Anatomy of a Veterans Affairs scandal
Politico, by Hadas Gold

CNN’s nonstop coverage of the vanished Malaysian plane was widely mocked, but not by the network’s investigative team. Those reporters hadn’t quite nailed down an explosive story alleging serious misconduct at the Phoenix Veterans Affairs Hospital, so they used the obsession over the plane to continue working, and then waited for a lull in the 24/7 Flight 370 coverage so they could pounce. (Snip) CNN’s path-breaking coverage of veterans’ issues — dying while they waited for care, allegations of secret waiting lists for tests and treatment, and charges of a coverup — gives the cable network a point of pride after brutal criticism for its

Comments:
Basically, or should I say cynically, CNN is using the VA Hospital deaths as cannon fodder for the lofo´s to be distracted from 0bama abuses, like Benghazi hearings. Brave, dead American serviceman used for ratings, not political answers on the Communist News Network, all orchestrated by the White House. Ironically, they get some major "award" for something no one is watching.

Maybe this will be a trend. Maybe the MSM will start to do investigative journalism to try to retain viewers and subscribers.

I am still angry that CNN gave no coverage to support Michelle´s school lunch program, or her new Spring wardrobe. And there should have been in-depth coverage of Barack´s impromptu stop to play baseball with the Little Leaguers.
Those were stories us loyal, CNN watching Lo-Fo´s want to know about.
IRS, Benghazi, VA, NSA? Who cares.

How I loathe the msm just the way Bill Clinton loathed the military. If treason existed as a concept or law in this country they would be on trial but it doesn´t unfortunately.

Amazing. CNN´s best and brightest think the VA story had to wait for the Flight 370 story because it somehow required uninterrupted, around-the-clock coverage. And they think that doesn´t make them look like morons.

Obama read his statement from his teleprompter stating he was surprise and outraged and the Veterans, some who voted for him possibly twice, forgave his and blamed the director who still has his job.
This will go away.

Arizona´s own RINO commie John McLain, late to the party.
CNN timing a realease, Obama ignoring it for at least six years. This is the biggest story because this story is producing, and will continue to produce, the biggest list of whitstleblowers in American history. Families, so intimidated
by government and media controlling power, who never even
thought of speaking out, are now coming out of the woodwork, an endless stream, exposing the government scandal of all scandals. They are previewing the coming disaster of Obamacare with so many stupid bureaucrats lined up between, interfering with patient and doctor relationship, that it´s easy to guess, millions more will die needlessly if this communist medical scheme is not killed.

All vets get medical chits, go to doctor of their choice, end of problem, close down the trillions wasted in the VA and the direct costs of free choice service cannot possibly exceed the bureaucratic costs of the VA and all the land that it owns. Like Charter schools, give the consumer an
alternative to union controlled, dominating communist bureaucracy.

Wanted: an Ldotter that knows the sequence of coverage on this long censored world changing scandal of death.
Was Drudge first? Was Fox first on TV? Was Rush or Savage first on talk radio? Does anyone have the correct
dates? This is the PERFECT TIME to show the Goebbells
media and press, and how these propagandists censor out
important news. Please, somebody do a calendar showing how the cowardly Pelley Sawyer networks AVOIDED the truth.

It appears that the entire thrust of this article is to rain praise on CNN. Well, I have a bit of news for the author. I don´t watch CNN and never will. I even have it programed OFF of my TV so I can´t accidently go to that channel. Did I ever say that I really don´t like hearing or reading liberals? I do have to at time just so I know how to combat stupidity. Another point. All of these problems surfacing about the VA have been around for DECADES now. Why it hasn´t surfaced before is a mystery to me. I have first hand knowledge about some of the problems with the VA and have tried in the past to get someone, anyone, to listen but no one would. For some reason, the VA was touted as the greatest medical system of the planet. It isn´t. And never has been. And as a vet myself, I´ve never requested treatment from the VA. Never.

Barely 300K viewers in CNN´s primetime. Epic fail on this ham-handed attempt by Politico to resuscitate them. The media sits on every story that makes their party look bad. Period. It only comes out when alternative media forces them to talk about it, and sometimes not even then.

Republicans are in the strongest position to win back the Senate since losing it eight years ago. Over several months, the party has expanded its range of targeted seats, and the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) has helped defeat insurgents it didn’t want representing the GOP in the midterm elections.
