Nasa data reveals Antarctic ice sheet
is melting at an ´unstoppable´ speed

Original Article

The huge West Antarctic ice sheet is starting a glacially slow collapse in an unstoppable way, two new studies show. Alarmed scientists say that means even more sea level rise than they figured. The worrisome outcomes won´t be seen soon. Scientists are talking hundreds of years, but over that time the melt that has started could eventually add 4 to 12 feet to current sea levels. A NASA study looking at 40 years of ground, airplane and satellite data of what researchers call ´the weak underbelly of West Antarctica´ shows the melt is happening faster than scientists had predicted, crossing

Lemme see: government sponsored university studies, NASA (NOAA corroboration????), computer simulations, decade or century data points (read: unverifiable), apocalyptic predictions linked to AGW: "It´s likely because of man-made global warming and the ozone hole which have changed the Antarctic winds and warmed the water that eats away at the feet of the ice"(snip)"Curbing emissions from fossil fuels to slow climate change will probably not halt the melting but it could slow the speed of the problem", slow the speed - by how much??? at what economic cost??

No mention of: the Sun.

Call me a cynic: but the nature and timing of this seems like the AGW lobby doubling down in the face of other verified data discrediting their computer projections.

Okay, I´m a cynic.

It seems to me that this has been discussed before. The WESTERN Antarctic is melting but the EASTERN Antarctic, a much larger area is growing with an OVERALL growth or stability of the entire Antarctic.

Alarmists keep coming back to the WESTERN ice sheet because they finally found something that is actually melting. They then downplay or ignore the overall data because it´s "inconvenient" to their manufactured panic.

But beyond all that, the sea level has been rising at a small STEADY rate for a long time. It hasn´t sped up despite all the Alarmist´s claims. So, whatever is going on, it hasn´t affected sea level rate of increase.

If the ice melts, the sea water becomes less salty which means it freezes at a higher tempature. Problem solved.

Also why does my glass not overflow when the bourbon melts the ice in it if their theory is right?

It had to come sometime, and it came in one very bad week for the Democrats: that the many big problems with Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama finally grew too great for the press to ignore. Obama in his own different way is heading towards Nixon-like levels of weirdness, as, beaten down by the failures regarding his ventures, he appears to have quit his own job. A.B. Stoddard of the Hill says in effect he has stopped being president and chooses to live in a world of his own, shutting out the problems that have become overwhelming, giving dinners where he talks

Sessions cites a recent report from the National Journal, in which reporter Major Garrett detailed how, despite the ongoing

Attorney General Eric Holder encouraged Americans not to forget race while working for justice and equality in their country. “As it stands, our society is not yet color blind -- nor should it be -- given the disparities that still afflict and divide us.” Holder explained, “We must be color brave, and we must never forget that all are made better and more prosperous if all are given equal opportunities.” Holder made his remarks during a speech at Howard University on Tuesday for the 50th Anniversary Celebration of the Civil Rights Act. “We must take into account not only the
