Attorney general says racial
equality threatened in subtle ways

Attorney General Eric Holder said on Saturday while public utterances of bigotry are roundly condemned in the United States racial discrimination persists in more subtle ways. (Snip) He said the new battleground against discrimination should focus on policies and laws that appear race-neutral but in practice impede equal opportunity. "This is the work that truly matters - because policies that disenfranchise specific groups are more pernicious than hateful rants," Holder told the graduates at Morgan State, a historically black college. He cited disciplinary practices in schools that punish black males at three times the rate of their white peers. He

I actually do despise this guy and sadly, he doesn´t have the ability to understand it doesn´t have a thing to do with his race.

As long as people keep defining themselves by the color of their skin, the type of reproductive organs they have, or who they want to have sex with -- instead of realizing that you have to work hard and overcome any difficulties thrown in your way to succeed -- then we will never have this "equality" that the race baiters keep talking about.

But they don´t want equality based on merit and hard work. They want "equality" handed to them on a silver platter.

The biggest racist in that entire article is Eric Holder!!!

Much like 0bama, Holder wakes up every morning and hates what he sees in the mirror causing them to lash out and project their venom on the rest of the world because they are cowards.

There is nothing subtle about it. Holder says we are too cowardly for an honest dialog on race while threatening federal prosecution of anyone who departs from his monologue on race. Black people suffer perceived dirty looks from whites while white people suffer having their brains kicked out by black mob with Holder´s apparent approval.

Attorney general says racial equality threatened in subtle ways...ways so subtle that only a bigoted racist black can discern them.

Personally, I´ve had my fill of angry blacks getting in my face and snarling "You owe me, ´cuz I´m black and you´re white!"

I´ve never been in a position to discriminate against anyone, in fact as a child of an oilfield worker, I was often bullied by "town kids" for being a transient living in a trailer park.

Perhaps this is their latest diversion - to take the headlines away from Benghazi, IRS, VA, Fast and Furious. Holder and Michelle seem to be on the same page, both of them now preaching that racial discrimination is getting worse - sickening when you think that they, and of course BO, took every advantage they could from affirmative action.

Looking at him, I believe that Holder is more Caucasian than black.........how about an occasional acknowledgment of that part of his heritage. Might also be nice to express some gratitude to a nation where he could become Attorney General. Did I mention that POTUS is a half-black even thought he was raised by the white half of his family.

to point in #12 above, it appears that Holder and his co-relgionists are stridently adhering to the old "one drop law". If you are 1/128th black, then you´re black.
Look, this all sets up a campaign that targets all the "disproportionate impact" issues. Those that display any disparity whatever between whites as a class, blacks as a class, and any other group, again as a class.
So, one surmises, the percentage of incoming blacks in the students in the college of engineering at University of Michigan must closely follow the percentage of blacks in Michigan. The number of those successfully completing that same program must also match the incoming proportions. The percentage of blacks in Maryland prisons must closely match the percentage of blacks in Maryland. And so forth.
Ask any teacher or cop if the behavior of students or dockets is identical across the various racial groups. Do it privately, because they´re likely to be reluctant to tell an uncomfortable truth.
See a demand that if 14 per cent of 10th grade English students get an A, then that 14 per cent must hold for the different racial groups.

#11, a quick scan of the College website shows that white enrollment is 3%.

I think Morgan State should be ashamed of their bigoted enrollment stats. They should be doing more for outreach into the "white community". They are encouraging, in fact, demonstrating and propagating, segregation.

We need a big lawsuit to force Morgan State to accept more white applicants, and draw them to this college.

The election of Obama has brought racial slurs and incredible coarseness into public life. The efforts of many conservatives to assert that African Americas are racists and their constant rudeness to the President and his family has only further alienated Blacks from the Republican party. This is not going to end well for the Republican Party or the Tea Party.

#29, you´d do a service to yourself if you closed your mouth for a while and opened your eyes. You obviously have no idea what conservatives or the Tea Party thinks.

As a standing member of a local Southern California Tea Party and a host of a few gatherings myself, I never met a Tea Party associate or fellow conservative who thought anything about race.

I know few conservatives that dislike Ben Carson or Allen West. And we don´t like them because of their skin color, we like them because of their ideals and beliefs. And wow, they are black! Personally, I think one of the brightest stars in the conservative ranks is Ted Cruz, who is Hispanic. I would not mind any of these three gentlemen being president.

The incredible coarseness you speak of? That comes directly from liberals. From being anti-life, to being absolutely disgusting in their character assassination (Sarah Palin) and their unprofessionalism (Rahm Emmanuel) and their foulness (Anthony Weiner, Barney Frank, 1000 others).

The most rabied anti-Øvomit hater, on his worst day, doesn´t come close to the venom and hatred that the average lie-beral spewed towards President Bush during his 8 years in office. WASHINGTON – Has President Barack Obama “checked out”? Or if Republican lobbyist Ed Rogers says Obama “seems to have taken something like an early retirement,” as he did in his Washington Post blog earlier this month, finding that the president’s recent speeches reveal “a state of mind that suggests he has checked out.” It is another, however, if the chief U.S. commentator for the Financial Times,

Washington — Is racial animosity behind some political criticism of the Obama administration? That’s what Attorney General Eric Holder said on Sunday. The exact phrase he used was “racial animus,” which he said motivates some of his and Obama’s political opponents. (Snip) At the right-leaning "Hot Air!" Noah Rothman used even tougher language. The Obama administration long ago perfected the art of cultivating the sense among its defenders that lingering racism inspires most of its critics, according to Mr. Rothman. The First Lady of these United States has declared war on Chick-fil-A. It seems the home of plump juicy breasts and hot buttered buns has run afoul of the new Smart Snacks in School program. The program is a component of Mrs. Obama’s Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010. The new government regulations require snack items served in public schools to have less than two hundred calories. That includes vending machines, lunch rooms and other campus food venues. And that’s really bad news for kids at South Carolina’s Socastee High School. They’ve just learned they will no longer be allowed to buy Chick-fil-A

“Trust” is for Con Men: The reaction to the border chaos in Texas has accomplished one thing: It has exploded the lie at the heart of current “comprehensive” immigration reform plans. The basic structure of those plans is a swap of a) near-immediate legalization for b) increased border security in the future. The appealing idea is to let current illegals stay while taking the steps necessary to prevent further waves. The lie is the assumption that, once current illegals get their legalization, pro-immigrant activists in both parties will continue to support the second half of the bargain, the increased security. Contrary to what those who defend the right to own high-powered assault rifles believe, not all guns are created equal. Due to a combination of availability, portability and criminal usage the following five types of guns are the country's most dangerous. School Shootings: Widely Reported Tragedies Since 2000 - Using firearm trace data from the ATF, as well as FBI homicide records, we determined the types of guns most often recovered from crime scenes and/or used in murders. The numbers are stark: According to the FBI's 2012 Crime in the US data, nearly 70 percent of homicides for which the FBI received weapons data involved the use

John McCain, an immigration hawk. Who knew? Mr. McCain, the highest-profile Republican of the U.S. Senate’s “Gang of Eight” that came up with amnesty as the solution to the immigration crisis — and it truly is a crisis — is finally taking a hard line against President Obama for his encouraging the tidal wave of illegal aliens swamping the southwestern border. “There has to be a halt to this,” Mr. McCain thundered Sunday on CNN. “That’s what we want, and the best way to do that is for planeloads of these young people to be returning to their country of origin

It had to come sometime, and it came in one very bad week for the Democrats: that the many big problems with Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama finally grew too great for the press to ignore. Obama in his own different way is heading towards Nixon-like levels of weirdness, as, beaten down by the failures regarding his ventures, he appears to have quit his own job. A.B. Stoddard of the Hill says in effect he has stopped being president and chooses to live in a world of his own, shutting out the problems that have become overwhelming, giving dinners where he talks

The headline in the Washington Post on June 4 was clear: Rove-backed American Crossroads won’t get involved in Cochran runoff Said the Post story the day after Tea Party favorite Chris McDaniel had defeated six-term Mississippi GOP Senator Thad Cochran in the first round of the state’s GOP primary: American Crossroads, a GOP establishment organization, has decided to shift its political focus almost entirely to the general election and will not be spending money in the likely runoff election to decide the Mississippi Senate nomination that was virtually deadlocked after Tuesday night. Senate Budget Committee ranking member Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) has warned all of his colleagues in Congress that President Barack Obama’s new immigration strategy—his plans to legalize millions of illegal alien adults through executive power—could destroy America as we know it. “I write to inform you of a development that threatens the foundation of our constitutional Republic,” Sessions, Congress’s top immigration hawk, wrote in a letter that was hand-delivered to all 535 members of Congress on Monday and provided exclusively to Breitbart News. Sessions cites a recent report from the National Journal, in which reporter Major Garrett detailed how, despite the ongoing

Attorney General Eric Holder encouraged Americans not to forget race while working for justice and equality in their country. “As it stands, our society is not yet color blind -- nor should it be -- given the disparities that still afflict and divide us.” Holder explained, “We must be color brave, and we must never forget that all are made better and more prosperous if all are given equal opportunities.” Holder made his remarks during a speech at Howard University on Tuesday for the 50th Anniversary Celebration of the Civil Rights Act. “We must take into account not only the

WASHINGTON — It was an enduring image of his presidency: a chastened Bill Clinton walking his dog while wife Hillary keeps her distance as the family leaves town at the height of the Monica Lewinsky scandal — but it was all part of a contrived public-repentance campaign, according to a new book. With Bill on the skids and his wife’s future prospects on the line, it was necessary for the pubic to see the president being punished, said Weekly Standard online editor Daniel Halper in his new book, “Clinton, Inc.: The Audacious Rebuilding of a Political Machine.” “They understood that
