Hundreds Contact FBI About
Pedophile Teacher Case

Associated Press, by Michael Weissenstein & Tami Abdollah

The number of possible victims of a teacher suspected of drugging and molesting boys during a four-decade career at nearly a dozen schools around the world has risen sharply, with the FBI saying hundreds of people have contacted it about the case. Calling William Vahey one of the most prolific pedophiles in memory, the FBI had said that the teacher molested at least 90 boys whose photos were found on a memory drive stolen by his maid in Nicaragua. But that figure appeared low after Special Agent Shauna Dunlap said Tuesday that the bureau has now "been contacted by several hundred individuals

The FBI would rather investigate ATV riders on BLM´s precious land than look into demonrat protected pedophilia or VA corruption.

So this guy molested boys at elite international schools for years - maybe this is why so many of our "elite" are homosexuals.

Bob Gunton is a character actor with 125 credits to his name, including several seasons of "24" and "Desperate Housewives" and a host of movie roles in films such as the Oscar-winning "Argo." Vaguely familiar faces like his are common in the Los Angeles area where he lives, and nobody pays much attention. Many of his roles have been forgotten. But every day, the 68-year-old actor says, he hears the whispers—from cabdrivers, waiters, the new bag boy at his neighborhood supermarket: "That´s the warden in ´Shawshank.´ " He also still gets residual payments—not huge, but steady, close to six figures by the

There’s an imaginary War on Women that exists only in the minds of Democratic politicians trying to scare voters and score political points. And then there’s the real War on Women. The former is misleading, tiresome, and over-covered by the media. The latter is real-life, tragic, and rarely receives media attention. This dynamic was interrupted in recent weeks with the abduction of 276 Nigerian school girls by the Islamic terrorist group Boko Haram, which made the front pages and nightly news. Concerned Women for America and its 500,000 members join others — including the 20 female senators and 79 female representatives who wrote

The public’s judgment of President Obama is that his performance in office is not so great. Nearly every opinion poll shows that more Americans disapprove of how he’s doing his job than approve. Sometimes the gap between disapprove and approve is more than 10 percentage points. But public opinion isn’t the only way to assess a president’s effectiveness. In 2000, Fred Greenstein, a scholar of the presidency at Princeton, came up with six “qualities that bear on presidential performance.” While they are subjective measures open to disagreement, they’re nonideological, nonpartisan, and they offer a useful way to judge presidents. So the

Skyler James’ high school graduation party had a very surprising special guest – the man who found her abandoned as a newborn on a frigid winter day in a cemetery. “I was very speechless. I didn’t know what to say,” James, 17, told ABC News about her meeting with Charlie Heflin on Sunday. “I could not say ‘thank you’ enough. I just hugged him and cried.” James said her parents had shared her history with her. “I’ve always wondered if I’d ever meet Charlie or find out who he was. Following a meeting with VA head Eric Shinseki yesterday, President Obama read a statement and took a few (very few) questions on the VA scandal. The White House has posted the text here and video here. Watching the proceedings live yesterday morning, I thought we have entered the “killer rabbit” phase of Obama’s presidency. While on a fishing trip in Georgia, Jimmy Carter had used a paddle to fend off a crazed “swamp rabbit” trying to climb into his boat. The incident occurred in April 1979, but was not reported until Carter press secretary Jody Powell mentioned it to AP reporter

Swine flu, or H1N1, had been dead for 20 years when it suddenly re-emerged in 1977 with a curious twist. The new strain was genetically similar to one from the 1950s, almost as though it had been sitting frozen in a lab since then. Indeed, it eventually became clear that the late-70s flu outbreak was likely the result of a lowly lab worker’s snafu. Lab accidents like that are extremely rare. Still, two scientists are now arguing that it’s not worth continuing to create new, transmissible versions of deadly viruses in labs because the risk that the diseases will escape and

Even before Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell blew out Tea-Party-conservative-by-day-cockfight-rally-goer-by-night Matt Bevin, many in the media walked down a tired, well-worn narrative path. An afternoon headline from CNN blared, “How Mitch McConnell crushed the Tea Party” well before the polls had closed. The primary result was a big “win” for the GOP establishment and a “loss” for the Tea Party. For those keeping score, it is now roughly the GOP establishment 5 (Kentucky, Texas, North Carolina, Ohio, Georgia) and the Tea Party 1 (Nebraska). But this win-loss story line doesn’t reflect reality. The real struggle in 2014 is not between the

CHICAGO- Police arrested 110 protesters Wednesday outside McDonald´s corporate campus. The group of protesters had marched up the driveway of McDonald´s sprawling campus in suburban Chicago. They were met by about 250 law enforcement officers, including state police in riot gear, and were asked to leave. When they refused, the strikers were taken into custody, according to the Oak Brook police department in Illinois. The protests took place a day before McDonald´s annual meeting on Thursday, when more protests are planned. It was the latest chapter in the broader fast food protest movement that began over a year ago, with workers demanding their wage

Yesterday’s primary results in Kentucky, Georgia, Oregon, and Idaho confirmed what has already become an obvious trend this year. Tea Party-backed candidates would not sweep to victory in Republican primary fights across the nation as they largely did in 2010 and 2012. That was good news for the so-called GOP establishment as well as for incumbents like Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, who crushed his Tea Party challenger in a Kentucky landslide. But it is even worse news for President Obama and the Democrats. Republicans blew golden opportunities to take winnable Senate seats from vulnerable Democratic incumbents in both the last

President Obama is taking a swipe at the Founding Fathers, blaming his inability to move his agenda on the “disadvantage” of having each state represented equally in the Senate. At a Democratic fundraiser in Chicago Thursday night, Mr. Obama told a small group of wealthy supporters that there are several hurdles to keeping Democrats in control of the Senate and recapturing the House. One of those problems, he said, is the apportionment of two Senate seats to each state regardless of population. “Obviously, the nature of the Senate means that California has the same number of Senate seats as Wyoming.

North Carolina restaurant The Pit was robbed at gunpoint on Sunday. Normally, local crime stories like this wouldn´t merit a Townhall post, but this one is different: The Pit has a "no weapons" sign displayed prominently on its door declaring the restaurant a gun-free zone, and bans patrons from carrying concealed weapons. Authorities said just before 9 p.m. Sunday, three men wearing hoodies entered the restaurant through the back doors with pistols, and forced several staff members to lie on the floor. The bandits assaulted two employees during the crime, but they were not seriously injured. What groups like Everytown for Gun
