Why Washington will worry
about UKIP's rise

Telegraph [UK], by Tom Rogan

Today, mid-level US officials will have been studying cables from the American Embassy in London. The topic? The EU elections and Ukip. The content of those cables will make uncomfortable reading. Here are three reasons why. First, the US Government supports greater British integration with the European Union. From the American perspective, Britain plays a very positive role in shaping EU governance. America supports freer trade and is sympathetic to fewer regulations; it believes that Britain counter-balances the regulation-friendly governments of France and Germany. Moreover, the Obama administration is seeking a new free trade agreement with the European Union. It knows that British support

According to an excellent article at the Climate Web site Watts Up With That, the UKIP´s 3rd most popular platform with its voters is it´s Skeptical policy towards AGW.

It´s encouraging to see that in the mind of the voters "The Science Is Not Settled."

Traders all over the globe spend billions complying with American Free Trade agreements and the Telegraph thinks that we support "free trade and are sympathetic to fewer regulations"???? Is there no lie too preposterous for the media to throw out to see if it will stick?

The UKIP is a breath of fresh air in the ultra smog of suffocating regulations by governments everywhere. Now we need this to spread continuing in November here in the US.

´Government free´ and ´tariff free´ commerce among nations should be a world goal.

Farage is Obama´s worst nightmare - which is why I love him.
Cameron was his lap dog in three of Obamas greatest foreign policy failures.
FTA " In specific terms, the US will have paid close attention to Farage’s fervent opposition to Cameron´s policy in Ukraine, Libya, and Syria."
Benghazi never would have happened if Obama/ Hilary had not supported AQ and the Muslim Brotherhood to destabilize Egypt, Syria and Libya.
Hilary´s cackling about Qaddafis brutal death was grotesque.
Obamas reference to the Falklands as the Malvinas is a slap in the face of UK to favor socialist Kirchner.
Returning Churchills bust another.
Cameron went on vacation with his entitled wife when Lee Rugby was savagely killed in broad daylight by a terrorist Cameron´s government had freed from a Kenyan jail for terrorism.
Rigby´s blood is on his hands - as is Amb Stevens for getting USA into Libya so UK could get the OIL.
Go UKIP! Go Farage! Shake up the political parasitic class.

Amazon has been dragged into a major EU tax crackdown after officials demanded documents relating to the online retail giant´s tax affairs. The EU´s competition commission has asked Luxembourg, where Amazon´s European business is based, to hand over details on the company´s tax payments, according to a report in the FT. An EU official told the newspaper that Brussels was seeking more information on the nature of the tax deal that had been struck between Luxembourg and Amazon. The move could lead to a full-blown investigation into the retailer´s European tax arrangements. The online retail giant has joined a growing

Former S.C. Treasurer Thomas Ravenel is expected to announce his candidacy for U.S. Senate on Friday as an independent hopeful against Republican incumbent Lindsey Graham. Ravenel said Wednesday that a "large announcement" is planned for Friday and that he will appear in Greenville, but otherwise declined to give specifics. A copy of Ravenel´s schedule says he plans on attending the Red White and Blue Festival in Greenville on July 4. Ravenel recently confirmed he had hired a private vendor to help him collect the minimum 10,000 signatures of South Carolina voters he needs to be placed on the November ballot

Only days after Patrick Moore, the disillusioned co-founder of Greenpeace, said the green movement has become a "combination of extreme political ideology and religious fundamentalism rolled into one," Greenpeace seems determined to prove Moore was right. The group has launched a fun-sucking, fundamentalist attack on the toy company Lego, claiming "Shell is using Lego to clean up its image for dirty oil drilling" in the Arctic. Greenpeace, like an environmental Bible-thumper, demands, "Lego, how will you rebuild what Shell destroys?" In fact all Lego has done is agree a deal in which the Anglo-Dutch petroleum giant gives away Shell-branded Lego

He has been described as the world’s most dangerous terrorist. The ingenious explosive devices designed by Ibrahim al-Asiri explain why intelligence officials on both sides of the Atlantic have raised fresh concerns about airport security. These have included the so-called “underpants bomber” who tried to blow up a plane as it approached Detroit airport on Christmas Day 2009, and the ink cartridge bombs uncovered at Dubai and East Midlands

Ever since Islamist militants emerged as the dominant force in the conflicts in Iraq and Syria, much has been written about how groups such Isis, which is currently in the process of establishing an Islamic Caliphate in northern Iraq, should be distinguished from the mainstream al-Qaeda movement. Isis fighters are so extreme, or so the argument goes, that even al-Qaeda is appalled at their barbarous treatment of their fellow Muslims, to the extent that Ayman al-Zawahiri, al-Qaeda´s somewhat isolated leader, has attempted to disown them. The threat, which originated from US intelligence, had an immediate impact at British airports where passengers were subjected to more stringent and rigorous security checks. A grim new report from the U.S. Census Bureau shows a solid band of high poverty neighborhoods--running from Arizona east to North Carolina. Only Florida and Virginia are spared from the trend. President Obama’s displeasure with gridlock in Washington — and with the Republicans he blames for it — has been rising for months. This week it has boiled over. From the Rose Garden to the Cabinet Room to near the Key Bridge in Georgetown, the president has signaled more than mere annoyance at the state of affairs at the halfway point of this year. His disdain for congressional Republicans has steadily increased; his disrespect for their tactics has hardened into contempt. Maybe we’ve been conned. There’s a growing recognition that Barack Obama is an incompetent poser, working out of his depth, and his administration is the gang that can’t shoot straight. There’s a lot of evidence to support that belief. Everything he touches becomes a bloody mess, like crushed bones and bits of flesh caught in the tracks of a tank slicing through a rank of soldiers (or civilians). Iraq, Syria, Egypt — all gone, as prospects for countries with a prosperous and democratic future. The “reset” with Russia, meant to ensure that America and the replacement republic of the old
