip] But behind the scenes of small town celebration is a darker and more complicated story about a young soldier who allegedly abandoned his post after growing disillusioned with America´s wars and the potentially illegal deal struck by the White House to free him.

And, once again: The Taliban never held Bergdahl:

...."Contrary to press reports, the Afghan Taliban – aka the Quetta Shura -never had their hands on Sgt. Bergdahl. He was always under the control of the Haqqani network…..
LOTS more at:

The Haqqanis are an Al Qaida affiliate, have been since the beginning.

0bama ´negotiated´ not with the ´nice guy Taliban´ but with Al Qaida brothers on this deal....

After calling off the early search and rescue mission, himself, in 2009.

From Allen West:

"Take a look at this tweet from released Army SGT Bowe Bergdahl’s father — which has since disappeared from his account.

"Folks, this is either a very bad case of Stockholm Syndrome or something far more nefarious is at stake. Regardless, there is more to this than meets the eye of Obama making a unilateral decision and announcement on a Saturday — when he believes no one is watching.

"This is not just going to slip away and we’re not going to get caught up in the emotion of Bergdahl’s release. He wasn’t “captured” — he deserted his assigned post."

As we learn more this is looking like another big Obama mistake.

But it drove the VA scandal and his other problems out of the Sunday news and let Obama look like a hero watching out for our boys in the military. Mission accomplished!

The MSM will try to bury any downside and soon will be saying "Dude, that was like two weeks ago!"

Oh yes of course spin the story to blame Bowe for the future acts of terrorists.
Don´t welcome a young American home because his return may cause a terror attack.
McCain has no standing to point a finger at this young man after all his alleged capture and behavior as a POW.
How can you yell lies about everything else and accept the alleged dark story.
He sure hasn´t been able to contact anyone to verify how he was captured has he?
Perhaps some brave armchair hero safe at home these years will offer to take his place as POW and wash away the threats.
Use Obama´s illegal action to remove him from office.

#2... Allen West, as much as I like and admire him, doesn´t quite understand the situation. It can´t be ´Stockholm Syndrome´, because the guy was an enemy sympathizer and an America Hater before he deserted. In fact, before he even enlisted.

And PLEASE, can someone answer me this:

How does an AWOL / Deserter / Enemy collaborator, a Private First Class when he abandoned his post, come out of ´captivity´ a Sergeant?

#7 In my day, it didn´t happen automatically... You still had to go through a promotion board. Especially when going from enlisted to NCO. They could make it retroactive, but not automatic.

TIG and TIS didn´t used to be the only things that got you promoted. Maybe in the New Modern Army does things differently.

For #4: John McCain was shot down over North Vietnam, captured, and held prisoner for 5 1/2 years. There is nothing "alleged" about it. He was severely injured and nearly died from lack of medical attention. After about one year he was offered early release because he is an Admiral´s son. He refused, because he is an Admiral´s son and because the Code of Conduct says POWs go home in order of capture. No one jumps the line. Because he was an Admiral´s son he also got special attention from the North Vietnam torturers and to this day has odd posture because of his dislocated shoulders. Regardless of what you may think of his politics, there is no credible evidence to suggest that McCain´s conduct as a POW was anything less than courageous. Best, when you don´t know what you are talking about, to shut the hell up.

For #5: Bergdahl´s status was originally classified as "unknown" and later changed to "missing-captured". He has never been charged with desertion. Servicemen who are in POW status are routinely promoted at their normal time.

Obama had to act quickly because Bergdahl´s health was an issue. How did the administration know that Bergdahl was in ill health? How long has the administration being making deals with the Taliban/al Quaida
and why is it happening now? Nothing this administration does is done quickly unless it has political repercussions.

Let´s see, Obama has a political problem because vets are treated like garbage when ill. So...he "rescues" a soldier in supposed ill health, breaking all the rules to do so.

This is nothing but a talking point to respond to the VA. Plus he clears 5 more out of Gitmo, which he wanted to do anyway.
