Isn´t Michael Sam tweet free speech?
USA Today, by Ken Paulson

Original Article

Posted By:garnet, 5/14/2014 9:40:10 AM

You knew someone was going to behave badly. When Michael Sam became the first openly gay man to be drafted in the NFL, ESPN cut to the celebration, which included Sam kissing his boyfriend. No surprise there — draftees often kiss their loved ones. Then Miami defensive back Don Jones decided to share his insights on the kiss. "OMG" and "horrible," he tweeted. Again, no shock. There´s a reason no player has come out until now. Then came the real surprise: The Miami Dolphins fined and suspended Jones for his tweets and ordered him to go to a training program for "education."

Stick a fork in all of the Pro degenerate leagues. Don´t go to the games anymore, nor watch them on TV. Every year it gets worse. Bar fights, beatings, drugs, and infidelity. I can get all that by watching R rated movies.

No, not when you are saying it about someone who is "special" and a protected class of American citizen. They scream they just want to be like everyone else and then they scream they are being picked on, discriminated against, being disparaged because they are gay. And no not all who are homosexual do the look at me aren´t I special dance in the media. Honestly anybody who shares private moments of tonsil hockey needs to be shut down, don´t care, don´t want to see it. If this was tweeted about Miley Cirus it would have been ignored but Sam has been given poster boy status....there fore he is a special icon that the left hold up as example while the rest of us have to try and not throw up.

It was a stupid tweet. Regardless of his feelings on Sam´s proclivities, he´s the one who´s showing weakness as a team player.

Twitter is a dangerous place for celebrities. Now he knows.

It seems like only yesterday that the NFL was played by real men, not girly men. This may truly be a turning point in professional sports.

LeBron thinks the focus must be on black players and giving them what they demand. No longer. We are moving beyond race and now focusing on gender equality - not between men and women, but straights and LBGTQA. How long before we have a gay league and a straight league in each major sport?

Now it´s a big uproar re: race on the gay sites due to someone pointing out the past of the boyfriend. Someone stating maybe it wasn´t such a good idea to come out under those circumstances.

Yes, race has always been a thing in the gay community in the past. It wasn´t always rainbows and unicorns... even in the Stonewall days.

Of course the right is accused re: boyfriends mob family past coming out.

http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/football/michael-sam-boyfriend-mobster-grandpa-father-article-1.1789491

Long story short, you can´t say anything, straight or gay about Sam without getting slammed.

Common sense ´just play football´ is considered a slam.

They´d better hope he lives up to all this.

The First Amendment guarantees the right to make stupid or inappropriate - and yes, even "offensive" - comments. Free speech is free speech - period. There are no "censors" - public or private - designated in the Constitution. Those who set themselves up as arbiters of what is or is not "appropriate" speech are simply: oligarchs.

Free speech is self-correcting. The remedy for "bad" free speech is: more "good" free speech.

"Re-education" belongs in Hitler´s Germany or Stalin´s Russia - not America.

In the eyes of the dumbed-down, Politically Correct, White guilt-ridden, Birkenstock-wearing, bottled-water-drinking, Xanax-disabled, kumbaya-singing, Rainbow Plantation, Gay-obsessed, Socialist Liberal Lemmings the only “Free Speech” is their speech! Michael Sam, and now the NFL, is protected by a Politically Correct “Good Fairy” who will get all Medieval on yer a__ if you get out of line without the expressed written consent of the NFL. Non-compliance will result in prosecution to the fullest extent of the law by the NFL´s team of insanely overpaid lawyers and the following LGBTQ groups:

* International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Intersex Association (ILGA)

By the way, Homosexual leadership was rampant in Nazi Germany. Enough so that Nazi leaders were sometimes openly casual about their status. The persecution of Homosexuals in Germany was overly stated and the Hitler Youth who eventually became Brown Shirts was a breeding ground for Homosexuals.

In most instances, the leadership used the term on people they wanted to get rid of such as the Jews and other impure Germans. A two edged sword.

For most of 2014, the Democrats looked on the looming congressional elections with considerable dread. All of the standard indicators portend an unhappy outcome for their party.(snip) Then came last week’s Hobby Lobby ruling. In that imminently sensible Supreme Court decision, the Democrats found an unhoped-for opportunity for shameless demagoguery. Indulging their gift for Orwellian rhetoric, they declared that the Court had re-opened hostilities in the fabled “war on women.” (snip) Millions of American women, they thundered, will now be denied access to birth control because five male justices sided with the closet theocrats who own Hobby Lobby.

I’ve never had many charitable things to say about John Kerry, but now it’s worse; I feel sorry for him. Kerry certainly isn’t an evil fellow, merely a run-of-the-mill narcissistic opportunist who has risen to the top of the political heap. I admire his service in Vietnam; many children of privilege — did someone mention George W. Bush? — found ways to avoid the war. If he had any stellar accomplishments during his 28 years in the Senate, they are not etched in my memory. He proved to be an inept presidential candidate in 2004. But now, the spin goes,

Now that the Supreme Court has issued its ruling in the Hobby Lobby case, the legal fight over the Affordable Care Act will shift a few blocks away to another Washington courtroom, where a far more fundamental challenge to Obamacare is about to be decided by the powerful U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit. Indeed, if Hobby Lobby will create complications for Obamacare, Halbig vs. Burwell could trigger a full cardiac arrest. The Halbig case challenges the massive federal subsidies in the form of tax credits made available to people with financial need who enroll in the program. This morning’s Supreme Court ruling in Burwell v. Hobby Lobby will doubtless precipitate a flood of stories from the establishment “news” media claiming that an entrenched cadre of conservative justices have dealt a grievous blow to the reproductive freedom of women and somehow endowed corporations with religious rights. These reports should be ignored as so much hysterical nonsense. What the Court actually said was that the Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA) requires the government to provide closely held corporate objectors to Obamacare’s contraception mandate the same accommodation it already provides nonprofit organizations.

The email revelation already has prompted three congressional hearings -- with more likely to come -- as lawmakers grow more skeptical of the explanation and look for inconsistencies in the story. I´m old enough to remember when American liberals cherished the freedom of speech guaranteed by the First Amendment. They celebrated especially the freedom accorded those with unpopular beliefs and protested attempts to squelch the expression of differing opinions. Today things are different. American liberals are not challenging the Supreme Court rulings extending First Amendment protection to nude dancers, flag burners and students wearing antiwar armbands. They are content to leave these as forms of protected free speech. But political speech is a whole other thing. It wasn’t just the media’s goggle-eyed questions about whether the country was “ready” for a female president or the inane things that spilled out of people’s mouths on cable television—though let’s remember that Christopher Hitchens called Clinton “soppy and bitchy,” Mike Barnicle compared her to “everyone’s first wife standing outside a probate court,” and Keith Olbermann suggested that the Democratic Party needed “somebody who
