Michael Mann Is A Liar and

Power Line, by John Hinderaker

Michael Mann is one of the most partisan advocates for the catastrophic anthropogenic global warming theory. He is controversial for several reasons: he invented the “hockey stick” graph, which was intended to show that recent warming trends were unprecedented, and has since been exposed as a hoax that misrepresents historic temperatures. He has fought bitterly to prevent his own emails from being discovered in litigation, even though he is a public employee whose research is lavishly funded by taxpayers. He has participated in some of the dishonest “tricks”–their word–by which climate alarmists have kept billions of dollars in

I remember reading an analysis of his "hockey stick" showing that if you randomize all the data except for one tree ring in Siberia, you always get a "hockey stick" graph from his formulas.

And the only thing the govt has done was ethanol fuel, which actually hurt.

Back in the late 1800´s, Communism originated as underhanded, condescending scientific fakery to control the peasants, and the most recent Communistic fakery is the peasant controlling fakeness of "global warming".

It turned out to be such an incredibly fake phrase, that it was quickly downgraded to absolutely meaningless titles like "Weather change". The communists had to "change"
their own stupidity, but they´ve kept the same fascist lobbied controlling laws driving up energy costs on all of us peasants!

After all, the dreaded CO2 is actually just an essential nutrient, without which, we would all freeze to death.

Algore, is truly one of the master propaganda criminals of ALLTIME, and this Mann fellow is just another covert communist destroyer, who happens to be late to the Communist Party Line.

Like the fraudulent lies of Obama, Communist forced medicine, Hilary and Benghazi, the lies of Algore´s maniacal global propaganda, are all being exposed, too!z

Mann is just another symptom of postmodernism and secular humanism, both of which mold the truth like a wax nose to suit their own desires.

The culture is permeated with Michael Manns who have no compunction about lying because to them, the truth is what they want it to be. Like Obama. He lies because he can.

The truth, contrary to the notions of postmoderns, matters. It does not vary from one person to the next. The truth is out there to be found. Some find it. In 21st century America, most don´t.

Michael Mann doesn´t really care about truth -- in true humanist fashion, the truth is what he says it is. He sees no inconsistency with what is actually before his own eyes. Making things up is fun.

When Pilate offhandedly asked Jesus, "What is truth?", he was reflecting the Michael Mann worldview of our culture -- truth is what you say it is. There is your truth, there is my truth.

But reality is otherwise. Manmade global warming is a lie. Michael Mann is indeed lying about it, knows he´s lying, and doesn´t care.

What I wouldn´t give for the "old days" when most people had consciences.

The comments about Penn State are really funny. 1) The new president had nothing to do with hiring Mann,it was Spanier who also ignored the Sandusky affair. Lots of PSU meteorology grads (highly respected in the profession are fighting global warming hype (Joe Bastardi for one). (2) The PSU area was sick about Ssndusky and cheered his verdict. (3) Penn State is not that liberal. We treat conservative speakers with respect for example. Have our faults but some sour grapes or ignorance here.

It might appear that the new PSU president Eric Barron had nothing to do with hiring Mann, but the most recent edition of the PSU alumni magazine states proudly that Barron hired Mann (I assume from UVA) back in the day when Barron was an official at Penn State, where he apparently was on board early with the climate change movement. I had no idea about this until I read it last week in the magazine. Believe me, it is a point of pride to him and to the editors of the magazine that he is responsible for Mann being at Penn State.

As his policies, foreign and domestic, are collapsing on pretty much every front, President Obama has increasingly sought refuge in talk about global warming. He wants the U.S. to reduce its emissions of carbon dioxide, and the EPA has done its best to bring this about via increasingly stringent regulations on coal-fired power plants. The Democrats wanted to enact cap-and-trade, but couldn’t get it through Congress, so Obama is doing the best he can through administrative action. Simultaneously, the administration has poured billions of dollars into specious “green” energy projects, many of which can’t be kept alive even with lavish

The Wall Street Journal editorial page predictably bemoans the collapse of immigration reform and, equally predictably, insinuates that Democrats conspired to help kill it in order to benefit politically. (Favoring cooperation with President Obama on anything requires conservatives to argue that the president secretly hopes the measure will fail.) But the real news comes in the seventh paragraph, when the Journal reports that House Republicans were actually poised to pass a bill before Eric Cantor´s loss freaked them out: ... a majority of GOP Members wanted an immigration reform to pass as long as they didn´t have to vote for

Every major strand of American conservatism includes a strong libertarian streak, because the value of liberty is fundamental to just about all conservative thought. But today, especially, is said to be the libertarians’ moment. What once was a fringe movement, politically speaking, has moved front and center in our political life. And yet, in my view, libertarians of both the capital L and small l varieties punch below their weight. They have not contributed as much as they should to the conservative movement. This is partly because libertarians tend to founder on foreign policy, where many are merely modern-day isolationists. But

The Israeli government has confirmed reports initially surfacing at the Associated Press and the New York Times that the bodies of three Israeli teenagers reported missing earlier this month have been found. The Israeli cabinet is conducting an emergency meeting on the matter. Officials are confident that they have found the bodies of Naftali Frenkel, Gilad Shaar, and Eyal Yifrach, who went missing in the West Bank earlier this month. Frenkel, a U.S. Citizen, and Shaar were 16 years old; Yifrach was 19. “They know it’s the three, they will know for sure after they do the autopsy," said an Israeli official to the newspaper on the condition of anonymity. He noted that the children appear to have been killed close to the time of kidnapping and had gunshot wounds. If you are a disgruntled intelligence officer or official and want to undermine a program or aid enemies of the United States, Risen is the go-to guy. Risen’s accomplishments in this area have been overshadowed by the emergence of Edward Snowden, but Risen should not be forgotten.
