Ukip storms European elections
Telegraph [UK], by James Kirkup, Steven Swinford

Original Article

Posted By:Attercliffe, 5/25/2014 5:57:57 PM

The UK Independence Party has won a national election for the first time, taking the most votes and seats in the European Parliament elections according to sources in all of Britain´s main political parties. The Ukip victory, which came as anti-establishment parties advanced across the European Union, represents the biggest shock to the British political system in a generation. Even before the final results were announced, sources in Ukip and the three older political parties were all predicting a historic victory for Nigel Farage’s party, which was founded in 1993 and does not have a single MP or council leader.

Comments:
Democrats and RINOs take note.

So it looks as if it´s de rigeur to break out the Mission Street India Pale Ale!

Farage also won his own seat as MEP and UKIP is up to 22 seats.
Labour and Tories 14 and 16 each with two more districts to report.
This is GREAT NEWS!
European Elite and their bureacratic PARASITE CLASS are going to be looking for work in the same economies they have been destroying.
Hopefully the Bureaucratic parasites in USA like Lois Lerner and her UNION and VA Bureacrats will also be shown the door.
VA needs less bureacracy and more health care PROFESSIONALS.
Repeal Obamacare.
Bureacrats and Regulators and their UNIONS are destroying Europe and the USA.
Hopefully UKIP will start reversing it in UK and EUROPE.

Good news if they can keep the momentum. I look forward to the British Government that reverses its absurd ban on Robert Spencer, Pamella Geller, and Michael Savage, or a United States Tea Party Government that will appoint all three of them as Ambassadors Great Britain.

Sadly, we have not suffered enough here ( believe it or not) for the Tea Party to succeed like this.

But once the disaster of zippycare starts to hit everyone - and not just the self-employed (note that the dems put off the application to "people with company supplied med insurance" until AFTER the Nov elections) ..there will be a sh_ _ storm. But will it be too late to fix the damage?

The lesson here for America is that we need a third party. We cannot change the Republicans from within.

People of all ages have had it with both parties. We can´t get rid of them through the primary process. However, protest votes would sweep a third party into power in no time.

Look at the main issues, Need for change: The voters need convincing that David Cameron can deliver on welfare reform, bring back humanity and efficiency to a genuinely 24-hour NHS, and crucially, reclaim power from Brussels and and get a grip on EU immigration.

If we do not repeal Obamacare and take care of immigration quickly and soon, this will be us.
They are having the same problems we are. A blind political elite who have never held real jobs and lining their pockets and power hungry making all the rules.

While a 3rd party would be nice in the US, it is a lot more difficult with our electoral system. In the UK you vote for a party slate and the number of seats each party gets is proportional to the vote. With winner takes all, you don´t get a seat until you reach 51% (or a majority in a 3 way race.) So the starting threshold is very high and the result is to take votes away from the party with the closest principles. That means that a 3rd party will entrench the worst principles and make it even harder.

Primaries are our battle ground. Come the general election, the party closest to the founders must win and that is not the Democrats. Democrats gave us Obamacare and those that say there is no difference between the parties are not thinking clearly. If Obamacare is not repealed, it truly will no longer be free country. Only a GOP majority can repeal Obamacare. Voting libertarian or not voting in the general election will enshrine Obamacare and doom the country.

This is great news to wake up to, but #13 is right. Any sea change here must be done through the two-party system; to think a third party would do anything but doom us to more of the same and worse - is beyond delusional.

We have a virtual winning team of soft to outspoken loud great guy, talented, proven, leaders, from the most articulate Ted Cruz to the softest almost lady like Christie. Only if they all join hands , support each other, create an irresistible plank, and unanimously support the republican ticket that they take over together, only then can we win back the country.

And this team together will help the voters pick the actual runner, that all the rest will support and campaign for with great excitement !

Imagine all these amazing, successful guys working TOGETHER ! Pooling their money and time TO WIN !
Scott Walker, Bobby Jyndal, Chris, Ted, Rand, Issa, Trey Goudy, several other great, proven governors, with the help of talk radio, country western singers, ALL of the Tea Party, bikers, even the closet republicans in Communist Hollywood and day time Dr Phil TV hosts, would dare to come out, TO SAVE THE NATION !

Everybody join hands and we will win !

It could definitely happen here.

People do not like being ripped off, and told what to do by their ´betters´. This is not just a Democratic or Republican issue either.

People do not like seeing a group of political insiders and people that are politically connected make a huge bundle at the expense of literally everything else. That is corruption.

Best thing that could happen is political careers are shortened because people are voting almost everyone out of office.

Have you fired an arrogant, stuck-up, corrupt politician lately?

Good news indeed. I know a lot of LDotters read the Daily Mail and The London Telegraph. The British papers print stories that our media sit on or spike. UKIP has the European politicians absolutely wetting their striped trousers. They have smugly ignored what the average Brit has been complaining about for years...a rotten economy, political correctness run wild, immigration and ridiculous edicts from the high-living EU snobs.

Like our own elites, they feel that the common man is beneath contempt. They know best, of course, they are so obviously the smartest people in the world. I just pray that this will happen here.

The United States fears that two of al-Qaeda´s most deadly international offshoots are plotting to bring down a commercial airliner with the help of European jihadists returning from Syria. The White House is debating asking its allies to step up airport security in response to the new threat from the terror group´s Syrian and Yemeni branches, meaning British travellers could face intensified screenings. The American plan, reported by ABC News, could call for an influx of armed US air marshals on British flights or an increase in searches of passengers headed to the US.

Jobless EU migrants claiming benefits will be booted out of Britain from tomorrow if they show no sign of finding work. Ministers say the radical measure is an attempt to give Britain the toughest controls on migrants in the world. It means those who have been claiming jobseeker’s allowance for six months will have to undergo “prospect of work” interviews to determine whether they can stay in the country. Those who do not have a job offer or the imminent prospect of finding work will lose their right to reside in the UK--leaving many liable to be sent home.

If anyone at the White House was paying any attention to the dramatic changes taking place to the landscape of the Middle East, then they should be ringing the alarm bells. There are many understandable reasons why Western leaders are wary of backing the pro-Iranian Shia government of Iraqi prime minister Nouri al-Maliki.
