Monica Lewinsky affair ripped
the mask from identity politics

Washington Examiner [DC], by Noemie Emery

Original Article

Posted By:StormCnter, 5/14/2014 5:37:05 AM

Monica Lewinsky may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer, but even she wasn´t born yesterday, and now, 16 years after the fact and her media frenzy, she has come to the rather belated conclusion that the feminist movement, that protector of women abused by employers, had done this ex-intern wrong. Not only did feminists not defend the girl who was used by the president (and then defamed by the president and his defenders), but they wrote off or defamed her themselves. "What is your concern with some little twerp named Monica?" Betty Friedan asked us. "We´re trying to think of

Great post, thanks. Should be a ´Must Read´, because the last two paragraphs sum up the whole ´community organizer in chief´ to a "T".

This is complete BS,
Monica was not a teenage girl.
She was an adult, that set out to have sex with the President, before she even left her home for Washington.
She told friends that she was going to perform oral on him once she got there.
Her mom was even proud of her daughter.
To some segments, getting famous is more important than any moral code.
From the time Clinton met her until she had his unit in her mouth was about 20 minutes.
Damn, you couldn´t go that fast with a prostitute!
They never had an affair. She simply gave him head a couple of times.
She is owed nothing. She and her mom got what they wanted and are owed no respect or protection.
PS I hated Clinton, but do understand social climbing sluts.

A day or two after the Lewinsky scandal became public info, I found myself in a cab in Montreal with a business companion who was quite upset about President Clinton´s behavior with this member of the White House office staff.
The cabbie was giving my traveling companion the business about how uptight Americans are and that the Lewinsky liaisons were all a private matter.
This went on until I finally stepped in and asked the cabbie a question.
"If your cab company were to discover that your male manager was engaging in this type of sexual conduct with an unpaid, female college intern, what would happen to your manager?"
Without hesitation, the cabbie said the manager would be fired on the spot.
To which I answered, "Duh!"

Agree with #1 this is a good article and ought to be a must read. #2 Clinton was much more. At fault in his dealings with Monica Lewinski and he was also very much in character when you consider his well documented record of abusing and exploiting women.

Sociopaths like the Clintons, who are the posterboys for many liberals, believe people exist just to be used, and then discarded. They don´t really care about the feelings and needs of other people. Like so many on the left, they pretend to care about women, but treat individual women like trash. Group Identity politics allows them to be the champion of the group, but use and abuse the individual for their own ends.

Monica was:

To suggest that her typical juvenile ramblings regarding her desires puts her at parity with the.....uh, ´man´ described above is insipid.

At the time, men were crucified publicly every day for "sexual harassment". Even if consentual, an affair between a boss and his underling was considered a horrific crime (by the feminists and the media).

Then along came Bill and Monica and suddenly it was a Private Matter.

Monica was a college-age intern of questionable brains and morals.

Bill Clinton was the President of the United States. He was the person who took the Oath of Office.

One would expect a President to have the dignity and morality not to take something just because it was offered.

Texas Governor Rick Perry and a key U.S. lawmaker renewed Republican calls on Thursday for National Guard troops to be sent to the U.S.-Mexico border to help stem a surge of Central American nationals entering the United States illegally. Perry addressed members of the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Homeland Security at a field hearing at McAllen, Texas, in the Rio Grande Valley, the region hardest hit by the thousands of children and families who have streamed to the border in recent months. He said Texas expects to spend an extra $1.3 million a week through the end of the year

Japan’s historic move to reinterpret the country’s postwar “peace constitution” this week and adopt a more active role in Asia-Pacific security comes none too soon for the United States. Right now, more than ever, Washington needs robust allies. In East Asia, the broader Middle East, the Sahel and Eastern Europe, extremists, sub-national groups and even hostile countries seek to take over territory and change borders and governments through coercion, intimidation and terrorism. Although these events might seem disparate and limited in scope, their number and frequency amount to a global challenge to the international order the United States has led since World

Ordinary Internet users, American and non-American alike, far outnumber legally targeted foreigners in the communications intercepted by the National Security Agency from U.S. digital networks, according to a four-month investigation by The Washington Post. Nine of 10 account holders found in a large cache of intercepted conversations, which former NSA contractor Edward Snowden provided in full to The Post, were not the intended surveillance targets but were caught in a net the agency had cast for somebody else. Many of them were Americans. Nearly half of the surveillance files, a strikingly high proportion, contained names, e-mail addresses or other details that the

Team Obama was told, over and over, that the Iraqi army couldn’t stop a terror group that was ready to pounce. But Washington was a prisoner to its paradox of an Iraq policy. On November 1, 2013, Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki visited the White House, and made a rather stunning request. Maliki, who celebrated when the last U.S. troops left his country in 2011, asked Obama for American drone strikes on his country again; that’s how serious the threat from Sunni insurgents led by the extremist group ISIS had become. Twelve days later, Brett McGurk, a deputy assistant secretary of state

By the time the Continental Congress declared independence in 1776, the British government had done quite a bit to provoke it. Colonists had been resisting Parliament´s authority for almost a decade. But many American patriots wanted to remain loyal to King George III right up until the American Prohibitory Act of December 1775. The king not only brushed aside the colonists´ legitimate grievances but declared them to be in rebellion and cast them outside royal protection. The act authorized a war against them — a naval blockade of their ports and the hiring of foreign mercenaries to suppress their rebellion.

An obscure, chicken-sized bird best known for its mating dance could help determine whether Democrats or Republicans control the U.S. Senate in November. The federal government is considering listing the greater sage grouse as an endangered species next year. Doing so could limit development, energy exploration, hunting and ranching on the 165 million acres of the bird´s habitat across 11 Western states. Apart from the potential economic disruption, which some officials in Western states discuss in tones usually reserved for natural disasters, the specter of the bird´s listing is reviving the centuries-old debates about local vs. federal control and whether

Publicly, Obama has remained noncommittal on the 2016 race, but privately he worries that Clinton would undo and undermine many of his policies. There’s also a personal animosity, especially with Bill Clinton, that dates from their tough race six years ago. A former Harvard law professor and administration aide, Warren would energize the left wing of the Democrat Party just as Obama did against Clinton in 2008.
