Amazing America´ finale: Meet a kinder,

The Sportsman Channel´s 12-episode run of "Amazing America with Sarah Palin" wrapped up Thursday night with a season finale that finally satisfied my desire for more Sarah. A lot of times people will say to me: "Maia, between ´Sarah Palin´s Alaska,´ ´Dancing With the Stars´ and ´Amazing America,´ you´ve watched literally tens of hours of reality television featuring the Palin family. What do you really think about all of it?" (Snip) She would be Sarah Palin, Engaging TV Personality, beloved by all.

Sarah Palin has always been a kind and gentle person. The MSM created the "harridan" Sarah Palin.

I think Mrs. Palin and her fans will like this piece. Her dad sounds like a person I would appreciate getting to know and apparently another season of this show is in the works. Well done!

Our Nation desperately needs someone like Sarah to do to DC what she did to Alaskan politics in 2.5 short years.

Governor Palin has always been a kind and gentle woman who is strong and tough when she needs to be. That, and the grace of God, is why she accomplished what she did for Alaska, as governor, and why she has become the successful woman she is today despite the forceful attempts to destroy her.

Looking back - that moment at the Republican Convention when her teleprompter failed (but Sarah Palin did not) was a harbinger of how she would handle the hurdles and roadblocks to come.

I had heard very little about Governor Palin when she came onto the national scene as John McCain´s choice for VP. I watched her campaign and came to like and respect her. But my admiration for her began and grew commensurate with the undeserved and reprehensible attacks against her and her family. Those attacks, as much as anything else, have shown the depth of decency in Sarah Palin. That she has retained her kindness and gentleness through it all is testament to her admirable strength of character. May God continue to bless her and her family.

WASHINGTON — U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren, whose stumping for the “hammered” middle class has won fanatical progressive support, clearly has ambitions far beyond Congress’ upper chamber, her demurring about a 2016 presidential bid notwithstanding. She now has a perfect opportunity to boost her profile and expand her own fan base beyond her party’s left wing. All she has to do is get on board the Hillary train. Because odd as it may seem, Hillary Clinton needs Liz Warren. And Liz Warren needs Hillary Clinton. Just days into her unofficial first campaign blitz — thinly disguised as a book tour — Hillary’s ham-handed attempts

House Speaker Robert DeLeo’s new proposal to reduce gun violence has barely emerged with a favorable report from a legislative committee, foreshadowing a potentially turbulent reception in the full House and Senate. (SNIP) The bill (H 4121) has been on the fast track since DeLeo filed it on May 27. The close vote follows a lengthy committee hearing last Tuesday, when supporters said the bill will curb gun violence and opponents countered that the bill unfairly imposes hardships on legal gun owners, while not focusing enough on illegal gun owners. The bill, created with the aid of a task force

Neighbors of a man accused of misleading investigators after the Marathon bombings described a surreal scene this morning at his Quincy apartment — with FBI agents surrounding the building with their guns drawn before hauling off Khairullozhon Matanov in handcuffs. Leslie Aiello, 49, said she was on her couch about 5:30 a.m. when she heard, “We have a warrant out for your arrest,” followed by three loud bangs — what she believes was FBI agents using a battering ram at Matanov’s first-floor apartment where he lived on Common Street for about a year. The Benghazi investigation could shred the last threads of Secretary of State John Kerry’s credibility. After nonstop major foreign policy blunders with Israeli/Palestinian negotiations, Syria, Ukraine and Iran — just to name a few — his alleged collusion in the withholding of smoking-gun emails tying the White House to the Benghazi ?cover-up could be the final nail in his political coffin. It took a lawsuit by the nonprofit Judicial Watch to extract those key emails showing the White House purposely misled the American people about the terrorist attacks just weeks before the 2012 election. In a report issued this week, a military panel says the United States is making a big mistake in failing to join with other nations in the United Nations Convention of the Law of the Seas, losing out on opportunities to manage the Arctic and negotiate future disputes. It warns that climate-related problems, like droughts and food shortages, are already exacerbating regional and international conflicts. Military Advisory Board members are 16 retired generals and admirals from the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force and

Grade-school math. As schools around the U.S. implement national Common Core learning standards, parents trying to help their kids with math homework say that adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing has become as complicated as calculus. They´re stumped by unfamiliar terms like "rectangular array" and "area model." They wrestle with division that requires the use of squares, slashes and dots. They rage over impenetrable word problems.

Barack Obama may have lost a few approval rating points with this move. I saw this up close when she unfurled her bare right limb in front of me Thursday night, while the two of us were doing tapas at the jumping Barcelona on 14th Street NW. Glenn Beck has set up Mercury One Children and Family Border Relief Fund to help illegals coming into the United States. He’s already raised $600,000. Beck stated that Obama would not have to step in and ask for $3.7 billion if private charities would pick up the slack and give to the swarm of illegals crossing the border. Is he kidding? Do we really need more churches and non-profits enabling this blatant attack on America? Rich people and liberal elite billionaires have no skin in the game when it comes to the consequences of illegal immigration so what do they care? The facts are simple. The IRS systematically targeted conservative and Tea Party groups after their activism proved decisive in the 2010 midterm elections—Obama’s famous “shellacking.” The effects of this targeting were widespread. Some Tea Party groups were neutered in the months before the 2012 presidential election. Few of the explanations or justifications of this targeting provided by IRS leaders and Obama administration officials have held up. IRS officials at first denied that any targeting had taken place. That was false. They later claimed that the targeting had involved only low-level employees in the Cincinnati office. That was false. They argued
