Poland´s Walesa Says the

Warsaw, Poland - Poland’s former president and Nobel Peace laureate, Lech Walesa, says he plans to deliver some critical words to President Barack Obama when he visits Poland in June to mark 25 years since the country emerged from communism. Speaking to The Associated Press Friday, Walesa said the ‘‘world is disorganized and the superpower is not taking the lead.’’ The former Solidarity leader said that when he meets Obama in Warsaw, he wants to tell him that the U.S. should inspire and encourage the world into positive action. ‘‘I will say: Either you want to be a superpower and guide us, or you should give the superpower to

Sadly and ironically, when Lech Walesa speaks with Obama, it will be the meeting of two Nobel Peace Laureates.

Brave Lech richly deserved his Nobel Prize for leading the nearly bloodless revolution to overthrow Poland´s communist regime. Cowardly Obama received his prize for wanting to impose a communist regime on America through lies and deception but never his blood.

Walesa, you are right on the money. Because the drip who is the so called president of this country is leading from behind. Just because he is black, stupid and gay, the US is bending over backwards, no pun intended. If this gay weakling were white blacks would be marching on Washington, this according to the NAACP! But this is what Soros and the rest of this gang wanted. I guess they all have Swiss bank accounts and will quickly depart when it all falls apart. The first clown will be on AF1 and head for places unknown!
The US would gain greater world respect if they impeached this incompetent. But no,even the opposition does not uphold the constitution any longer and allows this black man get away with murder!

Echoes of a Strongman in Baghdad Today
New York Times, by Rod Nordland    Original Article

Baghdad - The ghost of Saddam Hussein still hangs over Iraq like a cloud stalking a sunny day; it doesn’t always cover the sun, but it never quite goes away. Prime Minister Nuri Kamal al-Maliki’s slide into strongman territory in the years since American troops left has been well documented. His government and security forces have harassed Sunni Arabs with baseless arrests, or by keeping them in jail beyond their mandated terms. And for Sunni militants caught by the security forces, summary execution has become increasingly common. Even as his Shiite-dominated government has been condemned for abusing Sunnis, however,

A conservative group is welcoming New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie to Iowa this week by accusing him of supporting “liberal” judges in the Garden State — as it looks to raise questions about whether conservatives can trust the Republican to ahead of a possible 2016 presidential run. The Judicial Crisis Network (JCN) said it was spending $75,000 on two online ads — one 15 seconds long and another 90 seconds — that say Mr. Christie has missed a number of chances to change the “liberal” makeup of the New Jersey Supreme Court and has worked with Democrats. “Over and over, Chris Christie said he would fix it, remake the court

Salem, Massachusetts, put an end to a long-time contract with the Christian-based Gordon College after administrators refused to cave to the gay-rights movement and remove a ban on “homosexual behavior” among students and staff. (Snip) The contract, in place since 2008, was actually due to wrap in August, but Salem officials decided to use the opt-out clause and exit the agreement early, The Blaze reported. “The city had the option of opting out early,” Mr. Sweeney told the Christian Post. “When the college became part of a public controversy over attention on longstanding behavioral standards we have as a private Christian institution,

Marine jailed in Mexico says first

The U.S. Marine who has spent months in a Mexican jail on guns charges said on “On the Record with Greta Van Susteren” Monday that his first hearing in the case did not go as he had expected, as a language barrier prevented him from speaking directly to the judge. A Mexican federal judge sent Sgt. Tahmooressi told Fox News’ Greta Van Susteren in a phone interview he had hoped to look the judge in the eyes when he

Sen. Marco Rubio says the immigration bill he helped push through the Senate would not have stopped the surge of children crossing the southwestern border illegally, breaking with his “Gang of Eight” co-authors who are urging the bill’s passage. “I don’t think the immigration bill that was proposed in the Senate would have prevented that from happening,” the Florida Republican told The Washington Times. “What I think would have prevented that from happening is sufficient border security on the ground that would have discouraged people from making that journey in the first place.”

California is embarking on a first-of-its-kind attempt to improve the academic lives of foster youth by giving schools more money to meet their special learning and emotional needs and holding educators and administrators accountable. But first, officials have to figure out how many school-age foster children they have and where they are enrolled in a state that´s home to nearly one-fifth of the nation´s foster children. Until now, no state has attempted to identify every foster child in its public schools or to systematically track their progress, much less funnel funds toward those students or require school districts to show they are spending

Westminster, MD - As news spread this weekend that undocumented immigrant children might soon live in a former military facility in this town, graffiti appeared on the one-story brick building: “No illeagles here. No undocumented Democrats.” Aside from the misspelling — which prompted some snickering about sick birds of prey as a photo circulated on Facebook on Sunday — the scrawled message was a manifestation of the bitter national debate over how the government should treat these undocumented children. Tens of thousands of unaccompanied Central American children have arrived on the southwest border

How Palin’s Call for Impeachment

Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin first made her case for the impeachment of President Barack Obama here. She next explained her argument at FoxNews.com. Last week I explained in a Think Tank post why I thought Ms. Palin’s idea is a very bad one. I want to return to Ms. Palin’s recommendation in order to make a broader point about conservatism. Ms. Palin is not only championing the impeachment of President Obama; she also was a cheerleader for the tactic that led to the government shutdown last October. That turned out to be a disaster for the GOP and conservatism, and it achieved nothing useful.

A county executive from Long Island, N.Y., used the Bible app on an iPad to be sworn in last year and a few months ago a group of firefighters from New Jersey huddled around a Kindle Bible when they took their oath. What’s transpiring on the Texas-Mexico border could turn out to be an even bigger story than many of us realize. What could be bigger than a humanitarian crisis, with thousands of children caught in the cross-fire between lawless Latin American regimes and the lawless regime in our White House? What could be bigger than potentially allowing scores of criminals and other ne’er-do-wells to use these children as human shields that allow them to enter our country illegally? It was two weeks before news was reported on the sole child death acknowledged by the Obama administration, Gilberto Ramos, a 15 year-old boy from Guatemala whose body was found in the Texas brush dead from the

The First Lady of these United States has declared war on Chick-fil-A. It seems the home of plump juicy breasts and hot buttered buns has run afoul of the new Smart Snacks in School program. The program is a component of Mrs. Obama’s Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010. The new government regulations require snack items served in public schools to have less than two hundred calories. That includes vending machines, lunch rooms and other campus food venues. And that’s really bad news for kids at South Carolina’s Socastee High School. “Trust” is for Con Men: The reaction to the border chaos in Texas has accomplished one thing: It has exploded the lie at the heart of current “comprehensive” immigration reform plans. The basic structure of those plans is a swap of a) near-immediate legalization for b) increased border security in the future. The appealing idea is to let current illegals stay while taking the steps necessary to prevent further waves. The lie is the assumption that, once current illegals get their legalization, pro-immigrant activists in both parties will continue to support the second half of the bargain, the increased security.
