The White House Is Exhausted

Day 1,956 of his presidency was not too kind to President Obama. Having to announce within a four-hour span that he had lost both an embattled Cabinet secretary and his chief spokesman, Obama looked Friday like a man gamely trying to get a stalled administration back on track. He entered the week still stuck with low approval ratings and facing fierce criticism of his policies both at home and abroad. On Wednesday, he tried to chart a new course internationally with a West Point speech setting out a new foreign policy. On Thursday, he dealt with widespread criticism of the speech.

The official WH calendar shows that Obama´s day usually begins around 11am with a briefing, followed by lunch with Biden.
Maybe he should try being at his desk by 8am like most working people?

He´s exhausted?!!!! America is exhausted. This man is president in name only. When he waltzes out the WH door he will be a multi-millionaire with more millions to make. He has left us unemployed, poorer, less secure on the world stage, laughed at, less respected, destroyed our healthcare system, spied on us, overrun with illegal aliens, we are leaderless and ungoverned. His total presidency can be summed up in two words, control and money. Where is our leader waiting to return us to that shinning city on the hill? If hillary is elected she will finish the job that obama started. Destroying America. The pain and suffering this administration has foisted upon the American public is a sin. OK, I will get off my soapbox now. But the lonesome George story of obama wanting to take a walk and then this article has really set me off.

Welcome to the real world Mr. President. Most of your predecessors had experienced this kind of pressure by day 19, not day 1956. I suggest a junket, a joint, and a round of golf. You´ll feel better then.

This article is hilarious. The writer is attempting to define obama within the boundaries of a real president.

Little barry climbed into the starting blocks in 2008 with no spikes in his track shoes. When the starter´s pistol was fired by ValJar, he began walking backwards and has been doing it for six years, a victim of his own ideology and stupidity.

#5 and #6 are right on. He´s had a press that not only supports him, but has run interference for him. Obama has not led nor has he managed, he has simply been playing politics and campaigning his entire presidency. Half the American people deserve the poor situation they find themselves in, after all they voted for this fraud TWICE. The rest of us don´t deserve it, but are exhausted by this empty suit and his corrupt Admin.

The author tries to justify Obama´s miserable performance by saying his is just the same as all the other 2-term presidents. Sorry. Obama´s miserable 6 1/2 year failure is one-of-a-kind. It is not limited to his second term.

What´s interesting is that the MSM still has 2.5 more years to run interference for him. Back when they could tell us that he was super-smart and everything was Bush´s fault, it was easier. Now, even the New York Times, CNN and Chris Matthews are catching on. Now, even his masterful speeches don´t cut the mustard. One is reminded of Humpty Dumpty.

I don´t know if there is anyone I know who is not exhausted - sometimes even four year old kids seem exhausted.

Remember when Reagan said to: "Accentuate the positive and eliminate the negative." Sometimes it is hard to find the positive to accentuate - just came back from market where there was a man sitting at a table asking people to sign a paper to raise the minimum wage - again. I told him that I wanted a country where we still had a middle class. He laughed at me.

Carney submitted his ´resignation´ on the same day as Shinseki to try to get the voters to think about something other than the VA scandal. Guess what? It didn´t work. Most voters don´t care who gets up before the reporters and tells lie after lie day after day but they do care about our veterans. This white house never learns.

When one does something poorly or dishonestly, the action becomes a drudgery, something that wears one down. When one does something for which one has been well prepared and does it right, the action seems effortless. This applies to most of life´s actions.

I frequently use references to golf as analogies to other activities. When a player is on his game, he sees the target and instinctively knows how to get the ball to it, like Zen. For instance, if he has to curve the shot, or hit it high or low, he knows what that shot feels like, having practiced it multitudes of times, and seeks only the proper sensations, knowing that a swing that feels right normally produces the desired result. It´s not even a conscious effort; he just lets it happen and tries not to let his mind or body interfere. He´s conscious only of his objective, as it should be.

When he´s off his game, everything is a struggle as the mind strains to make the body obey, and fails. Instead of confidence, he feels fear and doubt, which are contagious and will infect all areas of life.

Obama, who has done nothing but campaign all the livelong day, cannot govern or lead. Now that his inertia, lack of imagination, and the inflexibility of his ideology have finally caught up with him, it´s panic time, and he´s being revealed as the failure he was born and rasied to become. It´s a shame anyone ever told him he was smart or worthy, ´cos he ain´t.

If he were a republican he would have been so buried in negative press that he would have gotten the point and not run for a second term. Inside the LSM bubble he believed that he was actually capable of doing the job. Now, after a host of scandals the LSM has finally awakened and Fauxbama feels the heat. It´s exhausting to fail (and being surrounded by ninnies and lickspittles doesn´t help).

This article should have come with a cah-cah alert. If it was designed to jin up sympathy for O, it failed miserably.

And he is at a point in his administration when his agenda seems tired and many of his appointees are exhausted.

His agenda is "tired"? It´s not tired, it´s fatal. As for his appointees being "exhausted", what from? I guess lying incessantly can be tiring but as for real work, what?

In that regard, he is no different than every second-term president since World War II. For all of them, the sixth year was troubled and filled with administration scandals, political challenges and executive turnover.

Yes, he IS different from every second-term president in that he is the only one who wanted to "fundamentally remake America". The others loved our country.

In making his announcements on Shinseki and Carney, the president did all the things expected of him in the circumstances, projecting determination and even smiling bravely.

"Bravely" is not a word I would associate with Obama. How about "apathetically"?

But what he didn´t do was signal convincingly that he knows how to provide a way forward for the 966 days he has left in the White House.

He couldn´t provide a way during the first 1956 days, either. He relied on others to do it while he fiddled and tried to avoid Michelle.

How he responds now will determine whether this week is regarded as a low point or a critical turning point for his presidency.

How about fundamentally remaking Obama´s presidency by paralyzing it so no more damage gets done and maybe some damage gets undone?

Golf can be exhausting. Some of the golf carts have batteries designed by his Green Energy flunkies and they can die in the middle of a game. This requires him to walk from hole to hole which could mess up the crease in his pants. And the holes on the greens in Kenya were much wider. And those pesky Republicans keep removing the magnets from the bottom of the cups. He needs to get with a kindred spirit like Toronto Mayor Bob Ford or ex Washington Mayor Marion Barry and chill out. We certainly don´t want to have to call Kenya and ask for a fresh Community Organizer.

The five sworn enemies of the United States are now in the Gulf state of Qatar, where they are free to come and go as they like, beyond the watch of American agents. In just one year, they will be free to return to Afghanistan to fight there and stage terror attacks far beyond that country’s borders.

Mr. McCain, the highest-profile Republican of the U.S. Senate’s “Gang of Eight” that came up with amnesty as the solution to the immigration crisis — and it truly is a crisis — is finally taking a hard line against President Obama for his encouraging the tidal wave of illegal aliens swamping the southwestern border. “There has to be a halt to this,” Mr. McCain thundered Sunday on CNN. “That’s what we want, and the best way to do that is for planeloads of these young people to be returning to their country of origin

It had to come sometime, and it came in one very bad week for the Democrats: that the many big problems with Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama finally grew too great for the press to ignore. Obama in his own different way is heading towards Nixon-like levels of weirdness, as, beaten down by the failures regarding his ventures, he appears to have quit his own job. A.B. Stoddard of the Hill says in effect he has stopped being president and chooses to live in a world of his own, shutting out the problems that have become overwhelming, giving dinners where he talks

The headline in the Washington Post on June 4 was clear: Rove-backed American Crossroads won’t get involved in Cochran runoff Said the Post story the day after Tea Party favorite Chris McDaniel had defeated six-term Mississippi GOP Senator Thad Cochran in the first round of the state’s GOP primary: American Crossroads, a GOP establishment organization, has decided to shift its political focus almost entirely to the general election and will not be spending money in the likely runoff election to decide the Mississippi Senate nomination that was virtually deadlocked after Tuesday night. Senate Budget Committee ranking member Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) has warned all of his colleagues in Congress that President Barack Obama’s new immigration strategy—his plans to legalize millions of illegal alien adults through executive power—could destroy America as we know it. “I write to inform you of a development that threatens the foundation of our constitutional Republic,” Sessions, Congress’s top immigration hawk, wrote in a letter that was hand-delivered to all 535 members of Congress on Monday and provided exclusively to Breitbart News. Sessions cites a recent report from the National Journal, in which reporter Major Garrett detailed how, despite the ongoing

Attorney General Eric Holder encouraged Americans not to forget race while working for justice and equality in their country. “As it stands, our society is not yet color blind -- nor should it be -- given the disparities that still afflict and divide us.” Holder explained, “We must be color brave, and we must never forget that all are made better and more prosperous if all are given equal opportunities.” Holder made his remarks during a speech at Howard University on Tuesday for the 50th Anniversary Celebration of the Civil Rights Act. “We must take into account not only the
