Documents obtained by the Washington Times revealed that the Bush Administration warned the Obama Administration about problems within the Veterans Administration as early as 2008, yet both the ABC and NBC evening news broadcasts ignored the story on Monday, May 19. Of the big three networks, only the CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley covered the new revelations in the VA scandal. CBS News host Scott Pelley noted that “The Bush White House was so concerned about this back in 2008 that it warned the incoming Obama Administration.”

This strategy of ignoring anything negative about their messiah is working. Why on earth would they change tactics now? Ignoring a story and calling anything that gets traction with the American people a racist witch-hunt is working. If the Internet did not exist, imagine what Obama could get away with. There would be nothing to stop him. The democrats must control the message and for the most part they do. It will be the power of the people through the net and social media that can thwart their plan. Information is power and must be disseminated. Go forth and spread the truth.

There was a question of Obama at a town hall meeting from a veteran about three years or so ago who couldn´t get a returned phone call from the VA, or something, and Obama made some typical wise crack about calling him personally and he´d make sure there was a quick response, and that he´d look into it and so forth, IIRC. Wish someone could find the video of it.

FOX had a segment on ignorant college students who know nothing about Benghazi. Of course they don´t if they only watch ABC, CBS, and NBC. Those stations make sure the American public is kept in the dark about anything that might put their golden boy in a bad light. It might make them look bad since they sold him to us in the first place. They remind me of sleazy used car salesmen.

Mobsters try to cover-up evidence of wrongdoing, but the police still try to apprehend them and bring them to justice.

MSM "journalists" try to cover-up evidence of wrongdoing, and enjoy total immunity from prosecution.

I´d say MSM "journalists" have a much better deal than the mobsters.

All of this complaining to ourselves about the media not doing their jobs isn´t going to change anything. It is going to take the conservative media sticking cameras in the face of the producers and anchors asking why they are ignoing the stories to shame these people into doing their jobs.

I will be surprised to see the Republicans win another presidential election because of media bias and the blatant corruption and fraud the left gets away with in the presidential election. It is hard to over come the 10% plus advantage the socialist receive from these unlawful acts. They are never held accountable.

Yes! I´m so with you both, #7 & 8. The MSM continues because we let them! Fire off a quick email to their sponsors, explaining that you´ll boycott their products until the media stops INTENTIONALLY cherry picking the stories they present to the public---creating a distorted picture of reality. You can prove that it´s purposely done bc both sides of issues are out there, yet time after time the media withholds or drags it´s feet on stories which cast an unfavorable light on this administration. It´s not what they REPORT, it´s what they OMIT.
Having said all of that, there should be a resource online which lists all of the media & sponsors´ contact numbers. This would be a huge help as not many people have time to do massive research just to write a letter.

#2, I contend that the Internet sword cuts both ways and that his holy-ness and his court would not have the reach and power of blackmail and persuasion currently enjoyed. Without the Internet providing these clowns everything they need to know about everyone and public mood, knowledge, ignorance, dissent, etc. they wouldn´t have data, wherewithal or guts to attempt any of this.

When we get on in years we tend to reflect on our life experiences. Some end up with a general sense of integrity, while others are left with feelings of regret.

There may well be a significant number of people in the MSM--those still spellbound by Mr. Obama, despite mounting evidence of transgressions--who will end up with much regret..if not despair.

At every opportunity in the company of known Unknowers (okay, ignoramuses), i ask questions about important issues, especially those concerning the health and well-being of our Republic.

It IS depressing, how uninformed people are.

This is not unique to the USA. People sent to the Gulags by Stalin were heard imploring someone to tell Stalin what was happening!

BUT, BUT... the difference is we do have an "independent" media, or, this is what it ought to be.

So this explains BO´s ignorance, right? He just never sees or knows about these extremely important issues until he sees them in the news.

heh. ptui. preposterousness from a horribly destructive regime.

Jon Stewart was on fire last night about this revolting scandal.
And while he had to briefly drag in
George Bush and Dick Cheney,
he didn´t pull any punches
about blaming Obama.
He showed clips of Obama in 2007 complaining
about the problems in VA .
He also showed General Shinseki´s bloodless pronouncement that he was furious.
Stewart said Shinseki´s level of " outrage " was the same as discovering you were out of orange juice.
Stewart mocked the White House continuing to say Obama was furious .
He showed a clip of a WH spokesman saying
on the Sunday shows that Obama had expressed anger
in a meeting
and that he personally " had the scars to prove it ".
Stewart went berserk .
How dare this guy equate some spittle on his eyebrow
from Obama yelling
to a soldier losing limbs from an IED in Fallujah.

And he can´t cite Fox News because he hates them so much he never watches them. So where is his information coming from?"
