The woman the killer

New York Post, by David K. Li

Original Article

California killer Elliot Rodger blamed his violent misogyny on a pretty former childhood pal who went on to become his vision of all “mean, cruel and heartless” women. Rodger became obsessed with the fellow British ex-pat and now-model, who was in seventh grade while he was eighth in the same California private school, according to his chilling manifesto. In the twisted document, Rodger admitted he had a crush on the girl, but the feeling was apparently not reciprocated, and he hated her for it. “My experience during Middle School really darkened my view of the world, and it would only

His misogyny dates back to when he was about 12 or 13 years old ... and no one noticed he had a problem?

Only poor people are crazy.

Rich kids are ´troubled´, eccentric or deep and artistic.

Of course they knew. His immediate and extended family all knew and he has been in continuous therapy since the age of 8. Once he was 18 there was nothing his family could do without his permission and they wouldn´t even have the right to information about his condition. It was his mother who got the police involved and that was a dead end.

OP, the kid´s grandmother noted that he was deeply disturbed for a long time, and he was under the care of several mental healthcare professionals.

Look at the kid´s "selfies"; seems to me he probably wanted not to date girls, but to be one. This sort of gender-bending is all the rage in the Hollywood circles where he grew up, as peddled by the likes of his family (with his father a purveyor of violent movies).

Spoiled narcissistic rich kid. No one ever told him that life was not about sex, drugs and having fun. If he had had some parental guidance and was able to be around regular normal happily married monogamous couples maybe he would not have turned into the self absorbed killer that he became.

When I took guardianship of my nephew, he was a timid, meek, quiet child and "troubled" as he´d been abused by his mother´s boyfriend.

Shortly after receiving the guardianship papers, and putting him on my insurance, I found a child therapist for him. One day, in the summer he was 9, I went home from work for lunch and he wanted to ride the public bus to visit a friend. As I was driving back to work, I saw him walking toward home without his backpack. I stopped to get him, and drove around the block to go home, we found his backpack near the alley, retrieved it and I told him, in light of being mugged by 2 teenagers, maybe he should stay inside watching TV.

After work, I took him to his regular therapy session, the "hour" was 40 minutes with him alone, 10 minutes for both, and 10 minutes for her notes. When the therapist called me back, I asked, "Did he tell you what happened today?" She said, "He said he was punished to stay inside all afternoon, but I wasn´t sure why." He was mugged!

When an adult is in pain, and paying the bill, they usually try to solve their problems as quickly as possible. When a child is in pain, the therapist can only work on those problems the child decide to discuss, he has no imperative to "work quickly, he´s not paying the bill.

I find it difficult to blame the professionals involved with Elliot Rodger, but I think his parents could have been more aware of his misogyny, narcissism, and other problems, if they had been more interested in the child they brought into this world, and perhaps less self-centered.

It is usually "easy" for sociopaths to pull the wool over the eyes of loved ones and strangers alike, they are able watchers of behavior, and mimic what they think others want to see, but then there is his computer "paper trail."

But if he hadn´t been able to buy the 3 guns, he was very capable of killing with a knife...guns are not what needed to be controlled in this young man´s life.

An internecine battle has broken out between the Obama administration and the School Nutrition Association (SNA) over the federal government’s requirements for school meal programs. The fight has gotten so nasty that Michelle Obama’s food policy czar, celebrity chef Sam Kass, who handed out awards at the SNA´s annual convention in 2012, was refused permission to speak at this year´s convention, held in Boston this week and attended by approximately 6,500 school nutrition workers. No one from True The Vote, the highest profile organization targeted by the IRS in the scandal involving improper scrutiny of conservative-leaning non-profits, has been interviewed by the FBI or investigators from the Department of Justice, according to the group’s President, Catherine Engelbrecht. This stunning revelation comes just days after Attorney General Eric Holder rebuffed the suggestion that an independent investigation is needed into the growing scandal. Holder told ABC News this weekend that a special investigation was unnecessary because “career people” and FBI agents were “doing a good, professional job” investigating the matter. The Times praised the Obama administration´s request for $3.7 billion in aid to deal with a crisis they think is a "myth." "The besieged border is a myth, and the arrival of a few thousand weary refugee children on buses does not make the myth true," the Times wrote.
