Police: Taste of Cincinnati was ´general mayhem´

It was a "kind of general mayhem." That’s how Central Business District commander Capt. Paul Broxterman is describing several incidents at last weekend’s Taste of Cincinnati event, which stretched from Vine to Broadway streets downtown... Hamilton County Prosecutor Joe Deters´ son was a victim of an assault at the festival, Broxterman said.

Comments:
Another riot by "teens" who hang out past the perimeter of a festival, looking to pick off any strays. You MUST NOT mention the race of all of the victims, of all of the perpetrators!

Only visited Cincinnati once. We almost wandered into the Over-the-Rhine neighborhood thinking it was some kind of German village. Not a good place for tourists.

Over-the-Rhine was a German community, 100 years ago. Now it´s getting gentrified, and a lot of other Section 8 housing near downtown is being demolished. The residents are being dumped on previously safe but un-chic neighborhoods. Knowing which parts of town are ok or not is something which needs frequent updating.

I´m sure all of the perps were rich young white males just coming off of the tennis courts.

Follow on to #4. Word is the properties being ´gentrified´ are supposedly owned by many on the City Council, who have also pushed through a rail system that the City can´t pay for!
