Gays Gone Wild: Life in America
after the Ball is Over

American Thinker, by Robert Oscar Lopez

Original Article

Before “After the Ball” was the title of a gay rights manifesto published in 1989 by Harvard graduates Marshall Kirk and Hunter Madsen (see this critique by Doug Mainwaring), it was a line in a sentimental show tune tied to Jerome Kern’s musical Show Boat. On gay issues, a mean season is upon us now. Innocent Americans – both gay and otherwise – find themselves sucked into the whirlpools of the filthy swamp that is mainstream gay culture, or “Gay Inc.” (and we´re talking not just about Bryan Singer’s pool orgies, the rise of shameless gay human trafficking, beloved gay porn

Some day something else will take the place of gays in the liberal attack on America, decency and religion and they will be left behind to fend for themselves. When their widespread support vanishes they will have to deal with life alone, and it won´t be pretty for them.

It’s just so darn unfair, isn’t it? She was only doing her job. Alana Goodman reports in the Washington Free Beacon (hat tip TWS): Newly discovered audio recordings of Hillary Clinton from the early 1980s include the former first lady’s frank and detailed assessment of the most significant criminal case of her legal career: defending a man accused of raping a 12-year-old girl. It comes in the context of the Democrats’ claims of a GOP “war on women.” Yet here is the presumptive front-runner, the supposed champion of women and Historic First female president, scheming to

The cover-up is always worse than the crime, the conclusion drawn from Watergate, does not seem to have been learned by the IRS or whoever directed it to make the claim late Friday that emails from Lois Lerner to outside agencies (including most notably the White House) were lost in a computer “crash.” That claim is risible according to various experts. It is a confounding spectacle. The President of the United States faces a grave crisis in Iraq that threatens to undo the hard-won victory of his predecessor and flies off for a weekend of golf and fundraising in Palm Springs, blandly assuring the American people that his staff would prepare options for him to review in a couple of days. A senior prosecutor in Travis Country (Austin) Texas has been fired for dismissing a juror in a trial and is likely to sue, which could lead to a fascinating court battle over the nature of the NAACP. It’s subpoena time. And Hillary Clinton’s book tour may not be a warm-up for a presidential campaign so much as a financial and ego exercise. There will be hell to pay on the campaign trail, unless the GOP nominates a dummy. President Obama is poised to reap a whirlwind of consequences for his conduct of the war on terror. Iraq is falling into the hands of the enemy President Bush had defeated on the battlefield. The fact that the Obama administration lied to the American people about the Benghazi attack in order to smooth his re-election makes his failures in conducting

Eric Cantor and his team were in it up to their necks. The best explanation of Brat’s win, however, may have been given on January

Mrs. Clinton admitted that she kept detailed notes of the Benghazi crisis, a paper trail that could be subject to subpoena. That was more than twice the share that named any other president. The other three presidents of the quarter century all polled about the same: 18% said they most admired President Barack Obama; 17% named George W. Bush; and 16%

Anaheim, CA - President Obama, appearing emboldened after his recent move to cut carbon emissions from coal-fired power plants, on Saturday ridiculed members of Congress who deny climate change or plead scientific ignorance as an alibi for avoiding an uncomfortable truth. Members of Congress called on President Obama Sunday to link up with Arab allies and quell a quick-moving crisis in Iraq, where Islamic militants swept toward Baghdad and left a bloody trail in their wake. Republican lawmakers said the administration has sat on the sidelines for too long as sectarian violence threatens to undo what U.S. troops accomplished during the war in Iraq. The bloodshed spurred by militants from an al Qaeda splinter group could topple the country’s fragile government while civil war rages in neighboring Syria, they said, offering a magnet for extremists from Iran and even western nations.
