Obama Acts as if He
‘Stumbled Upon the Presidency’

Mediaite, by Josh Feldman

Original Article

Posted By:quantumman, 5/20/2014 5:45:02 PM

Time after time, President Obama has reportedly learned of a number of big administration scandals in the media, from the IRS to Fast & Furious and now the VA scandal over wait times and veterans dying before receiving proper treatment (Jay Carney said today the president learned about this scandal through media reports). All this apparent unawareness before the fact led Charles Krauthammer to argue on Special Report today that Obama acts like he “stumbled upon the presidency” only to be shocked by how much wrong there really is. He lightly mocked the idea that Obama is “madder than hell”

Comments:
He stumbles for a reason.

He is typical of the type who see the outside trappings of a person in a leadership position and mistakes the style of leadership with the substance of leadership. He has always been an empty suit. Granted he has reached the highest level of empty suitedness, but never-the-less, he is empty.

I´m sorry, Charles, but aren´t you stating the obvious? Anyone who was paying attention in 2008 and rejecting the kool aid knew that this fraud was winging it. He had no clue he´d actually become president. It was Hillary´s to be had, but the media did a knock out job of carrying this fool´s water, instead. The color of his skin was way more important than his non-existent qualifications.

What a joke that he learned about this and all the other ´phony scandals´ via the media. The Cambridge Police, Trevon - these kind of stories are what our president embraces. I´d be he´s glued to the tube when he isn´t shooting hoops and on the golf course.

A leader does not blame, he accepts responsibility. Enough said.

He is the first Spectator President. At least in the Illinois Senate he voted "present." At least he showed up for the vote.

As president, he´s always absent. No one ever seems to know where he is. He doesn´t read his briefing papers. He doesn´t show up for meetings. He only finds out what´s going on in his own administration when he happens to see something about it on TV, probably by accident at that. And he is always "shocked" by what he sees and hears.

But he has the vacation thing down pat. And he apparently knows who to call to get him tee times. I find myself wondering only one thing: who is the official presidential sports book?

He is just so gosh darn brilliant that he can´t be bothered with these small details of running a country. Filling out his basketball bracket and wondering if we will have a triple crown this year - now that´s important. And, Charles, he isn´t acting.

He will be held accountable when he leaves office, criminal behavior has no statute of limitations ... and he CAN NOT pardon himself though I have no doubt he´ll try!

Sorry, #17, but he will NEVER be held accountable. Between the knee-pad media and the Common Core teaching youngsters that The Dear/Ear Leader/Reader was the Won, the Alpha, The Omega...accountability will be nowhere to be found.

#7: You´re right. At least Monica always knew where Bill was!

My first visceral dislike for Nobama was before he was sworn in [and, BTW, what was THAT cack-up in 2009 with Roberts fumbling the oath and then they had a ´private´ swearing-in later, with no witnesses?] on a History Channel special about Air Force One. They tacked on a hastily shot segment with Nobama bounding up the stairs and telling the flight crew how great HE was and how the crew looked just like he pictured them. Oy vey.

Obama is just a useful idiot serving the real power brokers on the left.

I suspect that he has bought into the mythology that Bush was both an idiot and an unscrupulous power thirsty war zealot. Not sure they have let him in on the secret that they make this stuff up and that conservatives don´t actually grind up babies for breakfast.

I can see that if one completely bought into the mantra of the left just showing up and not being Bush or what he represented would have been sufficient to make a noticeable positive difference.

He has been a tool of the leftist elite from day one. He has been deprived of the learned experience that achievement requires work. His anointed status has been handed to him to the extent that I don´t think he understands work, the action required to cause an outcome.

Obama is either insulated from his job´s realities to an almost unbelievable degree, in which case he doesn´t belong in any public office (let alone the presidency), or he´s the foulest of presidential liars. I believe that he´s actually on both sides of that either/or. Yes, he lies because by now it´s a deeply ingrained habit, while he also tends to turn his nose up at anything that displeases him. The way the world is going at the moment, he´ll need a lead-lined, soundproof vault to keep out all the bad news. As I have said before, he should hear unremitting calls for his resignation. He´s just a bad egg.

After the full House of Representatives cited former Internal Revenue Service (IRS) official Lois G. Over at the Washington Post, however, print readers had to go 19 pages deep to “The Fed Page,” a union-style newsletter for federal employees. The White House on Tuesday formally requested $3.7 billion in emergency funding from Congress to deal with an influx of Central American minors along the southern border. But the proposal was quickly met with broad skepticism among Republican lawmakers, who were doubtful that the package would be approved quickly — if at all. Administration officials said the request is part of a comprehensive strategy aimed at building more detention centers, adding immigration judges, and beefing up border patrols and air surveillance. President Obama has said he hopes such steps will both speed deportations and discourage adults from sending children on

The claim has added fuel to the fire Clinton herself touched off last month when she claimed they were ´dead broke´ after their time in the White House. The former first lady earns $200,000 or more every time she makes a public speech. The former president has earned a reported $104 million in speaking fees since he

Answer: Sarah Palin. Overwhelmingly Sarah Palin, says America. 52% of surveyed American adults want Sarah Palin to “be quiet,” according to the poll taken between June 30 and July 7 (Snip) 45% of respondents added that they wanted Jesse Jackson to be quiet, too; followed by Dick Cheney (42%), Newt Gingrich (39%), Al Gore (37%), and
