White House week ahead:
Will Obama address Veterans
Affairs controversy?

Washington Examiner (DC), by Brian Hughes

Original Article

Posted By:JoniTx, 5/19/2014 11:25:41 AM

President Obama is facing growing calls this week to address the simmering controversy over the backlog of disability claims at the Department of Veterans Affairs and a series of deaths at VA hospitals. The president last week dispatched Rob Nabors, his deputy chief of staff, to oversee a review of the VA, but he has not publicly addressed the issue since a press conference with reporters in Asia three weeks ago. Responding to criticism, the White House insists Obama is working behind the scenes to get answers to allegations that have angered veterans, lawmakers and an increasing number of voters.

Obama is too livid at the moment to even think about discussing another scandal that he was only informed of in 2008. Remember the faux seal of the president elect? That is when he was briefed on the secret VA waiting lists.

He has to play lots more golf to reduce his outrage before reading a new lie off of his TelePrompTer. Do you know what its like to be "mad as hell" for almost 6 years?

#1, "hello, ball." Come to think of it, Norton and Kramden couldn´t have done a worse job than Obama/Biden.

Obama is working "behind the scenes" on the VA controversy. That´s his modus operandi: Benghazi, IRS, Fast and Furious, etc. He´s always working behind the scenes, when he isn´t just learning about it in the newspapers.

Virtually no foreign government is off-limits for the National Security Agency, which has been authorized to intercept information “concerning” all but four countries, according to top-secret documents. The United States has long had broad no-spying arrangements with those four countries — Britain, Canada, Australia and New Zealand — in a group known collectively with the United States as the Five Eyes. But a classified 2010 legal certification and other documents indicate the NSA has been given a far more elastic authority than previously known, one that allows it to intercept through U.S. companies not just the communications of its overseas

EDINBURG, Texas — An 11-year-old Guatemalan immigrant found dead in the brush near the Rio Grande was on his way to join his brother in Chicago, a South Texas sheriff said Monday. Although hundreds of immigrants die crossing the border each year, the discovery of Gilberto Francisco Ramos Juarez´s decomposed body earlier this month illustrates the dangers unaccompanied minors face as they cross into the U.S. in record numbers. Hidalgo County Sheriff Eddie Guerra said the boy was found near La Joya, about 20 miles west of McAllen, on June 15. "Down here finding a decomposed body ... we come

The Supreme Court on Monday weakened Obamacare´s controversial contraception mandate, ruling 5-4 that some employers cannot be forced to cover birth control as part of their health insurance plans. The majority opinion, written by conservative Justice Samuel Alito, said such a mandate infringes on religious freedom, and therefore can be waived by certain business owners. But in a blistering, 35-page dissent, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, joined by Justice Sonia Sotomayor, lambasted the majority opinion—delivered by five male justices—as "a decision of startling breadth" that would allow corporations to "opt out of any law … they judge incompatible with their sincerely held

For one week in January 2012, data scientists skewed what almost 700,000 Facebook users saw when they logged into its service. Some people were shown content with a preponderance of happy and positive words; some were shown content analyzed as sadder than average.

And the pipeline would bring oil from Canada and North Dakota to refineries in the United States. But Obama rejected the plan in 2011 and 2014. Democrats are beholden to the radical green movement – the poor and middle class be damned. Now this… Canada pulled the plug on Keystone and will

A pair of black, armor-plated SUVs swung into a suburban cul-de-sac and crunched to a stop in the driveway of the Clintons’ home in Chappaqua, New York. The president said his administration would ´refocus´ its efforts on the border, and he would use his ´existing legal authority´ to do ´what Congress refuses to do´ and fix the broken immigration system.
