Why Did Cochran Wait Nearly Three Weeks
to Bring Break-In Info to Police?

Breitbart´s Big Government, by Matthew Boyle

Original Article

Posted By:mikkins2, 5/20/2014 1:36:41 PM

The personal attorney for Sen. Thad Cochran (R-MS) offered little explanation late Monday for why nearly three weeks elapsed between when Cochran´s campaign initially learned a crazed blogger had broken into his wife´s residence and when he went to the police with information about the incident, leading to the blogger´s arrest Friday. “In responding to any inquiries about this legal matter, we are conscious of preserving the confidentiality of attorney client relationship,” Cochran’s attorney Don Clark said in an emailed statement to Breitbart News in response to a story in The Hill. He continued:

Comments:
I don´t know whats worse, the renegade blogger doing the deed or the Thadster holding on to the issue until it would give him the most political advantage.

Smells fishy here. Seems to me that T.C. needed to deflect attention from the "mistress" aka "aide" story.

If Daniels is involved, and that does not seem likely, he deserves to take a plunge in the polls. But I no longer put a dirty trick like this past the EE´s (establishment elites).

Was Fad Cockran a cheerleader at Ole Miss, or is he just an Ole Maid in the Senate? Seems the latter, I don´t know that Fad was "Man Enough" to be a cheerleader alongside the likes of Trent Lott.

Why does a sexually abused child wait 20 years to report it to the authorities? Is there a rule of law or legal precedence that requires immediate report of crime? Is the alleged crime any less severe 3 weeks later? The answer to these "justice delayed" incidents have already been given by someone who is a recognized authority on the matter ... "What difference at this point does this make?"

Sent money to McDaniel.
The delay was to see which way the polls went.
Cochran lives with his EA who travels the world with him at Taxpayer expense.
His poor wife is twice victimized- once by her illness and once by her cheating husband.
Cochran should go home to Mississippi and let a young Conservative represent Mississippi citizens.
Shame on Cochran for milking the Taxpayers and ignoring his wife.

Because he only broke it after the story on him and his living in his female aide´s home (purportedly in a basement apartment) and hauling her along at government expense on 42 trips abroad. Photos showed her at his side at official engagements, where a wife would normally be if an elected official took his wife along.

He had to do damage control. So Kelly gave it to him.

PS. Had this story broken when it happened, it would have precipitated what happened anyway - the disclosure of his wife´s affliction and separate living arrangement and his concurrent living with his female aide and gallivanting around the globe with her.

Once that latter story came out, it was time to pull out a great offense as a defense. Or smoke screen.

He is still a cad and a bum and we can do better.

As for the comparison to child abuse, there is none. Kids often don´t really know what has happened to them, or are afraid to "tell" on adults. The time it takes for those memories to come forward fully can be long. Or the time it takes for the child to realize just what DID happen with that trusted person. I am amazed that anyone would mention that in connection with this story.

In 1776 Americans declared themselves independent of more than arbitrary rule by a distant monarch. They also severed the ties of aristocracy. This was in itself a revolutionary notion. It meant that political power, its attendant privilege and economic advantages would no longer be transferred by the blood. Earldoms, dukedoms, and kingdoms were banished from the territory and from the future of the American people. The citizen became the self-identifying unit of self-rule. The generation of English colonists who gathered together in the summer of 1776 to declare their independence from the English crown knew that they had exhausted all other remedies.

It would be a lot easier for conservatives to tolerate the sanctimony of Republicans In Name Only (RINOs) if they weren’t so hypocritical — or in the case of Mississippi RINOs — despicably hypocritical. ‘Moderate’ Republicans never tire of telling us conservative extremists how they are inclusive and ready to reach across the aisle to get things done. The Federal Election Commission (FEC) has asked a pro-Thad Cochran Super PAC, called Mississippi Conservatives, to provide additional information about what the newspaper Roll Call said “appears to be campaign finance violations.” At issue are last-minute expenditures made by the PAC in the days before the initial June 3 primary. The FEC “Request for Additional Information” says the PAC does not appear to have disclosed some of its spending in a timely manner. The FEC notes in the letter sent to treasurer Brian Perry that failure to “adequately respond” by Aug. 1 “could result in an audit or enforcement action.”

That information is publicly available and is far more specific than the one line that -- until now -- they have provided on their

There’s a lot of evidence to support that belief. President Obama has, except on fleeting occasions, routinely disdained the customary Oval Office language of compromise and coalition-building for the low arts of sophistry and belittlement. That was to be expected, given his background as a Chicago community organizer and product of that city´s corrupt Democrat political machine. But Obama has far exceeded dismal expectations. No previous American president employed the systematic distortion of fact and mendacious characterization of opponents that have typified Obama´s presidency. His "so sue me" speech last week is a classic illustration of the community organizer practicing Saul Alinsky´s 13th rule: “Pick the target, freeze it, personalize
