Amnesty By Any Means Necessary

The Obama administration is determined to continue mocking the separation of powers concept contained in the Constitution. Thus, the president is contemplating another unilateral move with regard to illegal immigration, allowing some illegal aliens brought here as children to serve in the United States military. The move is an outgrowth of another unilateral decision made by Obama, known as the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA). DACA provided work permits and deferred action from deportation to approximately 500,000 younger illegals who met certain eligibility criteria. The Defense Department “continues to examine the laws and policies that address the eligibility of noncitizens

If Obama was a Republican president he would have already been impeached. It´s shocking and outrageous what the Marxist is able to get away with. Who would have ever imagined with the election of Obama we would have the perfect storm for the destruction of this country.

Hey Dems, just remember that the "Military" votes mostly Republican !!!

Sending these illegals to the Military will likely change them, and you will lose their vote !!!

So the Democrats want to kick tens of thousands of US military veterans out of the Army and Marines because of big budget cuts and at the same time want to establish essentially new affirmative action programs allowing illegal aliens "Dreamers" to enlist in the military and attend the military academies. Unless the Democrats can sucker enough Republicans to give them political cover this proposal, if enacted, is going to be very bad politics for the Democrats once it comes to the attention of national veterans organizations. since the military Academies were established to train future US military commissioned officers who must be US citizens.

Ninety percent of the mostly teen illegal immigrants flooding over the Mexico-U.S. border won’t show up for their immigration court hearing, meaning at least 135,000 of the youths will simply vanish into the country this year alone, according to a key House committee chairman. House Judiciary Chairman Rep. Bob Goodlatte, who on Wednesday held a hearing to raise national security concerns about the new wave of illegals, revealed Thursday that many of the teens are placed with relatives, including parents who are in the U.S. illegally, and then ignore court orders to appear for immigration hearings. ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — Guzzlers prevailed Thursday as New York´s highest court refused to reinstate New York City´s ban on the sale of big sodas, ruling that the city´s health department overstepped its bounds when approved the 16-ounce cap on sugary beverages. The court largely ignored the merits of the ban in the 20-page ruling but determined the city´s Board of Health engaged in policy-making, and not simply health regulations, when it imposed the restrictions on restaurants, delis, movie theaters, stadiums and street cart vendors. "The Board of Health engaged in law-making beyond its regulatory authority," the opinion reads. "... It is

TUCSON, Arizona--It appears the United Nations knew about the growing humanitarian crisis on our southwest border before the White House did. On March 12, 2014, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) launched a report titled Children on the Run: Unaccompanied Children Leaving Central America and Mexico and the Need for International Protection. The report “analyzes the humanitarian impact this insecurity [in Central America] has had on children, forcing them across international borders to seek safety on their own.” The UNHCR stated in conjunction with the March launch, “the US government estimated, and is on track to reach, 60,000 children

Immigration reform effectively

The two-year attempt to push immigration reform through Congress is effectively dead and unlikely to be revived until after President Obama leaves office, numerous lawmakers and advocates on both sides of the issue said this week. The slow collapse of hopes for new border legislation — which has unraveled in recent months amid persistent opposition from House Republicans — marks the end of an effort that both Democrats and Republicans have characterized as central to the future of their parties. The failure leaves some 12 million illegal immigrants in continuing limbo over their status and is certain to increase political pressure

The president will travel to Minneapolis on Thursday and spend a day “in the shoes” of a mystery woman identified only as Rebekah. The woman, whose last name has yet to be revealed, recently wrote a letter to Mr. Obama, inspiring the president to visit her and learn more about her daily struggles. The Supreme Court delivered a blow Thursday to President Obama, ruling that he went too far in making recess appointments to the National Labor Relations Board. In a unanimous decision, the high court ruled in favor of Senate Republicans and limited the president´s power to fill high-level vacancies with temporary appointments. The court upheld the general authority of the president to make recess appointments, but said Obama lacked the power to fill slots at the NLRB during a brief, three-day Senate recess in 2012. Obama had argued that the Senate was on an extended holiday break and that the brief sessions it held

Sen. Chuck Schumer (D., N.Y.) attributed the surge of illegal immigrants along the Texas border to a quirk in the law that treats unaccompanied children, for humanitarian purposes, as different from adult migrants. Mr. Schumer, speaking Wednesday at a Wall Street Journal breakfast in Washington, said U.S. officials must adapt to smugglers changing their tactics. Enacting the comprehensive immigration reform package the Senate passed last year, he said, mark a good first step. “All the people who were saying, ‘The border! That’s the reason not to pass immigration reform,’ that’s a contradictory argument,” Mr. Schumer said. “Keep the status quo?

The U.S. Supreme Court curbed the president’s power to make temporary appointments without Senate approval, backing congressional Republicans and dealing a blow to President Barack Obama. The justices ruled unanimously that Obama exceeded his constitutional authority when he appointed three members of the National Labor Relations Board in January 2012. Four justices would have gone further in limiting the appointment power.

Mother Jones editor David Corn noted today that Republicans finally managed to reach out to black voters and the tea party went crazy. In a clip flagged by RCP, Corn told Hardball guest host Steve Kornacki that the Mississippi Senate race this week just makes the race issues within the GOP more evident. The topic of discussion was tea party challenger Chris McDaniel and whether he could actually pose a serious threat to the GOP in the fall. Corn half-joked that tea partiers could vote for the Democrat to punish Cochran, but more seriously, he observed, “The Republican party has been

With a surprisingly wide margin of victory, Congressman James Lankford won the Oklahoma Republican U.S. Senate primary, defeating former Speaker of the State House of Representatives T.W. Lankford now becomes the prohibitive favorite to replace outgoing Senator Tom Coburn, who is retiring with two years remaining in his current term. This was a very different race from the one taking place in Mississippi. Thad Cochran’s political resurrection began with a campaign shakeup and ended with a Hail Mary television ad. Just three weeks ago, in the dead of night on June 3, the Mississippi senator’s staff sat shaken and dejected, crestfallen at the results of a primary that deprived the six-term incumbent of an electoral majority. With Cochran forced into a runoff fight against an aggressive and energetic challenger, a dark mood shadowed his backers in Washington and Mississippi.Yet almost immediately, the Cochran coalition began bouncing back. Even on that gloomy night of June 3, Cochran adviser Stuart Stevens was insisting to staffers: “We’re

National conservative groups are angry after incumbent Mississippi Sen. Thad Cochran pulled off a victory in the state’s GOP run-off — likely because of his campaign’s outreach to Democratic voters. “It’s disgraceful that self-described GOP leaders like Mitch McConnell, John McCain, the Chamber of Commerce and the NRSC would champion a campaign platform of pork barrel spending and insider deal-making, while recruiting Democrats to show up at the polls,” Matt Kibbe of FreedomWorks said after the results came in. Tuesday’s closely-watched run-off came after conservative state Sen. Chris McDaniel edged Cochran in votes in the initial election earlier this month.
