´I will not stand for it:´ Obama speaks
out on misconduct at VA hospitals

New York Daily News, by Leslie Larson

President Obama declared his outrage at allegations of misconduct at VA hospitals at a Wednesday press conference after an Oval Office meeting with Veterans Affairs Secretary Eric Shinseki. "I will not stand for it — not as commander in chief, but also not as an American,” he told reporters as furor grows over allegations of treatment delays and preventable deaths at the health care facilities. The VA Inspector General’s office said late Tuesday that 26 facilities are being investigated nationwide — up from 10 just last week — including a Phoenix hospital where 40 veterans allegedly died while waiting for treatment and

He´s not really President, he just stars in a movie called "Mr. President". Extremely popular with LOFOs.

Obama´s administration is a farce.
Misconduct is the name of the game, VA, IRS, DOJ, TSA, ICE. NONE of these are serving the American Peoples´ interest.

Well he stood around and did nothing while
our Ambassador and three other Americans were murdered
why would he change now.

This is the model for the patients under obamacare.

I keep remembering back to early Law And Order when Ben Stone(Moriarty) remarked about a Judges ruling.
"What an idiot."

Every other day Obama invites the same response.

Could not watch this too painful, I was afraid he might throw a baseball again and we all know how bad that looks. However, did he draw a sign in the sand or talk about a red line? I know he is "mad as hell" but is that hopping mad or real mad or really, really mad? The bureaucrats at the VA, like all enemies of America must be quivering with fear.

The president has spoken. As far as his sycophants in the CrapMedia are concerned, the problem has been solved. He found out about it in from watching t.v. Nobody told him there was trouble in the V.A. Nobody told him the IRS was targeting conservative organizations, nobody told him about 4 dead Americans in Benghazi. It´s difficult to get word to the president when he is on the golf course.

It seems as if nobody in his God awful regime has the guts to tell him anything. Let me make a suggestion. When you want him to know something important, why not just tell his daughter Sasha. She is probably the only person alive who can bring him bad news and not get yelled at. What harm could it do?

No one has been removed, the FBI has not been called in, the guy who has been in charge for the last 6 years and knew of the problem is charged with finding the solution - kind of like saying you are going to get rid of a gopher by burying it alive, sounds serious accomplishes nothing.

As many who post here know, I am a total supporter of these hospitals, being a user for over a dozen years of the Bonham & Dallas VA hospitals. First, let me say that most are being played a "sleight-of-hand, like both 0bama & PIAPS have been "successfully" maneuvering over the Benghazi cover-up began. As you see, even the deck chairs weren´t moved and the tension remains ratcheted up by the talking points LSM.

Simply put, the problems are an every failing Congress [this has been going on before I served in the late ´60s] and their lack of grasp of taking care of their fighting forces. They mix the military industrial complex who supports with modern weapon systems, and the service person who is the end user. Congress has this obscene idea that our tax money is best spent on all their never ending social engineering programs, that are no longer masked as vote getters for the dRATS, than those who are tasked to protect them and our Country.

Simply put, as there is no other true answer, 0bama, the Pentagon, and Hagel must all be perp walked before US. We know this won´t happen, so those serving and those seeking the benefits will always suffer more for their love of Country.

One last thing. This should be a shot across the bow for Congress to fight against the 0bama programs (grants) that take our tax dollars away from FIRST taking care of our fighting forces, before and after their service is complete. That includes their immediate families.

I am actually relieved that he hasn´t dumped Shinseki. Removing him and naming a new VA head would simply delay any action. Make the man who has been in charge do what is necessary to be done and the guy in the Oval Office needs to give veterans regular updates so we at least know he is remaining aware. I don´t want to hear from Jay Carney what steps have been taken.

It amazes me that the so-called "President" comes out on this issue seemingly outraged and yet not one word of action ever came out of his mouth...instead, he´s going to wait for advice, let the investigation proceed, find those "accountable" (which he never, ever does). Time is his friend and the the short collective memory of the American public and media. A new scandal or natural disaster, or overseas excitement, a few words about the "emergency" of Global Warming and all this will blow over, just like the Benghazi disaster...soon all we´ll hear about this VA mess is, "That was more than a year ago! Can´t we just move on?"

A genuine hissy fit ! Feigned madness. Right out of the silent movie comedies. Did not see it, Don´t need to see it.
Total fakery. As usual. A hateful person in the wrong place.
Needs to be removed before the hate is increased even more.

The real tragedy is that the Boehners, Cantors, Rubios, Mitch McConnells, McLains Roves all the old timers get get all the Fox News time sadly, all those guys are not screaming their lungs out over this grotesque person, they´re all aging like
pleasant faced actors where nothing is wrong.
They´re all backing up this insanity by saying nothing.
And balanced Fox allows it (despite the good things they do).
The good news is that hundreds, maybe thousands of vets and families are finally going to have their say .... whistleblowing en masse !
That could actually stir up a lot of other silent Americans.
After all, the feds can´t kill or muzzle EVERY objector,
not if you´re are millions of them!

YES Congress has to share the blame for the failure of the VA.
Every year, there is a Bill that has lots of co-sponsors that languishes.
In this Congress, it is HR 32 to give justice to the widows of those fallen.
How about moving and passing this Bill?
GOLD Star wives are watching and waiting, and waiting and waiting.

I watched that excruciating display of arrogance and as always was infuriated. They might as well put a cardboard figure of Obama up there and play a tape because he says the same thing over and over again that means absolutely nothing. What made it even worse is that he only took a couple of questions from reporters like he couldn´t be bothered by the whole thing, which we know is true. He should have stood there and taken many questions, but we know that will never happen with this no account Marxist dictator. Of course he didn´t call on anyone like Ed Henry.

If he cared about this problem, he would have done something before now. Presidents don´t learn things about their own administrations from TV and newspapers. They know about them before things hit TV and newspapers. Their staff ensures that.

Obama knew -- or should have known -- and did nothing about the VA hospitals and made no effort to learn anything -- UNTIL it hurt him.

Message: Obama doesn´t give a damn unless it affects his image or his agenda.

How could this man have been elected TWICE? Beyond me. Except that the media will protect him at all cost.

Recommendations on how the VA can "up their game?" Are you kidding me??? They don´t have a game to "up" unless its the game they´re playing to shaft veterans and game their own system! This is criminal and treasonous--not an opportunity for the presidential mouth to make promises with no weight behind them. An underperforming salesman "ups his game." A bureaucracy that is responsible for the deaths and mistreatment of Americans is NO GAME. The language the president uses is shameful and only emphasizes his impotence to lead.

If patients were dieing while waiting for care at an HMO outside of ObamaCare, the FBI would be all over it. There is a huge lawsuit coming for wrongful death or negligent homicide. So far, this is the only government run healthcare in the nation. Look what we have to look forward to in single provider medicine and demand the repeal of ObamaCare after the 2014 elections.

If he spent as much time sitting in the oval office and in official meetings (instead of sending the faux pRez) as he does on AF1 and a golf cart, he might know what is going on.

If one of the donors didn´t pay up, he would know for sure.

These words are coming from the same dinglebarry who tried to deny access to national monuments to the veterans who own them for the spiteful reason of making the shutdown that he caused create pain for them.

All respect for this little boy is gone, respect for his office is gone. He´s just a pair of purple lips flapping in the wind.

I do sympathize with the families of those honored brothers who died as a result of the neglect of the VA system. But make no mistake, this goes far beyond that. It is a culture of corruption (falsifying records to receive bonuses), cover up (destroying records) and denial of services to veterans who are entitled to the services by way of their sacrifices. I went into the Spokane, WA VA center to have a re-evaluation of my disability from service in Viet Nam. They sent me home saying it was not an issue and was in my head. I was suffering from GERD from exposure to Agent Orange. Six months later my wife got me to the emergency room unconscious. My gall bladder had died and had turned Gang greneous in my body and was releasing the poisons. My liver was damaged and I still suffer the effects of it. I was unconscious for two days and the local ER docs told her that a couple of hours later, I would not have made it. The VA gave me a clean bill of health and did not even record my concerns. You cannot convince me that this was not pervasive throughout the system. Deny service, save money, get a bonus.

I wonder why Barack Hussein and his democrat Enemedia are talking about the Veteran Administration murders. Are they covering up Syria, Ukraine, Libya or what?

The search is on for two presenters to join Whoopi Goldberg and Rosie O’Donnell on ABC’s daytime chat show, while a backstage battle for control has left Barbara Walters out of the driver’s seat. When ABC’s long-popular daytime program The View returns in September for its 18th season, creator Barbara Walters will no longer have an ownership stake, and longtime executive producer Bill Geddie won’t be at the helm. “He won’t be back,” a person familiar with the inner workings of the show told The Daily Beast, confirming one of the major changes--including the enforced departures of panelists Sherri Shepherd

Federal employees, like all Americans, are entitled to hold passionate political beliefs. Most executive branch federal employees, however, may not engage in certain political activities, thanks to an anti-conflict of interest principle enshrined in a federal law called the Hatch Act. To wit, President Bush requested the resignation of his GSA administrator in 2008 after the US Office of Special Counsel determined she had violated federal law by participating in a video conference with Karl Rove and sending out partisan letters. (The New York Times was scandalized at the time, though I strangely can´t find their editorial calling for Kathleen

NEW YORK – Conservative filmmaker Dinesh D´Souza wants to know why his latest docudrama "America: Imagine the World Without Her" was buried by mega search engine Google. "I certainly hope this is not intentional. But how long does it take a technical company to fix a technical problem? “D´Souza told FOX411. “We´re trying to be patient, but this is making it harder for people to get accurate information about the film." Here´s the technical problem: When one normally searches the name of a current movie plus the word “movie” in Google, showtimes and more information for the film typically show up. “America”

Seventeen percent of people in the United States say immigration is the nation’s top problem, according to a Gallup poll released Wednesday. That´s up from 5 percent in June, and is the highest number Gallup has registered for immigration since 2006, when 15 percent said it was the nation´s most pressing problem. Gallup’s new survey found immigration is virtually tied with “dissatisfaction with government” as the nation´s top problem. The economy and unemployment rank below immigration and “dissatisfaction with government" as top problems, the new poll found. Only 8 percent now rate healthcare as the top problem, down from 16 percent in January, when

The headlines last week were all about the potential windfall: A second appraisal of works in the Detroit Institute of Arts´ collection had come in and the number was several orders of magnitude larger than the first. The city needs a valuation because the museum´s collection is in play under the current municipal bankruptcy proceeding. Back in December, Christie´s had come in with $454 million to $867 million, that low-high figure the equivalent of an auction "estimate" ranging between a number below which a work won´t sell and another representing its likely maximum hammer price. How would you feel if someone promised to give you a car, and then reneged on that pledge? That’s how all Americans should feel when it comes to ObamaCare -- because Barack Obama’s failed and discredited campaign promise to lower health insurance premiums has cost the average American family an amount equal to the price of many new cars. During his 2008 campaign, one of then-Senator Obama’s most audacious promises was that his health plan would reduce premiums by $2,500 for the average family. His repeatedly made his pledge on videotape; you can view those promises here. But health insurance premiums

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has identified a massive new threat to domestic airline security. No, it’s not ISIS, Al Qaeda, or the Taliban. It’s the dead battery on your smartphone. Last week, TSA announced what it called “enhanced security measures” in which passengers will be required to power up their cell phones before boarding their flight. According to Department of Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson, TSA has “assesse[d] the global threat environment and reevaluate[d] the measures we take to promote aviation security.” Your cell phone is evidently part of a “global threat environment,” and so it must be turned on in order

The Congressional Budget Office’s (CBO) latest report says that although the federal deficit this year is the lowest of the Obama era, in the near future, it is expected to skyrocket to World War II heights. The years between 2009 and 2012 saw the largest recorded federal government deficits since 1946, based on percentage of the economy. And although the White House also reported that the deficit this year is the lowest of the Obama administration, there is little reason for celebration. Currently, the amount of federal debt is exactly 74 percent of the economy, and if measures aren’t taken to reign

CNN chose to describe the recently detained Jose Antonio Vargas, longtime journalist for U.S. publications and legal citizen of the Philippines, as a “symbol of the immigration debate.” The news network aired his documentary, Undocumented, several times. At the heart of Vargas’s viewpoint — and CNN’s decision to refer to him as a symbol, as opposed to, say, a scofflaw — is the notion that it is unfair to deny citizenship to him, considering his circumstances. Vargas came to the United States from the Philippines when he was 12 and didn’t learn he was in the country illegally until he was

The First Lady of these United States has declared war on Chick-fil-A. It seems the home of plump juicy breasts and hot buttered buns has run afoul of the new Smart Snacks in School program. The program is a component of Mrs. Obama’s Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010. The new government regulations require snack items served in public schools to have less than two hundred calories. That includes vending machines, lunch rooms and other campus food venues. And that’s really bad news for kids at South Carolina’s Socastee High School. “Trust” is for Con Men: The reaction to the border chaos in Texas has accomplished one thing: It has exploded the lie at the heart of current “comprehensive” immigration reform plans. The basic structure of those plans is a swap of a) near-immediate legalization for b) increased border security in the future. The appealing idea is to let current illegals stay while taking the steps necessary to prevent further waves. The lie is the assumption that, once current illegals get their legalization, pro-immigrant activists in both parties will continue to support the second half of the bargain, the increased security. With Bill on the skids and his wife’s future prospects on the line, it was necessary for the pubic to see the president being punished, said Weekly Standard online editor Daniel Halper in his new book, “Clinton, Inc.: The Audacious Rebuilding of a Political Machine.” “They understood that
