Hillary’s Armor: Why she’s so wary of the
press that she leaked part of her book

Fox News, by Howard Kurtz

Original Article

Hillary Clinton leaked a chunk of her own book yesterday, rather than wait for some media organization to snatch a pre-publication copy and data-mine it for juicy tidbits. Which could still happen, of course. The excerpt that Simon & Schuster posted from “Hard Choices” doesn’t contain much news, and that is probably by design. But what’s striking is that the book passages went online on the same day as a New Yorker piece in which her longtime spokesman complained that “there’s no such thing as straight reporting anymore.” If these early signs are any indication, Team Hillary is determined to

Oh, and it´s supposedly sold a million copies already. An inflated number to boost sales and assure a top rating on the NYT Best Seller list.
It´ll probably be made into a movie before ´16 rolls around.

A Disregarded Request From a Beloved

WAIANAE, Hawaii — For over 50 years, Senator Daniel K. Inouye, a Democrat, was the closest thing modern-day Hawaii had to political royalty: He began representing the state in Washington two years before its most famous citizen was even born. As he lay dying in 2012, Mr. Inouye asked the governor, Neil Abercrombie, to appoint Representative Colleen Hanabusa, a protégée and the daughter of a gas station owner here, to fill his seat. But Mr. Abercrombie, a fellow Democrat, disregarded that deathbed request, choosing his lieutenant governor, Brian Schatz, as the interim senator instead. Eighteen months later, the decision to defy one

During a recent break in her national book tour, Hillary Clinton sat at her kitchen table in Chappaqua, N.Y., rubbing her forehead. She had been experiencing splitting headaches and was finding it increasingly difficult to hide the throbbing pain in her head while doing television interviews. ABC News’ Diane Sawyer and NPR´s Terry Gross had asked Hillary some tough questions—about her wealth and her position on gay marriage—and Hillary had badly bungled her answers. What’s more, sales of Hillary’s memoir, “Hard Choices,” for which she was paid a reported $14 million, were alarmingly disappointing. After selling 80,000 copies the first week,

Doctors´ group says annual pelvic

CBS News, by Jessica Firger    Original Article

Each year, millions of women in the U.S. head to their gynecologist for an annual check-up. While it may not be the most pleasant experience in the world, most consider the prodding and mild discomfort of a routine pelvic exam to be an essential part of preventive health care. But now the American College of Physicians (ACP) is challenging the need for this practice. On Monday the group published a new set of guidelines that recommends against annual pelvic exams for healthy, non-pregnant women. After a review of studies conducted between 1946 and 2014, the ACP concluded that the risks posed by

TALLAHASSEE — The coming of Independence Day means fireworks season — and the beginning of the institutionalized charade behind their sale in Florida. In the Sunshine State, one does not buy a bottle rocket for recreation; one buys it to scare birds away from farms and fisheries. That’s right: Explosives for pest control. Technically speaking, consumer fireworks are illegal in Florida. But nearly 60 years ago, state lawmakers passed an exception — now the only one of its kind in the United States — for fireworks purchases by farms and fish hatcheries. That’s how vendors, including those in the ubiquitous tents that spring up

WINTHROP HARBOR, Ill. - On Monday morning, the U.S. Supreme Court is expected to hand down its opinion on a case involving a Winthrop Harbor woman which could have a significant impact on the future of public sector unions. Illinois state law allows Pam Harris to work as the full time caregiver for her son Josh, who is severely disabled. She is paid by Medicaid. But when Gov. Quinn signed an executive order allowing caregivers like Harris to be unionized, she filed a lawsuit, saying she´s technically not a state employee and complaining that her son´s Medicaid benefits would go toward a

Then one of the most powerful economic policy makers in the world moved in and, in the words of some here, ruined the neighborhood. On Friday, Rich commended the Club for Growth for putting a lot of money — over $3.1 million to be exact — behind its vocal support of Chris McDaniel in the Mississippi Senate primary. In terms of dollars spent, the Senate Conservatives Fund came in second, pouring over $1.3 million into the state to back McDaniel. Both groups also spent heavily in the three-week runoff election: approximately $650,000 and $250,000 respectively, and, in a race that was conducted largely over the airwaves, that money went mostly to television and digital advertisements, according to Federal Election Commission records. If Hillary’s disastrous book rollout and tone-deafness about her wealth are any indication, Hillary might just accomplish the unthinkable of imploding a second time as presumptive nominee. Hillary’s worst enemy is Hillary. There’s only so long you can pretend to be something you are not. Enter Elizabeth Warren. More accurately, Taylor’s defense of his client is based on the notion that Lerner is the real victim of targeting here. “She was as upset as anybody else was about the loss of the emails and the other documents which were on their which were quite important to her,” Taylor said of

The Keystone Pipeline project was expected to create tens of thousands of high paying jobs in the oil industry. The project itself would create 20,000 construction jobs. And the pipeline would bring oil from Canada and North Dakota to refineries in the United States. The proposed project would have extended from Alberta, Canada to Illinois, transporting approximately 400,000 barrels of crude oil per day. Estimated cost is $1.7 billion. But Obama rejected the plan in 2011 and 2014. Democrats are beholden to the radical green movement – the poor and middle class be damned. Now this… Canada pulled the plug on Keystone and will

As thousands of disease-riddled criminals storm across our borders, is it really time to mince words? President Obama appears to have an Agenda for America that stinks worse than a Border Patrol bus depot crammed with urine-drenched illegals. On January 29, 2014, the Department of Homeland Security advertised for a vendor to escort 65,000 “unaccompanied alien children,” indicating that they not only knew the alien invasion was coming, they planned it.

Today, the Supreme Court ruled in the nationally followed Hobby Lobby case. The for-profit corporations that brought these cases to the Supreme Court—a craft store and a cabinet manufacturer—argued that the corporations’ religious convictions should excuse them from compensating their employees through the comprehensive health insurance required by law. Specifically, these private employers sought to exclude insurance coverage of several forms of birth control because, contrary to medical and scientific evidence, the corporations’ owners believe some birth control causes abortions. The Affordable Care Act already includes special arrangements for houses of worship and religious non-profits, like schools and hospitals. Houses

According to AZ Central, McCain dismissed criticism over the tactics the Republican Establishment used to get black Democrats to cross over and vote for Cochran. Said McCain, "There are some people complaining that African-American voters voted. The waves of rockets from Gaza and IDF retaliations have picked up since the teens were kidnapped and the Israeli crackdown began. Hamas has not claimed responsibility for launching the rockets but Israel holds them responsible for everything coming out of Gaza. The Israel Defense

A government-contracted security force threatened to arrest doctors and nurses if they divulged any information about the contagion threat at a refugee camp housing illegal alien children at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas, sources say. In spite of the threat, several former camp workers broke their confidentiality agreements and shared exclusive details with me about the dangerous conditions at the camp. They said taxpayers deserve to know about the contagious diseases and the risks the children pose to Americans. I have agreed to not to disclose their identities because they fear retaliation and prosecution.
