The Veterans Scandal:
Socialized Medicine on Trial

PJ Media, by Roger L. Simon

Original Article

Posted By:StormCnter, 5/23/2014 4:28:35 AM

Many have wondered about Barack Obama’s prolonged silence concerning the disastrous situation at the Veterans Administration hospitals and then his odd detached demeanor (well, maybe not that odd for him) when he finally did discuss it at a press conference. The answer is simple. His lifetime dream of a free public (single payer) healthcare system for all just disintegrated in front of him. Forget the wildly ambitious and pervasive “Affordable Care Act,” the government couldn’t even handle the health of our wounded servicemen, acknowledged for years to be by far the group most deserving of medical attention in our country.

This is the point in this scandal the Left simply can´t allow to be heard. So obvious, yet many Americans will not see this reality. Thanks for your part in trying to spread the word, Mr Simon.

...both Rand Paul and Andrea Tantaros said substantially the same thing I did — making the analogy between socialized medicine and the VA debacle — on Fox Thursday night.

....more than a week or two after Rush Limbaugh said the same thing on his radio show -- in detail.

Love him or hate him, Limbaugh is prescient. It would behoove his detractors to listen more closely to his predictions and analyses. Most tend to be on target, especially this one about the VA hospitals.

Yet his supporters persist. Last week, I was pilloried on Amazon by Obama people for comments posted there about our Traitor-in-Chief.

They don´t seem to get it; more likely, they continue to idolize him.

This is a shining example of how our government will run a health system for the rest of us. They will complain that the "system" is overwhelmed. Many doctors will refuse to work for the government, so we will have to wait in line to see the PA and pray we can get a referral to a doctor outside the "system". Those who can afford it and are ambulatory will be joining the Canadians and English flying to foreign countries to see that good surgeon who used to work in our country.

If it was President Romney, the msm would already be reporting this story wall to wall and Chrissie Matthews would already be peeing in his pants in glee at the thought of a presidential investigation with Romney as the star witness.

Socialized medicine on trial. Who would have thought? To the VA whistleblowers, we thank you.

If you are to be ruled by an ideologue, it helps greatly if he is incompetent. If your dream is the single payer government run health care system, only a self absorbed, arrogant, lazy, faux leader surrounded by sycophants, could fail to appreciate the correlation between the VA and the ACA. If he were competent they would have had the vision to deal with the VA issues years ago, and leverage the VA in support of the ACA. Alas, (thank God) the VA scandal may be the thing that makes the connection with the lofo voters.

Impeach Gen. Shinseki. The hearings in the House for the Articles of Impeachment and the evidence presented during a trial in the Senate will create all the publicity that´s needed to shine the light on this disaster. No one can criticize the House (or the larger Congress) for trying to hold someone responsible for this homicidal debacle. If POTUS won´t act because he´s dishonest, partisan, weak, mean spirited, and incompetent, fine. Impeachment is a totally supportable and Constitutionally correct procedure. Whether the Senate ultimately convicts Shinseki is less important than using this legitimate process to help fix the problem and inform the American people.

I hope that Rush makes note, also, that the scandal at the Veterans´ Hospitals intersect with the whole question of amnesty for illegals. Our vets cannot get the care that they need and deserve at our veterans´ hospitals, and yet emergency waiting rooms are full of non-vets who are here illegally and get first-class, same-day care. Not fair.

Malfeasance seems to be the order of the day, but how about competence? Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I am of the opinion that docs working for the federal system do not have to pass state licensing boards, and are not subject to their standards. Has the federal system also become a haven for lousy doctors?

Congratulations always, to Roger L Simon, founder of PJMedia, former commie sympathizing Hollywood writer,
who early on, before it was fashionable, had an epiphany, and daringly wrote, TURNING RIGHT ON HOLLYWOOD & VINE ! What a gutsy guy!

His marvelous depiction of Obama craze "disintegrating"
is a classic. The VA preview of "death panel" communist
medical prison, validates all the unpopular predictions from Sarah and Rush Limbaugh. They were "right on" !

The avalanche of thousands of people whistleblowing, is the non violent turning point in American history. It will lead to more and more Benghazi, IRS, Fast &Furious,
Catholic alien invader smuggling, whistleblowers, no longer afraid of being Vince Foster "suicided" by the lying successor of Bill and Hilary. (Remember all of their friends who died mysteriously?)

The open bureaucratic brutality of the VA, has unwittingly sprung open the doors of all other censored government armed force brutalities. The network and
NYTimes cover up Party Line system is now exposed.

The work of talk radio Rush, Glenn, the internet Drudge
Breitbart, Lucianne, Fox News TV (the only TV truth),
Internet journalists, like Roger L, from all over the world, have done its heroic ground breaking foundation work.

And now, this massive whistleblowing of VA crime breaks down and attacks the multi crimes of the Diane Sawyers, and all of her censoring propagandists.

A country that will turn it´s back on young men (and women) that have been seriously injured and/or maimed in combat in service to their country should be overthrown and have a new country (government) created. Period! And just remember, all of these young people have joined the military with their own free will. There is NO draft or conscription in this country any more.

Court documents filed by the U.S. Justice Department in the criminal case against Benghazi attack suspect Ahmed Abu Khatallah provide unprecedented details about the evolution of the assault and further shatter the Obama administration´s initial claim that it sprouted from protests over an anti-Islam film. The narrative that the video played a role continues to live on, with former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton saying recently that some of the attackers may indeed have been influenced by the online video. But the Justice Department´s court filings make clear that at least those spearheading the attack were part of a "conspiracy," one that

We all know the story of American independence, don’t we? A rugged frontier people became increasingly tired of being ruled by a distant elite. A group calling themselves Patriots were especially unhappy about being taxed by a parliament in which they were unrepresented. When, in 1775, British Redcoats tried to repress them, a famous Patriot called Paul Revere rode through the night across eastern Massachusetts, crying “The British are coming!” The shots that were fired the next day began a war for independence which culminated the following year in the statehouse in Philadelphia, when George Washington and others, meeting under

Political courage these days is generally defined as a politician doing something that might make it harder to get re-elected. Real civic leadership has always been about convincing people to do what’s right and hard rather than what’s popular and easy. Courage is part of that. People are less likely to follow a leader who asks them to sacrifice and struggle when he or she will not. But now, that sacrifice generally refers to a politician having to spend more of other peoples’ money on a primary election contest or, in rare cases, moving to a lucrative career in punditry or influence

President Obama has, except on fleeting occasions, routinely disdained the customary Oval Office language of compromise and coalition-building for the low arts of sophistry and belittlement. That was to be expected, given his background as a Chicago community organizer and product of that city´s corrupt Democrat political machine. But Obama has far exceeded dismal expectations. No previous American president employed the systematic distortion of fact and mendacious characterization of opponents that have typified Obama´s presidency. His "so sue me" speech last week is a classic illustration of the community organizer practicing Saul Alinsky´s 13th rule: “Pick the target, freeze it, personalize

A new Pew survey found that 44 percent of Americans don’t often feel pride in being an American, and only 28 percent said that America is the greatest country in the world. Respondents who “often feel proud to be American” were overwhelmingly conservative (from 72 percent to 81 percent, depending on the kind of conservative).
