Obama: I just want to take

New York Post, by Geoff Earle

WASHINGTON — Feeling the weight of the world on his shoulders, a weary President Obama says his fondest dream is getting a chance to take a stroll by himself away from the White House. Obama — who rides in motorcades, jets on Air Force One and is under constant guard — says he’d take a solo hike across the National Mall, if only the Secret Service would give him the chance. “I would go take a walk,” the president said Friday on “Live with Kelly and Michael” when asked the one thing he’d like to do if only he could. “I would just

Please do take your walk in DC. Go to the "hood" and see what you democrats have reaped. If you don´t want to walk in DC, come to Houston and walk down MLK Blvd. You will get an education on how well your Utopian fantasies have worked on "your brothers".

If Obama is expressing a true feeling and not trying to build sympathy and support, then this statement sounds like a call for help--that´s what popped into my mind the second I saw the header. Granted, I´m not a degreed psychologist, just an old geezette who´s seen a lot in politics and life. The few little gray cells left tell me Obama is near (if not on) the brink of breakdown. He´s terrified, he has no idea what to do, he feels he can´t do anything right, everybody is against him--even his uber-loyal press secretary leaves so he can "spend more time with his family." See the video of The Farewell Hug at http://www.lucianne.com/thread/?artnum=786226

Scrutinize O´s facial expression, never mind the body language. Does it say a major support has crumbled, what the hell do I do now?

Michelle (whom he describes as "management" while he´s "labor") seems to be carving a post-White House niche which excludes her husband. If it´s true that divorce papers were ready at one point in pre-White House days, then a divorce might have been postponed, not cancelled. Another IF--if a divorce will happen at some point that looming bombshell would substantially add to the fireworks now sputtering in Obama´s psyche.

This isn´t meant to make excuses for or to sympathize with Obama. It´s to point out that if my instincts are right, we have a serious problem in the near term: Obama´s center might not hold for much longer. What happens if he has a breakdown? Might be presented as a serious illness requiring hospitalization. Don´t know. Mind doesn´t want to go there.

Where does your mind go? Does any of the above coincide with what your own little gray cells have produced? What should we prepare for?

Hussein once famously proclaimed "Turns out, I´m pretty good at it." Good at what? Reading a TelePrompTer? Golfing? Taking vacations? Speaking to college students or donors who pay $30,000 a plate to sit in his presence? Violating the Constitution? Writing useless Executive Orders? Tell me, please. Nothing would make me happier than to see this fraud melt down and be run out of office forever.

Poster #14 is on to something. A person who is depressed will often feel overwhelmed and want to escape. But given his spectacular incompetence and his penchant for inaction, how is that no one, no one in the WH has leaked any signs of this dysfunction? I realize that so many top level staffers are also incompetents, but if one of them can "inadvertently" leak the name of a CIA chief of station, how is it that no other WH gossip gets out? Or is the LSM getting it and holding it under wraps? That just doesn´t seem likely anymore.

I am reminded that B.0. came to the WH with an incredibly small circle of acquaintances - his life was basically circumscribed by Chicago politics. He didn´t have associates in business or any other realm, and even his academic consorts were part of that small Chicago political circle. So I suppose the pool for choosing staffers is also small. Either ValJar has such a tight noose around everyone, or they are all so deluded by the haloed head of Dear Leader, or so incredibly and incompetent, that they don´t recognize signs of trouble. But I remember that even the Secret Service leaked stories about BC. This deep level of secrecy is beyond troubling.

Seventeen percent of people in the United States say immigration is the nation’s top problem, according to a Gallup poll released Wednesday. That´s up from 5 percent in June, and is the highest number Gallup has registered for immigration since 2006, when 15 percent said it was the nation´s most pressing problem. Gallup’s new survey found immigration is virtually tied with “dissatisfaction with government” as the nation´s top problem. The economy and unemployment rank below immigration and “dissatisfaction with government" as top problems, the new poll found. Only 8 percent now rate healthcare as the top problem, down from 16 percent in January, when

The headlines last week were all about the potential windfall: A second appraisal of works in the Detroit Institute of Arts´ collection had come in and the number was several orders of magnitude larger than the first. The city needs a valuation because the museum´s collection is in play under the current municipal bankruptcy proceeding. Back in December, Christie´s had come in with $454 million to $867 million, that low-high figure the equivalent of an auction "estimate" ranging between a number below which a work won´t sell and another representing its likely maximum hammer price. How would you feel if someone promised to give you a car, and then reneged on that pledge? That’s how all Americans should feel when it comes to ObamaCare -- because Barack Obama’s failed and discredited campaign promise to lower health insurance premiums has cost the average American family an amount equal to the price of many new cars. During his 2008 campaign, one of then-Senator Obama’s most audacious promises was that his health plan would reduce premiums by $2,500 for the average family. His repeatedly made his pledge on videotape; you can view those promises here. But health insurance premiums

The Congressional Budget Office’s (CBO) latest report says that although the federal deficit this year is the lowest of the Obama era, in the near future, it is expected to skyrocket to World War II heights. The years between 2009 and 2012 saw the largest recorded federal government deficits since 1946, based on percentage of the economy. And although the White House also reported that the deficit this year is the lowest of the Obama administration, there is little reason for celebration. Millennial politics is simple, really. Young people support big government, unless it costs any more money. They´re for smaller government, unless budget cuts scratch a program they´ve heard of. They´d like Washington to fix everything, just so long as it doesn´t run anything. That´s all from a new Reason Foundation poll surveying 2,000 young adults between the ages of 18 and 29. Millennials´ political views are, at best, in a stage of constant metamorphosis and, at worst, "totally incoherent," as Dylan Matthews puts it. It´s not just the Reason Foundation. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) has warned all of his colleagues in Congress that President Barack Obama’s new immigration strategy—his plans to legalize millions of illegal alien adults through executive power—could destroy America as we know it. “I write to inform you of a development that threatens the foundation of our constitutional Republic,” Sessions, Congress’s top immigration hawk, wrote in a letter that was hand-delivered to all 535 members of Congress on Monday and provided exclusively to Breitbart News. Attorney General Eric Holder encouraged Americans not to forget race while working for justice and equality in their country. “As it stands, our society is not yet color blind -- nor should it be -- given the disparities that still afflict and divide us.” Holder explained, “We must be color brave, and we must never forget that all are made better and more prosperous if all are given equal opportunities.” Holder made his remarks during a speech at Howard University on Tuesday for the 50th Anniversary Celebration of the Civil Rights Act. “We must take into account not only the

With Bill on the skids and his wife’s future prospects on the line, it was necessary for the pubic to see the president being punished, said Weekly Standard online editor Daniel Halper in his new book, “Clinton, Inc.: The Audacious Rebuilding of a Political Machine.” “They understood that

In his message to the “Mexico/Holy See Colloquium on Migration and Development,” Pope Francis characterized the tens of thousands of illegal immigrants that have crossed the U.S. southern border as a product of globalization, suggesting that the phenomenon is happening worldwide. Francis proclaimed, “Despite the large influx of migrants present in all continents and in almost all countries, migration is still seen as an emergency, or as a circumstantial and sporadic fact, while instead it has now become a hallmark of our society and a challenge.” Emmer McCarthy for Vatican Radio said Francis expressed his concern for “the tens of thousands of

President Obama is known for being competitive on the basketball court, but he´s also apparently a cutthroat pool player. Gov. John Hickenlooper, D-Colo., told reporters at the National Governors Association meeting on Sunday that the president surprised him by beat him in two consecutive games. To add insult to injury, the two were playing at the Wynkoop Brewing Company, a bar that Hickenlooper co-founded. "You know I´ll tell ya -- the man is a shark," Hickenlooper told reporters, Time reports. "I was up a few balls. I felt pretty good. I was actually wondering whether how hard should I --
