Jarrett pulls back from suggesting
Obama has ‘commitment’ from
Boehner on immigration

Washington Post, by Ed O´Keefe

White House senior adviser Valerie Jarrett pulled back Friday morning from comments she made suggesting that House Speaker John A. Boehner (R-Ohio) had made a commitment to President Obama to take up immigration legislation this summer. Jarrett had told an investors conference in Las Vegas on Thursday that she believes that Boehner will allow a comprehensive immigration reform bill, or a package of bills, to come up for a vote after a series of GOP primaries this summer in order to avoid spoiling the chances of some Republican incumbents. Her comments echo the long-held beliefs of some observers of the

Comments:
It appears that I owe an apology to Boehner for believing her. I still don´t trust him and because of his past behavior and comments have reason to feel that way. When will someone tell that obnoxious power hungry woman she needs to stay out of this? No one elected that arrogant fool.

Don´t feel too bad, OP, I came "this" close to criticizing the Speaker myself when I read Jarratt´s remarks yesterday. This time, once I read the article, I sensed Obama´s Brain was lying through her teeth. I am glad Boehner´s office disputed her statements do quickly too.

Remember, Progs stick together. It is entirely plausible that Boehner did make that promise to Jarrett, and she simply ran her mouth. Boehner had a cow when he heard it, and had a "what, are you nuts?" conversation with her, resulting in the retraction.

Valerie Jarrett is not the brightest bulb in the Obama Mob.Remember that time she was at a State Type Dinner and she asked the Admiral that was walking bye to get her another drink...she thought he was a waiter for the affair? Valerie gets a lot a MSM Credit for being the Shadow POTUS, but I don´t believe she´s anything but another dodo in the crowd of Obama clowns.

Holly cow.

All this blow back against our friend and helper Boehner. Quick, renounce that statement about and agreement with the Marxist democrat Obama and his administration on immigration amnesty.

If Boehner allows the house to take up comprehensive immigration reform in it´s current state or possibly any state, he will hand the Senate to the
Democrats - conservatives will stay home, again.

Mrs. Obama Declares
War on Chick-fil-A

The First Lady of these United States has declared war on Chick-fil-A. It seems the home of plump juicy breasts and hot buttered buns has run afoul of the new Smart Snacks in School program. The program is a component of Mrs. Obama’s Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010. The new government regulations require snack items served in public schools to have less than two hundred calories. That includes vending machines, lunch rooms and other campus food venues. And that’s really bad news for kids at South Carolina’s Socastee High School. They’ve just learned they will no longer be allowed to buy Chick-fil-A

A billionaire tech investor says he has enough backing to put on the ballot a plan to split California into six states. Timothy Draper, a venture capitalist founder of a Silicon Valley-based venture capital firm that has invested in such tech companies as Twitter, HotMail, Skype and Tesla, told Reuters he has the 808,000 signatures needed on a petition to force the measure onto a public referendum in November 2016. Under the far-fetched plan, one state would be called "Silicon Valley" and would include the tech mecca, as well as San Francisco. "California needs a reboot," Draper, who has spent

On October, 2011, amid a lethargic economic recovery, President Barack Obama – a man who prided himself on ending wars, not starting them – touted his foreign policy successes. Beyond the successful raid that resulted in the death of Osama bin Laden, Obama noted that he had successfully solved two thorny international puzzles; ending the war in Iraq and successfully prosecuting a brief campaign to stem the violence in Libya. In a speech in the White House, the president made the case for his own competency within an announcement regarding the beginning of the full withdrawal of American troops from the

A new "N-word" -- "nativist" -- has made its way into the immigration debate. Americans who want the influx of Central American children returned to their homes are "nativist" and "isolationist," says Rep. Linda Sanchez (D-Calif.), a member of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus. "As the United States, as a world leader, we are very good about telling other countries that they must accept refugees from Syria or Ethiopia or Darfur, but when it comes to a humanitarian crisis on our own border -- involving children, no less -- you hear this nativist, isolationist voices saying that, oh, just ship them all back,

Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg gave $250,000 to the super PAC supporting Sen. Lindsey Graham, (R-S.C.) in the primary battle he won by a wide margin last month, a source familiar with the donation told POLITICO. The donation is set to be revealed in financial filings made public Tuesday by the West Main Street Values PAC, the source said. The donation is the second Bloomberg has made in recent months to a Republican incumbent facing tea party unrest. Last month, filings showed that Bloomberg donated $250,000 to a super PAC supporting Sen. Thad Cochran (R-Miss.) in the rancorous primary

Barack Obama met with a group of immigration activists two weeks ago. He told a group of radicals, “In another life, I’d be on the other side of the table.” The Washington Post reported: Two weeks ago, with Republicans criticizing the administration’s handling of the border crisis, Obama gathered advocates for another private meeting at the White House. The session grew heated when some of them criticized the administration’s tough posture toward the children on the border, according to several people who attended. Marshall Fitz, immigration policy director at the Center for American Progress, said that Obama, a former community organizer, told the group

As John Kerry travels from country to country on various diplomatic missions as secretary of state (almost half a million miles so far), he often addresses the staff and their families at the U.S. embassies in the countries he visits. Remarks at these informal gatherings are often more casual than the usual speeches or press appearances, and Kerry often jokes with the staff and recognizes employees of long standing with the State Department. Monday, Kerry had one such opportunity in Vienna, Austria, the last stop on his most recent trip, and towards the end of his talk he recalled his

President Obama said Monday that the only reason that he has been successful in life is because of investments made by his family and his community. “[A]ll a young person needs is knowing that somebody cares about them and believes in them,” the president said Monday during an Iftar dinner celebrating Ramadan, the sixth that he has hosted. “I know I´m only here because a few people -- my mother and my grandparents and dedicated teachers -- took time to invest in me.” Absent from the president’s list of things that helped him get ahead in life is a bloated,

WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama is envisioning a time when cars will be able to talk with other cars or with America´s roads. He says such technology could prevent crashes, cut down on traffic and save gasoline. Obama on Tuesday will visit a federal highway research center in northern Virginia. The White House says he will highlight partnerships between the Transportation Department, auto-makers and the University of Michigan. The groups are developing and testing vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-infrastructure communications technology. The trip is part of Obama´s push for Congress to shore up funding for highways and transportation. He says that´s key

White House press secretary Josh Earnest said Monday the Obama administration’s foreign policies in a number of areas have enhanced the world’s “tranquility” – a word that raised eyebrows as reporters pointed to situations in Gaza, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Ukraine and the South China Sea. More than one reporter during Monday’s press briefing referred to a front-page Wall Street Journal article highlighting some of those crises, and citing security strategists as saying “the breadth of global instability now unfolding hasn’t been seen since the late 1970s.” “How does the White House react to the notion that the president is a

A man who executed a Jersey City, N.J. police officer before being shot and killed himself should have murdered more cops, the man’s widow said at a makeshift memorial on Monday. “He should’ve taken more [officers] with him,” Angelique Campbell told News 12 New Jersey of her husband Lawrence. Early Sunday, Campbell, who was wanted for a previous murder, ambushed 23 year-old rookie officer Melvin Santiago outside of a Walgreen’s. According to authorities, Campbell, 27, allegedly told a by-stander, “Watch the TV news later, I’m going to be famous,” reports the New York Post. But the cold-blooded killing fostered little sympathy

Planned Parenthood staffers are using taxpayer money to instruct underage girls in dangerous and violent sex practices — including whipping, bondage and choking, according to a new video released by the anti-abortion group Live Action Tuesday. The uncensored footage obtained by The Daily Caller shows staffers telling investigators posing as underage girls to experiment with violent sex play in response to generic questions about sex. Staffers at two clinics in Colorado explain to the investigators that a variety of painful sex acts — including biting, chaining, gagging, whipping, choking, using nipple clamps, and more — are completely safe and normal
