Howard Dean: ´Republicans Aren´t American"
Power Line, by John Hinderaker

A terrible sort of insanity has gripped the Democratic Party. On almost a daily basis, when you see the party’s leaders in action, you want to start edging toward the door, murmuring “Nice doggie. Nice doggie.” Today it was Howard Dean (filmed a week ago, but seen on YouTube today). He was addressing a Democratic crowd in Colorado, and went off on a tirade against Republicans. Yes, he really did say that Republicans aren’t American. And that they should stay away from the United States, and go to Russia where they belong. One gets the feeling that if the Democrats

Howard Dean is a worm.
I see his ability to distort fantasy into truth, with silly, provocative pronouncements hasnt diminished over the years since he was seeking the highest office on the Democrat ticket.
To think that this man was once a medical doctor! Certifiably insane!

The Liberals see themselves losing BIG in November and they are becoming unhinged. This is one time when I would advise the Republicans to stay silent. First because these loons don´t need any help destroying themselves with average American voters. And second it would be difficult to respond without looking as crazy as they are.

Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it." Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy.

Most of us have known for years that Howard Dean, the trust fund baby, is a nut. But we are learning Howard Dean really is not stable. It may be time to institute an intervention and have Howard Dean institutionalized for his own protection - and ours.

To quote the great Hank Hill, "that boy ain´t right."

The article and #12 are spot on. Dem leader like Pelosi and Reid are not conducting themselves rationally. Other reps and Sens are doing some pretty crazy things, too. Unfortunately, it´s not being played up much in the press, so the average American isn´t seeing the insanity.

"Republicans Aren´t American"? Somehow The Dark Side´s "Howlin´ Mad" Howie´s words don´t have the "ring of truth"---coming from a self-confessed "ski bum" and certified draft dodging heir to the vast Dean Witter fortune, raised in the ultra-exclusive environs of Upper Manhattan, East Hampton, St. George´s School and The Maidstone Club.

Actually, I wouldn´t joke about this. I see it as a declaration of intent. What Dean, Reid, and a growing number of Democrats are starting to openly say is that they see ordinary Americans who disagree with their socialist agenda as domestic enemies.

And what would be the logical conclusion of this logic? I suspect it would be the criminalization of conservative speech and the outlawing and possible arrest of Republican Party members (and certainly that of Tea Party members). Don´t laugh. These nuts are serious. It´s what communists do once they get in charge and believe they can´t be uprooted (see "amnesty").

This is remarkable. Howard Dean is campaigning for a Democrat running for Congress named Andrew Romanoff, which is Americanized “Romanov,” a Russian name. Dean is telling anyone who doesn’t support Romanov that they are not American and should go back to Russia. Uh …. wait a minute. What?

It’s easy to call him crazy, but let’s try this on for a minute. The Romanov family were the ruling family of Imperial Russia. Who were their opponents? The Bolsheviks, Lenin, Kamenev, Trotsky ….

Romanov is running against Mike Coffman, which is Americanized “Kaufmann,” a Jewish name. Who else was Jewish? Lenin, Kamenev, Trotsky ….. See where this is going?

Is Howard Dean really crazy, or is his rant just a cleverly calculated bit of dog-whistle anti-Semitism? You’re not American. Go back to Russia. Amazing.

“Down dog. Sit. Stay.” I get it now.

You see, Howard was never questioned here in Vermont. The media was in his corner. With his summer home in the gay enclave of East Hampton, Long Island, all he did was sign the first civil unions bill in the country (no pictures of the event -- he did it in "the closet"), and he got enough money to run for President.
He started out championing a bike path. Don´t let this happen to your state!

Mr. Hinderaker knows as well as anyone that the disease seizing Democrats is virulent and probably slow-growing. Dean can´t get well, but he has no insight into his condition nor the need for medication. Dean is a prime candidate for medical intervention or a conservator. I believe the condition is known as Barking Mad.

To think that Howard Dean actually had the intelligence to make it through medical school. What happened?

Read up on Dean´s brother Charlie, who was wandering around southeast Asia in 1974, (why?) apparently captured by the Pathet Lao, and eventually murdered. Perhaps that horrific event has driven Dean ´round the bend.

Experts on both sides believe he doesn’t have the credibility or ability to do any good if he shows up there. The influx of children across our southern border is troubling. First, because they are not all children — not by a sight — but images of children are useful for stirring emotions to muddy the policy waters. Second, because it is not all that unusual: As the Wall Street Journal reports, between 23,000 and 47,000 minors illegally entered the United States and were apprehended in each of the past five years; in 2013, we ordered only 3,525 deportations, suggesting that something on the order of nine in ten, or more, of minor illegal aliens — again, of the number apprehended — are allowed to stay. It’s somewhat ironic that CNN is, today, touting the premier of their new show The Hunt (with John Walsh) tonight at the same time as they are still featuring the documentary Documented by Jose Antonio Vargas. The irony – since they seem oblivious to it – is that the former is a show dedicated to catching criminals who are on the loose, while the latter is produced by one of the people we should ostensibly be looking for. We have written several times about the logjam on visas for foreign interpreters who served our military during Iraq and Afghanistan wars. The logjam has been particularly egregious for Afghan interpreters. Even Democrats are appalled. Sen. Failing to act puts lives at further risk and hurts our credibility around the globe. Rep. Alexis de Tocqueville once said that the limits placed on the central power in the new world are different from the limits placed on national power in the old world. In the New World, the national government has jurisdiction in certain specific areas. It is prohibited by law and custom from transgressing the boundaries of its jurisdiction. In that sense its power is severely limited. But within those boundaries it is sovereign and almost completely beyond challenge. If something such as war or taxing power is deemed a ‘federal matter,’ challenges to that power, for example the Whiskey Rebellion, were

It’s true what they say about Michelle Obama. She has amazing arms. I saw this up close when she unfurled her bare right limb in front of me Thursday night, while the two of us were doing tapas at the jumping Barcelona on 14th Street NW. Clearly the first lady works out, clearly she moisturizes and clearly L’Oréal should hire her as its pitchwoman after she leaves 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. “Ma’am, you rock,” I wanted to tell her, even though I was seated a table away from her party of eight, which included White House chef Sam Kass, and was

In his weekly radio/YouTube address, President Obama derided House Republicans’ planned lawsuit against him, warning that GOP lawmakers will spend taxpayer dollars on a frivolous legal challenge. “It’s a political stunt that’s going to waste months of America’s time. And by the way, they’re going to pay for it using your hard-earned tax dollars,” Obama said. (Video) House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, has orchestrated the beginnings of a lawsuit against the president over his use of executive authority. As the White House and the GOP-controlled House have failed to compromise on a slew of issues during Obama’s tenure, the president has

Angry Democrats in Nebraska said the Obama Outhouse float in the 4th of July parade may have been racist. So now Eric Holder is looking into it. Omaha.com reported: The U.S. Department of Justice has joined the discussions over a controversial float in the Norfolk Independence Day parade. The department sent a member of its Community Relations Service team, which gets involved in discrimination disputes, to a Thursday meeting about the issue. Also at the meeting were the NAACP, the Norfolk mayor and The Independent Order of Odd Fellows. The Odd Fellows organized the parade. One of the floats included a zombie-like mannequin standing near

President Obama is “absolutely” the most transparent president in history, White House press secretary Josh Earnest said Sunday after the White House received a letter from signed by a dozen top journalists’ groups complaining about the administration’s policies toward the media. “There are a number of steps that we´ve taken to give people greater insight into what´s happening at the White House,” Earnest said in an interview with CNN’s “Reliable Sources.” The letter, signed by the Society of Professional Journalists and the Poynter Institute, among others, accuses the White House of "politically driven suppression of news and information about federal agencies." It

Friday on "Democracy Now," Rep. Luis Gutiérrez (D-IL) attacked his "shameful" Republican colleagues for wanting to change the 2008 child trafficking law so that the children from from Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador current streaming across the border in hopes of evading deportation will be treated the same as those from Mexico before approving the $3.7 billion in emergency funding the president has requested. The Illinois Democrat said, "I think it is shameful that in the Congress of the U.S. we see members of Congress engendering and creating fear of children. We should be protecting children, not creating fear of them." Yesterday,

First lady Michelle Obama grabbed the political reins during a speech to the League of United Latin American Citizens in New York City, telling the crowd of admirers not to worry — that her husband wouldn’t wait on Congress to take action on immigration reform. “So make no mistake about it — we have to keep on fighting as hard as we can on immigration,” Mrs. Obama said, to a cheering crowd, Breitbart reported. “And as my husband has said, he’s going to do whatever administrative action it takes to fix this broken system.” Mrs. Obama then vowed that Congress wouldn’t get

The “ugly American” has gotten a lot uglier over the past few weeks, from the streets of California to the halls of Congress and state houses around the country. A growing number of our fellow Americans have taken on grotesque features, in looks and sounds, in reaction to the thousands of children from Central America who have crossed our borders as they flee poverty and violence in hope for something better. Sadly, the arrival of these youngsters has been greeted by flag-waving, sign-carrying, Bible-thumping and Constitution-quoting citizens demanding that they not be received here and that they be returned immediately to their
