Sheriff Says Gunman Killed

Breitbart California, by AWR Hawkins

On May 24, Santa Barbara County Sheriff Bill Brown held a press conference in which he said Elliot Rodger killed six victims on Friday night, including three he stabbed and killed at "his residence" with a knife. Brown said there were "10 separate locations where criminal activity took place" and in some of the locations there is "more than one crime scene." He said Rodger "murdered three victims within his residence prior to the shooting rampage." He said these three "male victims" appear to have been "repeatedly stabbed." After this, Rodger went on the shooting spree, in which Breitbart News reported he sought "retribution" because women had

One would wonder, not that I care in the least, if he was really struggling with his sexuality, maybe being a possible closet homosexual. There has to be a reason why between "having" all the money, toys (drugs?) and access to more, his "advances" failed. Or simply put, from watching too much of what Hollyweird offers today, his "vision" of love (sex) was skewed to death (murder) as the ultimate aphrodisiac (power).

Neither of my vehicles will allow me to hit anyone. My knives are inanimate and my guns are no danger to anyone. I know the value of life and know how God feels about life as well. Who is the nerd?

It would be a good idea for the amateur psychologists to read his life story, which is published in full as part of a Daily Mail article posted yesterday.

He was obsessed with girls. Blonde girls. A short, slight man, he was also humiliated by his size - even as early as a childhood visit to Universal Studios when he was judged too short to do a ride that other boys his age were doing and relegated to a kiddie one.

I don´t usually go with the "blame the childhood" crowd, but his was strange by anyone´s standards. A Malaysian mother, a Moroccan stepmother, a mostly absent father who let the mother´s manage the boy. He loved his mother. The stepmother, who came into his life very shortly after his parents´ separation (little kids ARE troubled by things like that), no.

His hatred for everyone built up over time. At its root, according to him, was his still being a virgin at age 22. Believing that no one even liked him. That the fun in life went on in his sight (he was inflamed by seeing couples kissing) would never be his.

That´s a heavy psychological load. No excuse for what he did, but a load.

Rodger´s long autobiography and manifesto, "My Twisted World", has been published here. He describes his life in minute detail from birth to the present. As I said, the amateur psychologists will find him here:

Clearly the mental health industry and law enforcement are ineffective in dealing with the very small percentage of mentally ill people who are truly dangerous to the general public. Until that changes these mass murders committed by dangerous mentally ill people will keep occurring.

Using Liberal reasoning, I think his father should be arrested as an accomplice because he bought him the BMW that he used to kill some. Let´s ban all knives. They are so ready to blame everything except the real culprit. The mentally ill man. Why did his father not have him committed long time ago.

i have a sneaky suspicion at the bottom of this tragedy, you will find a lawyer that kept the shooter on the streets.

I cannot confirm, but one source i read indicated the parents told the police about aberrant behavior by their son, they looked into it, and did not detain him.
Trust me, somehow a lawyer (and by implication the ABA) is to blame.

The Biggest Non-Story in

Voter ID Implemented With No Problems

It wasn’t the biggest story following Tuesday’s elections in various states, but it was the biggest and most-ignored non-story. Mississippi’s new voter ID law got its first run in the June 3 primary, and the sky did not fall. Despite the tiresome and disproven claims by opponents that such laws cause wholesale voter disenfranchisement and are intended to suppress votes, Mississippi “sailed through” its first test of the new ID requirements, according to The Clarion Ledger, the newspaper of Jackson, Miss. Aside from being able to use any form of government-issued photo ID, like every other state with ID requirements,

Washington - A group of Roman Catholic bishops and Orthodox Christians wants the Vatican to lift a ban on married priests for a small segment of the American church. The committee wants the Vatican to allow ordination for married men in Eastern-rite Catholic churches in North America. Eastern-rite Catholics accept the authority of the pope but have many of their own rituals and liturgy. There are more than a dozen Eastern Catholic church groups in North America, but their total numbers are small. Eastern Catholic churches in the Middle East and Europe already ordain married men. But the Vatican banned the practice in America in the

Both Democrats and Republicans have rejected an excuse offered by the White House for why they were unable to inform Congress of the Bergdahl prisoner swap. The White House has offered several excuses for why it failed to notify Congress 30 days in advance as required by law. In a briefing for Senators Wednesday, the White House claimed Bergdahl´s life was in danger if word of the swap leaked to the media. The AP was first to publish word of the threat to Bergdahl´s life on Thursday. Their initial story was only a few paragraphs and attributed the claim to three unnamed "congressional officials."

There he goes again. At a press conference in Brussels Thursday, President Obama was asked if he was surprised by the controversy over his decision to trade Bowe Bergdahl for five high-ranking Taliban leaders. His response was vintage Obama: “I’m never surprised by controversies that are whipped up in Washington.” Thus establishing from the start that he considers the controversy to be a kind of partisan farce, he proceeded to rebut criticisms virtually no one has made. This is Obama’s favorite rhetorical trick; he builds and then tears apart a straw man while insisting that the American people are on

This debate has raged on blogs and social media ever since Barack Obama put his arm around Robert Bergdahl, so having it erupt of Morning Joe today is less of a surprise and more of a cathartic. Chuck Todd, traveling with Obama on his tour of Europe, reacted to criticism from Joe Scarborough of the elder Bergdahl for his Taliban-friendly behavior prior to the release. Todd rebuked Scarborough for criticizing the father of a captive, a situation that’s impossible to imagine without experiencing it himself, but Scarborough angrily retorts that the father’s actions are open to criticism — especially those prior to his son’s desertion:
