NHS privatisation could be
just what the doctor ordered

Sunday Express [UK], by Jimmy Young

Original Article

Posted By:Attercliffe, 5/25/2014 1:12:23 AM

The Labour party legitimately claims that it created the National Health Service. [Snip] We are living much longer than Mr Bevan could possibly have imagined back in 1947 and are making greater demands on the NHS. Also, because doctors refuse to be used as border guards, it is difficult to stop foreigners coming here and obtaining treatment from a National Health Service to which they have contributed nothing. Hard-working British taxpayers are rightly furious when their contributions are abused in this way and they demand that it be stopped. The provisional figures for 2013-2014 show a net deficit of £241million

Comments:
The English NHS funding comes primarily from general tax funds. Additionally, regular payments are deducted from pay checks as "National Insurance." As we are beginning to find out, funding for ObamaSnare is plucked not only from from the individual family via regular "insurance" payments but also from the extraordinary sums demanded for deductibles and co-pays--and deficits will come from general tax funds.

NHS doesn´t work any more and Donald Berwick & Co. must have known that. Now we´re hearing the tide can´t be turned; we have to go on with "affordable" care. This article proves the lie.

Berwick still loves NHS and modeled OvomitCare after it. He´s absolutely elated about how many people NHS killed off.

The addiction to OPM is like any other. Either you have to admit your´re an addict or when you hit bottom and there is no more OPM, you have to learn to live on your own and not on OPM.

U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham appears poised to win Tuesday´s GOP primary without a runoff, a Clemson University Palmetto Poll of state voters suggests. With only days left in the race, a statewide survey of 400 Republicans shows Graham has the support of 49 percent of those polled, putting him on the cusp of reaching the 50 percent-plus-one mark he needs to win the nomination outright, without a runoff. While a significant 35 percent of voters remain undecided, the results suggest that if Graham can move just a small portion of the "up-for-grab" vote his way, he can claim the Republican nomination Tuesday

In the video above, you can watch the exchange of Sgt Bowe Bergdahl from his Taliban captors to the US military. As I watched, I realised that America and the Taliban could perceive the video in very different ways… The American perspective: [Snip] The American desire for a peaceful exchange is always apparent. As the two parties come together, watch as the US soldier on the left raises his right hand over his heart and then does the same to the Taliban fighter nearest to him. For Afghans, this is a mark of deep sincerity and respect.

John Kerry has been caught on camera closing his eyes for a possible power nap during a press conference with European leaders yesterday. The Secretary of State was in Warsaw on Tuesday and was seated next to National Security Advisor Susan Rice as they listened to Polish President Bronislaw Komorowski speak at a news conference alongside President Obama at Belweder Palace. News cameras captured the moment when Kerry closed his eyes, and stayed on him as they remained closed. Kerry closed his eyes for about six seconds before reopening them and jolting up quite quickly.

A public welcome home celebration featuring Grammy-winning singer Carole King in honor of freed POW Bowe Bergdahl in the tiny town of Hailey, Idaho was abruptly cancelled today. The official reason given was a concern for public safety, but MailOnline has learned that it was not the only reason the party was scrubbed. Today´s decision follows a row that erupted in Hailey between Mayor Fritz Haemmerle and US Army Platoon Commander Jonathan Kennedy, who lives in Hailey. And Kennedy wasn´t the only towns person who voiced disapproval of a celebration for the soldier under fire. Mayor Haemmerle wanted to throw a welcome

The Obama administration passed up multiple opportunities to rescue Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl because the president was dead-set on finding a reason to begin emptying Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, according to a Pentagon official. [Snip] ´What we learned along the way was that the president wanted a diplomatic scenario that would establish a precedent for repatriating detainees from Gitmo,´ he said. Bowe Bergdahl declared that he wanted to renounce his US citizenship in a note that he left behind in his tent before disappearing “to start a new life”, according to former members of his army unit. Some soldiers who served alongside him believe that he may also have walked off their remote outpost in eastern Afghanistan on previous occasions, possibly tying to contact the Taliban, and returned unharmed. Senior US military officials who debriefed two former members of Sgt Bergdahl’s unit told Fox News that on the night he disappeared, he left behind a note in which he expressed disillusionment

France is preparing to train hundreds of Russian naval crew to operate a powerful French-made warship this month, defying calls from the U.S. and other Western allies to keep the vessel out of the Kremlin’s hands, according to a report in the Wall Street Journal. A group of 400 Russian sailors are scheduled to arrive on June 22 in the French Atlantic port of Saint-Nazaire to undergo months of instruction aboard two Mistral-class warships, which will significantly enhance Russian naval power at a time of tensions over Ukraine and concerns about President Vladimir Putin’s intentions in the Baltic.

When Bob Bergdahl launched in Arabic, invoking Allah while standing next to President Obama in the White House Rose Garden, a number of Americans were startled. (snip) I am not knowledgeable enough to judge the claim of sanctifying the White House and claiming it for Islam, but I place a lot of stick in watching nonverbal cues, people’s quick reactions. President Obama has given his own military a reason to hate him — not just be skeptical of him, but actively hate him — for releasing five senior Taliban commanders in exchange for a captured US soldier who appears to be a deserter. Here’s another. Those five Taliban commanders arrived in Qatar, under no evident guard of any kind, and got a hero’s welcome. The politics and legalities of all this are bad enough. We have a president knowingly breaking laws because he knows he can get away with it, and we have a government that has set the precedent

Five years ago, I publicly raised questions about Bowe Bergdahl’s desertion from Blackfoot Company, 1-501 Infantry (Airborne), 4th Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division. A few weeks after his so-called “capture” in late June 2009, three conflicting accounts had surfaced: U.S. officials told the Associated Press Bergdahl had “walked off” the base with three Afghans; the Taliban claimed on its website that “a drunken American soldier had come out of his garrison” and into their arms; and Bergdahl claimed in his Taliban “hostage video” that he had “lagged behind a patrol” before being captured. The 43-year-old Ernst won the nomination over five candidates. She´ll face Democratic Rep. Bruce Braley in the November general election. All the Republicans seeking the nomination described themselves as deeply conservative, but Ernst managed to stand out in part due to two television ads. One featured her on a farm, talking about her experience castrating hogs, and the other showed her firing a handgun. From the moment the father of Bowe Bergdahl took the stage with President Barack Obama, it was clear the Bergdahls were not an average US military family. Sporting a long, bushy beard that he refused to trim since his son went missing in 2009, Bob Bergdahl spoke Pashto, Afghanistan´s main language, and also a few words of Arabic at the White House press conference announcing his son´s release. Acting as commander-in-chief, President Obama exchanged five terrorist leaders for U.S. Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl. The rationale was that the United States leaves no soldier behind on the battlefield or in enemy hands. That is half of the equation. The disconcerting other half is that Bergdahl may have left behind his own unit and gone over to the enemy. In 2009, then Pvt. Bergdahl (automatically promoted in absentia to the rank of sergeant) left his frontline unit under the cover of darkness. Soon after, the Taliban reported him in their custody. For weeks, thousands of American soldiers risked their lives to
