MSNBC panel mulls the rights of
Satanists as a “marginalized

It’s everything you’d expect from All In With Chris Hayes, and so much less … less common sense, less intellectually honest, and less respectful of faith. Renowned Jesuit author Fr. James Martin looks at times like he’d accidentally wandered into a lunatic asylum during this segment, and after watching five minutes of Chris Hayes and Harvard’s Christopher Robichaud treat the now-cancelled “black mass” event like an actual religious practice rather than a hate-speech mockery of the Catholic Mass, Fr. Martin will not be alone in that confusion: Martin offers a very close analogy when he suggests that Harvard wouldn’t have

I wonder if Robichaud is typical of the kind of person employed by Harvard? His Harvard bio says: Currently, his research interests include exploring what a "post-truth" age of politics might be, and what, if anything, can be said for or against such an age.

Given the choice between conservative Christian Republicans and Satanists, is there any doubt in anyone´s mind who the "progressive" "journalists" of MSNBC would choose? Any doubt whatsoever??

Someone should write a mockery of the Muslims´ call to prayer, their praying to Allah, vile treatment of women, gays, terrorism, etc., etc. and see if Harvard would like to sponsor it as a freedom of religion or cultural event.

I don´t think I will hold my breath. Not only are these leftists fools but physical cowards as well.

Elizabeth Scalia wrote about this on Patheos and included the Harvard Speech Code:

Behavior evidently intended to dishonor such characteristics as race, gender, ethnic group, religious belief, or sexual orientation is contrary to the pursuit of inquiry and education. Such grave disrespect for the dignity of others can be punished under existing procedures because it violates a balance of rights on which the University is based.

In their zeal to be "fair", MSNBC fails to note that Satanists pursue evil and worship the prince of evil.
By contrast, people who worship God worship the Prince of peace (unless they are Jewish), love, and all things good.

Is MSNBC making no distinction between good and evil? Are they seriously presenting the argument that evil should be given an equal platform with good?

Also just found out that the Satanic Temple folks said that the Black Mass is based on something found in the book by Joris-Karl Huysmans: La-bas (The Damned). Published in 1891.

A year after publication, Huysmans returned to Catholicism and died as a Benedictine oblate on May 12, 1907 ... 107 years to the date of the Harvard incident.

‘Remarkably Myopic’?

It looks like the Gray Lady needs to get a new pair of glasses. As recently as January it used the phrase “remarkably myopic” to describe an appeals court ruling against President Obama’s abuse of the recess appointment power. Not only did the Times use the word “myopic” but they also called the ruling an “absurdity.” Yet when the Supreme Curt took at look at the Appeals Court decision and unfurled its eye chart, the letters on the top line spelled out “A-F-F-I-R-M-E-D.” Think they’ll be able to make out the small print on the next line? Here’s what it says: “U-n-a-n-i-m-o-u-s.” The decision is being retailed as what the Times’

It’s hard to remember now. But one of the themes of Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign was “unity.” The soon-to-be president and his supporters hoped to transcend the deep partisan and ideological divisions in our society. For the most part, that hope has gone the way of George W. Bush’s promise that he was going to be “a uniterIn both today’s Noel Canning decision on recess appointments and yesterday’s cell phone search decision, the justices unanimously rejected the administration’s extreme positions, even though they disagreed on other issues involved in the two cases. , not a divider.” Perhaps no president could truly deliver on such a promise in this day and age. WASHINGTON -- Congressional investigators say they uncovered emails Wednesday showing that a former Internal Revenue Service official at the heart of the tea party investigation sought an audit involving a Republican senator in 2012. The emails show former IRS official Lois Lerner mistakenly received an invitation to an event that was meant to go to Sen. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa. Grassley presumably received Lerner´s invitation. The event organizer apparently offered to pay for Grassley´s wife to attend the event. In an email to another IRS official, Lerner suggests referring the matter for an audit, saying it might be inappropriate for the

From the announcement by Speaker of the House John Boehner (R-OH) that Congress is considering filing a lawsuit against the Obama administration to the lawsuit against the IRS by the National Organization for Marriage, momentum is building for legal action against the corrupt and venal executive branch. Boehner’s lawsuit would be advisory in nature; the so-called “political question doctrine” often invoked by the Supreme Court generally prevents any judicial action against the executive branch when Congress’ prerogatives are trampled. George Will suggested this week that the law be changed to allow Congress standing against the president. But that is unlikely,

Eventually, she lost her case. At one point Lerner even asked a targeted conservative if Pat Robertson prayed over him. (Sound familiar?) National conservative groups are angry after incumbent Mississippi Sen.
