Sen. Corker: White House Meeting About
Obama’s Foreign Policy ‘One Of
The Most Bizarre I’ve Attended’

ASHINGTON — White House officials have been holding private meetings this week aimed at soothing lawmakers’ concerns over the U.S. posture in Syria, the future of the American military presence in Afghanistan and defense spending. The meetings come as a frustrated White House seeks to push back at criticism of President Barack Obama’s foreign policy. But the White House outreach appeared to be having little effect on some lawmakers’ concerns. Tennessee Sen. Bob Corker, the top Republican on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, described Tuesday night’s White House meeting with chief of staff Denis McDonough and national security adviser Susan

~~The president did not drop by the White House meeting, surprising the senators. White House officials cast the meetings as part of their effort to step up engagement with lawmakers who long have complained about feeling out of the loop regarding the president’s decision-making.~~

About says it all.....

Other than the headline, not much real info in the article, of course it is CBS. One quote was all it could provide.

The President did not show up for the meeting. This was Tuesday. So what did he do all day? Here´s his schedule for Tuesday, May 20, 2014:

-- 10:45 AM -The President drops by a meeting with business leaders, The Roosevelt Room

-- 50 PM - The President meets with Secretary of Defense Hagel, Oval Office (Closed Press)

Note that 0bama did not receive the PDB (Presidential Daily Brief). In fact, the only day he received it this past week was Thursday. No wonder he doesn´t know what´s going on.

And somebody help me out here - is this speech number 7896 or 7897? I took a half hour nap and may have missed one.

The only thing Obama has ever run is his mouth (wait for it... I´ll be labeled a ´racist´). No private sector experience; no gov´t. experience as an executive either - merely a legislator who didn´t legislate. He was never chief executive of a state government (a Governor); was never a chief executive of a major American city (a Mayor)... heck, he was never Mayor of Palookaville. NO executive experience, anywhere, public or private... and as importantly, no significant experience through a rise-in-ranks in getting to an executive position - that is, no measurable milestones and achievements that would have vetted and qualified ANY such person in a meritorious rise-through-ranks: So what was it again that qualified him to be the chief executive of the Executive Branch of the Federal Government - the President of the United States of America? Oh... nothing whatsoever.

Why would they have a cheese party for foreign policy, then not answer question about duration of our stay in Afghanistan? Wonder if they served little finger sandwiches with selzer water for a metrosexual-hosted party but where host does not show? Pin the tail on the donkey? Sounds like cheese whiz, saltines, boxed wine, O´Doul´s on outcome.

Good catch, #4. The man had virtually nothing on his schedule, and still can´t be bothered to show up at a meeting HE called to convince the Senators HE invited that his foreign policy is not weak and drifting. Even by the lower, fraudulent standard stated by his advisors - addressing purported Senatorial frustration on being "out of the loop", which implies the Senators´ complaint was being uninformed, not that their advice is not being solicited - he fails.

“You hit singles, you hit doubles. Every once in a while we may be able to hit a home run,” Obama said. “But we steadily advance the interests of the American people and our partnership with folks around the world.”

So far the President has been thrown a No Hitter....no singles, doubles, triples or home runs, and the interests of the American people are being squelched every day by Obama and his mob.

Why meet to discuss something no one has. Someone please us what the core of US foreign policy has been since the fall of the USSR...anyone? The US has had no coherent policy since then, not under Clinton, Bush43 or Obama. Well, unless you consider stumbling around with NATO in the Balkans and/or flailing in Iraq and Afghanistan a policy, and "You´re either with us, or against us." We seem to have no national interest in anything of magnitude...#bringourgirls back is as close as it gets. Here comes the hardest part to swallow: We´re BROKE!

Uh-oh! Looks like the AP has forgotten law #1 of the Three Laws of Journobotics!

1. A Journobot may not criticize Obama or, through inaction, allow Obama to be criticized.

2. A Journobot must obey the orders given to it by Democrats, except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.

3. A Journobot may obfuscate to cover for itself, as long as this does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

Guess Obama really does not care what senior senate Republicans think. Hence the noshow. The Obama gang intends to continue as planned with his criminal anti-American Muslim foreign policy. What are Republican lawmakers going to do about it? After six long years it should be obvious to the Republicans that the Obama gang does not negotiate. The Obama gang is counting on Republican timidity. The Republicans need to push hard, and be ready with a long hard fight from the Obama gang, and accomplice Democratic lawmakers and lefty media. This cannot be ignored. Government corruption is destroying the country.

Where is the detailed description of what type of wine, beer and cheese was served? I need a description of the table setting, colors that were used. You know the Important stuff.

I got the detailed information about the president not being there. Who cares or needs to know where he was, what he was doing, or what was more important.

To answer #8´s question. There is/was ONE qualification that Obozo has for high office. His skin color. Nothing else tho. OMG! Now I´s a racist!

Seriously, this entire administration, from it´s beginning, has not shown any coherent foreign policy or domestic policy. All they have done is jump from one subject to another. And create scandals by the dozens. It appears to me that there isn´t a single one in the top tiers of this government that even know what foreign or domestic policy is. All they seem to be concerned with is making Obozo look good. At what, I have no idea.

A Fox News exclusive reported this morning by Jana Winter inexplicably buried the lede. Winter reports that several dead children have been discovered “washed up along the riverbank” of the Rio Grande, but fails to note that there have been no reports by the Obama administration on this. This indicates a pattern of covering up dead illegal alien kids by the Obama administration. It was two weeks before news was reported on the sole child death acknowledged by the Obama administration, Gilberto Ramos, a 15 year-old boy from Guatemala whose body was found in the Texas brush dead from the

The U.S. deported Honduran children as young as 1-1/2 years old on Monday in the first flight since President Obama pledged to speed up the process of sending back illegal immigrant minors from Central America. Fleeing violence and poverty, record numbers of children from Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala have crossed into the United States over the past year, sparking intense debate about how to solve the problem. Monday´s flight from New Mexico to San Pedro Sula, the city with the highest murder rate in the world, returned 17 Honduran women, as well as 12 girls and nine boys, aged

The Obama administration quietly announced on Tuesday that it intends to change the way Americans learn about natural disasters and other major emergencies during radio and TV broadcasts, giving the president the ability to flip a switch and address the entire nation at once. The Emergency Alert System, the latest version of a program first established in 1951, blasts out emergency messages in the event of local weather emergencies, but can also be used to warn Americans about terror attacks and major natural disasters. [Snip] It can take up to 10 minutes for every radio, TV, cable and satellite provider to

The First Lady of these United States has declared war on Chick-fil-A. It seems the home of plump juicy breasts and hot buttered buns has run afoul of the new Smart Snacks in School program. The program is a component of Mrs. Obama’s Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010. The new government regulations require snack items served in public schools to have less than two hundred calories. That includes vending machines, lunch rooms and other campus food venues. And that’s really bad news for kids at South Carolina’s Socastee High School. They’ve just learned they will no longer be allowed to buy Chick-fil-A

“Trust” is for Con Men: The reaction to the border chaos in Texas has accomplished one thing: It has exploded the lie at the heart of current “comprehensive” immigration reform plans. The basic structure of those plans is a swap of a) near-immediate legalization for b) increased border security in the future. The appealing idea is to let current illegals stay while taking the steps necessary to prevent further waves. The lie is the assumption that, once current illegals get their legalization, pro-immigrant activists in both parties will continue to support the second half of the bargain, the increased security. Contrary to what those who defend the right to own high-powered assault rifles believe, not all guns are created equal. Due to a combination of availability, portability and criminal usage the following five types of guns are the country's most dangerous. School Shootings: Widely Reported Tragedies Since 2000 - Using firearm trace data from the ATF, as well as FBI homicide records, we determined the types of guns most often recovered from crime scenes and/or used in murders. Senate Budget Committee ranking member Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) has warned all of his colleagues in Congress that President Barack Obama’s new immigration strategy—his plans to legalize millions of illegal alien adults through executive power—could destroy America as we know it. “I write to inform you of a development that threatens the foundation of our constitutional Republic,” Sessions, Congress’s top immigration hawk, wrote in a letter that was hand-delivered to all 535 members of Congress on Monday and provided exclusively to Breitbart News. Sessions cites a recent report from the National Journal, in which reporter Major Garrett detailed how, despite the ongoing

Attorney General Eric Holder encouraged Americans not to forget race while working for justice and equality in their country. “As it stands, our society is not yet color blind -- nor should it be -- given the disparities that still afflict and divide us.” Holder explained, “We must be color brave, and we must never forget that all are made better and more prosperous if all are given equal opportunities.” Holder made his remarks during a speech at Howard University on Tuesday for the 50th Anniversary Celebration of the Civil Rights Act. “We must take into account not only the

According to the Associated Press, Keller is "a married military veteran and newly elected senator who´s pushing for more gun control in Riverdale after his husband was involved in a shooting." Archie Comics´ publisher and co-CEO Jon Goldwater said the way in which Archie will die was carefully chosen. While he could have been killed saving "Betty" or saving "Veronica," doing so for Keller was something "that would really resonate

WASHINGTON — It was an enduring image of his presidency: a chastened Bill Clinton walking his dog while wife Hillary keeps her distance as the family leaves town at the height of the Monica Lewinsky scandal — but it was all part of a contrived public-repentance campaign, according to a new book. With Bill on the skids and his wife’s future prospects on the line, it was necessary for the pubic to see the president being punished, said Weekly Standard online editor Daniel Halper in his new book, “Clinton, Inc.: The Audacious Rebuilding of a Political Machine.” “They understood that

President Obama is known for being competitive on the basketball court, but he´s also apparently a cutthroat pool player. Gov. John Hickenlooper, D-Colo., told reporters at the National Governors Association meeting on Sunday that the president surprised him by beat him in two consecutive games. To add insult to injury, the two were playing at the Wynkoop Brewing Company, a bar that Hickenlooper co-founded. "You know I´ll tell ya -- the man is a shark," Hickenlooper told reporters, Time reports. "I was up a few balls. I felt pretty good. I was actually wondering whether how hard should I --
